并处于知识积累，前后知识衔接，培养良好的学习习惯的关键时期。
大部分学生对英语有一定兴趣，但由于知识的安排由浅入深，有少数学生对这门学科产生了厌恶心理，消除学生厌学情绪，激发学习兴趣显得至关重要。
2.我的学生的特点：我的教学对象是边远农村学生，英语基础薄弱，学习习惯还有待提高，学习目标不明确，与其它学校学生相比存在很大差距，但是课堂上发言积极，具有勇于表现自我，不怕失败的精神。

大家好，今天我要说课的内容是新目标八年级英语上册第5单元SectionA的前部分，
（题目）是Canyoucometomyparty?其主要的内容是：学会向别人提出邀请、接受或委婉拒绝别人的邀请，学会谈论自己的计划安排。
本单元围绕“邀请和请求许可”这一话题，设计了三个任务型活动：
Task1：对话展现提出邀请和接受邀请及拒绝邀请的英文表达。
Task2：进行调查，询问同学们拒绝做某事的原因。
Task3：制作请柬，练习对话，巩固所学单词及句型。
通过这三个任务型的活动使学生掌握提出邀请，接受邀请，拒绝邀请，
并说明理由的表达方式。

在此之前，学生已掌握can，haveto及wouldlove的用法。
所以，这些对学生来说并不难，比较容易掌握。
