With the development of society, many people can afford a car. As the number of the cars is rising, we are facing some problems. One big problem is the pollution caused by the use of cares. In order to solve this problem, government agencies in some big cities recently suggest that a "pollution tax" should be put on private cars in order to control the number of cars and reduce pollution in the city. For my part, I agree to this viewpoint, and my reasons are as follows:

To begin with, cars contribute to the environmental pollution. For example, a lot of big cities in China are now plagued by serious air pollution. Then it is the responsibility of these private car owners to pay for the pollution and they should be taxed. The purpose of collecting environmental pollution tax is to raise the fund, and then utilize the tax revenue lever to protect our environment.

Every college student is required to live in school dormitory, partly because it is very convenient for those who live far from school, partly because it is an effective way to help them improve the ability of self-care. Furthermore, college students are not as busy as high school students, they don’t have to attend classes all day long and do much homework. So they surely have enough spare time to do chores like cleaning on their own. Last, college students are all adults, they are old enough to take good care of themselves.

With the rapid development of economy, people’s living standards improve as well, which, in turn, contributes to more and more students hiring cleaners. People’s at titudes towards it vary greatly: some people are for it, while some do not side with them. First of all, to college students ourselves, hiring cleaners not only leads to our laziness, but also weaken our independent consciousness. If college students do not develop the good habit of dealing with things independently and decisively, then we will surely be excluded from the highly-developing society. What's more, it is not easy for parents to bring us up and afford our tuition. We should understand them and save money as possible as we can. Last but not the least, doing laundry is our own thing. We have already been in our twenties, so we should learn to be independent. That is also beneficial to our development and makes us adapt to the society easier.
