由于学生在上一个模块已经学习了动词的现在分词形式，所以在这一课里，学生能够比较好的掌握。
但有相当部分学生不知道动词be在句子中的使用意义。
比如，学生把重要句型“What are they doing?”表达成“What they doing?而我在课堂上处理这一问题时，没有做到位，没有给学生足够的发言权，当一学生举手站起来说“What they doing?”时，我只是再请另一个学生纠正，而没有进行比较和渗透be动词在句中的不可或缺，只是重复了一遍正确的表达“What are they doing?”并板书。
给学生的第一次输入很重要，我没把这处理好，导致在后面的练习活动中有部分学生还是用到了“What they doing?”.
