Teaching Goals:
1.To arouse Ss’ interest in learning about the good healthy habits.
2.To develop Ss’ ability in discussing.
Teaching Procedures:
Step 1.Introduction
Purpose:To activate Ss and arouse them to talk about illness.
1.Leading-in
Ask Ss the following questions:Have you ever got such illnesses like flu and toothache? How do you feel when you get these illnesses? How do you get rid of them? And do you know why people would get such illnesses?
2.Pairwork
Ask Ss to go through the sentences in Activity 2 on P1,and tick the sentences that are true for themselves.
3.Group work
Ask Ss to work in groups and read the four proverbs in Activity 3 on P1 together and then discuss what the proverbs mean either in English or in Chinese.
