Title: Unveiling the Charms of the Great Wall The Great Wall of China, a testament to ancient engineering prowess and military strategy, stands as a colossal monument to human history. Spanning across vast landscapes, this remarkable structure captivates the imagination of travelers from around the globe. My journey to the Great Wall was not just a physical expedition but a spiritual quest to unravel its enduring legacy.Nestled within the verdant hills of northern China, the Great Wall presents a picture-perfect scenario. The limestone and brick fortifications, weathered by centuries of wind and rain, retain their dignity and grandeur, despite the ravages of time. The wall, often referred to as the "Eight Thousand Li Long Wall," snakes its way through the mountains,消失在遥远的地平线上,a visual treat that never fails to awe the beholder. My ascent began at the base of the wall, where the steps were worn smooth by the feet of generations. The wind whispered tales of past battles and heroes who once guarded these very walls. As I climbed, the view unfolded like ascroll, revealing lush forests, rolling hills, and the occasional peony-dotted meadows. The Great Wall is not just a physical barrier; it's a symbol of unity and resilience. It tells the story of a nation that, through adversity and conflict, has persevered and thrived. Standing on these ancient stones, I could almost hear the echoes of ancient songs and the clash of swords. It was a powerful reminder of the resilience of the Chinese people and their unwavering commitment to preserving their culture and heritage. The Great Wall also offers a unique perspective on the environment. Its location, often along natural boundaries like river valleys and mountain ranges, highlights the harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature. It's a powerful reminder that we are stewards of the earth, and our actions today will shape the legacy we leave for future generations. My visit to the Great Wall was not just a trip but a profound experience. It taught me about the resilience of the human spirit, the importance of preserving history, and the need for harmonious coexistence with nature. As I stoodon those ancient stones, I felt a sense of pride and awethat will forever be etched in my memory.**揭秘长城的魅力**中国长城,作为古代工程技艺与军事策略的见证,是人类历史上的一座巨大纪念碑。

英语作文推荐旅游景点考研英语一My Awesome Trip to the Grand Canyon!Hey friends! I just got back from the most amazing family vacation to the Grand Canyon in Arizona. It was so incredible, I can't wait to tell you all about it!First off, just getting there was an adventure. We had to drive for what felt like forever through the hot, dry desert. Miles and miles of tan dirt, rocks, and scrubby bushes as far as the eye could see. My little brother and I got bored and started having contests to see who could spot the most different license plates from other states on the cars zooming by. I won with 27 states! After driving for hours, we finally arrived at the national park entrance. That's when we got our first glimpse of the Grand Canyon itself peeking over the horizon. My jaw just dropped. Even from far away, it looked massively huge! The road twisted and turned until finally, we reached an overlook and I could see the whole thing in all its glory.Wow. The Grand Canyon is seriously ONE BIG HOLE IN THE GROUND! It's over a mile deep, 18 miles wide and stretches on for 277 river miles long. And it wasn't just one flat color either. The rocky cliffs looked almost painted with layers of differentearthy shades - brick red, pale yellow, chalky white, and burnt orange all blended together. So much bigger and more vibrant than I ever could have imagined from pictures. As we drove along the South Rim stopping at different viewpoints, each one seemed even more breathtaking than the last. My favorite was Mather Point where you could look out in a giant panorama across the hugecanyon and spot the winding Colorado River thousands of feet below. One afternoon, we took a trail partway into the canyon itself. That was a workout for sure! The path just seemed to zigzag endlessly down steep switchbacks carved into the cliff walls. My legs were jelly by the time we reached an old rugged stone hut built in the 1920s that hikers use for shelter. I was amazed that people actually hike all the way downinside the canyon and back up again over multiple days carrying all their supplies on their backs. Those hikers must be super tough!Another day, we went for a sunset walk along the rim trail and I got to watch the canyon slowly change colors as theevening light faded. The shadows grew longer and the reds and oranges appeared to almost glow from within as the sun sank below the horizon. So awesome! Our hotel was right on the rim, so we had million dollar views just stepping outside our door each morning. One of the best parts was being able to watch the sunrise over the canyon. The morning light gradually crept across the vast landscape, slowly illuminating the various ridges and buttes and casting the whole place in a warm red-orange glow.No trip to the Grand Canyon would be complete without a bird's eye view, so one day we went on an awesome helicopter tour! After lift-off, the pilot banked hard and we sudden found ourselves soaring right over the edge of the rim with nothing below us but dizzying empty space and the snaking Colorado River in the distance. What a thrill! We flew deeper into the canyon and hovered near some of the rocky ledges and buttes, getting a jungle explorer's perspective. I even spotted some tiny hikers on one of the trails far below, making me feel like a giant. On our last day, we drove over to the less crowded western area of the park to check out Hermit's Rest. This rambling stone building looked like an abandoned haunted mansion clinging to the edge of the rim. Inside were all sorts of rustic furnishings, Native American artworks, and pictures from way back in the 1900s when it was a rest stop for travellers. My sister and I had ablast pretending we were ghosts haunting its eerie hallways and creepy old abandoned rooms! After spending several days at the Grand Canyon, I have to say it was one of the most epic and memorable places I've ever visited. I'll never forget gawking over the sheer massive size of it or the spectacular colors blazing at sunrise and sunset. It was like something from another world! Although we did tons of fun activities, I think my favorite moments were just sitting peacefully on the rim taking in the vast, unbelievable view totally surrounding us from every angle.I feel so lucky to have experienced the Grand Canyon up close. It's one of the world's most iconic natural wonders for a good reason - because it really is that astounding and special. No pictures or videos can truly capture how incredible it is to witness in person. You just have to go see it for yourself someday! So there you have it, friends - my amazing Grand Canyon adventure! Who's up for joining me for a return trip to explore even more of this epic wonderland? We're gonna need to bring plenty of snacks and water for the journey...。

Will you pick it up and throw it into the trash can nearby? Clear creek, a can is particularly eye-catching, you kicked it into the river or pick it up? In the eleven golden week, I encountered these two things in Qiandao Lake and Taishan. The result was really distressing, and the quality of the Chinese people should be seen here.On the trail of the Thousand Island Lake, a young girl threw a Kunlun Mountains mineral water bottle into the lawn. I picked it up and ran to the little girl. "Children, its not right to litter."." At this moment, her father, a middle-aged man with sunglasses, gave me a contemptuous look and walked away with the little girls hand. Obviously, he wanted to escape the question. Or, in his eyes, "this is not my home" - the son does not teach, the father of the past, you said that this person is insignificant? If everyone throws a drink bottle on the lawn, the consequences will always be imagined. The artillery Taishan farmhouse near the gurgling streams with rolling hills, good scenery! Suddenly, a bottle fell into the water -- a boy was kicking a can. I was silent, and I got the cans out of the water. Not long after, he kicked the cans down the water again. Im angry: "nature is our own. Why do you destroy the environment?"" He didnt say angrily: "do you want to be?" This tone, I hate not a brick knock him to death! What a bad upbringing!Although the atmosphere of civilized tourism in China is much better than that of the past two years, there is still much room for improvement. The government should step up publicityso as to make people behave more civilized and more competent.I sincerely hope that I will never see littering again, which is contrary to civilization!旅游景点英语作文篇6I took a trip to Shanghai with my mother during the seven-day holiday. It took two and a half hours to fly from hangzhou xiaoshan airport to narita airport in Japan. The most impressive thing that impressed me during my five-day trip to Japan was skiing in Fuji. Mt. Fuji is the highest peak in Japan. The Japanese are known as "sacred mountains" and are the symbol of the Japanese people. They were selected as "world cultural heritage" in June 20xx.There is a ski park in the middle of fushi mountain. There are two slides: one is to use the snow basin; The other one is with a tire. I used these two skiing tools separately. I feel that the ski tools are different at different speeds. Because I used to skate over snow in anji, zhejiang, is a skiing "master", so both kinds of speed can be handy and easy to use. As I slid to the finish line, I looked up at the towering Mount Fuji, the white snow on the top of the mountain, and silver in the sunlight. It was spectacular. When I walked into the Disneyland in Tokyo, I was deeply attracted. It was a beautiful and interesting fairy tale world. "Adventure land", "animal world", "fantasy land"... We have visited seven theme parks and brought us endless joy. I was deeply impressed by the civilized behavior of Japanese children when the parade of floats filled with Disney characters. Japanese children and their parents, at the appointed place shangdi mat sit on the floor, the shop is very orderly, no one stand up yelling, at the end of march, the place where they sit no debris-brick, I was shocked! Their civilized behavior deserves our study.旅游景点英语作文篇11One night, the skinny little father and mother burst of reprimanded back to the room, slowly open the computer. 2017年考研英语一大作文题目
要求:Write an essay of 160-200 words based on the following pictures. In the essay. You should
1) describe the pictures briefly.
2) interpret the meaning,and
3) give your comments.
You should write neatly on the ANSWER SHEET.
范文:
This set of pictures capture two vivid but quite different scenes. In one picture, a man is lying on the armchair, pointing to the bookshelf full of books in front of him. He is proudly bragging about the number of his books.By stark contrast, another man is sitting at his desk with a book open and a few books besides him. He wants to read twenty books this year. The major theme is humorously reflected in the subtitle: “I have books”and “I read books”.
In fact, the seemingly simple cartoons subtly disclose a prevailing phenomenon. Nowadays, fewer people read books and more people have books. Reading is of utmost importance for one’s life. Firstly, a good book is our faithful friend. Reading can increase our contentment when we are cheerful and happy, and can lessen our pain when we are sad or lonely. Secondly, reading can help people to relax and unwind. Few of us can travel far from home, but all of us can savor a wide range of experiences through reading. Besides, reading can also increase our knowledge and skills, broaden our horizons and make us wise.
To advocate the importance of reading books, the mass media should be held accountable. They should make relevant public campaign to promote
the idea that read more books rather than have books. As the saying goes, “action speaks louder than words”.By 有道考研。
