My Impression of The Tourist
When I saw the name the first time, I thought this movie would be very violent and thrilling, but I was wrong, it fulls of danger, the role should be alert to every sound and movement. Some students think it is a little boring, while in my view, this is a good film and I will watch it again in the future.
The Tourist is acted by Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie, being published in 2011.The plot is a bit common, but the audience can’t easily guess the plot development. I am s fan of Johnny Depp. He has excellent performance in many movies, just like Pirates of the Caribbean, Charlie’s chocolate factory and so on. In the movie, he played the role of an affectionate, named Alexander or Frank. Angelina Jolie is named as Elise, an elegant lady.
In addition to the big stars, the film shows the scenery of Venice. It is fascinating and attractive. Above all, I think the film is worth to be watched.
What we saw in the movie, our heroine had a bracelet on her wrist at dinner with our hero. We have a question that the importance of the bracelet. According to our heroine's words, we can draw a conclusion that the effect of the bracelet is enormous. it's the roman god,Janus.my mother gave it to me when i was little.she wanted it to teach me that people have two sides,a good side,a bad side.past and future.and that we must embrace both in someone we love.
In general, as far as I am concerned, the bracelet is just a clue in the movie. At the beginning of the movie, our hero and heroine have made some conversation which is a little boring. As a matter of fact, these conversations give us many clues. The bracelet is just one of the important clues which through the movie.
On the basis of the film dialogues, we could get it. “It is the Roman god, Janus. My mother gave me and wanted to teach me that people have two sides︰a good side and a bad side﹔Past and future . We must embrace both in someone we love. And I tried…”This clue suggests us that a person could change with time passed. After all, our heroine has not seen our hero 2 years. And our hero who has to escape killing, had a cosmetic surgery.
At present, the man who stands before Elise is Frank not Pierce. In my opinion, the bracelet is the symbol of our hero Pierce. He has two sides. On one hand, he
stole a large sum of money from the gangster and did not pays the tax. As a result, many policemen from different countries want to arrest him. On the other hand, he loves our heroine Elise all the time. After the cosmetic surgery, he could choose did not see Elise any more. But he refused to do so. Two years ago, our hero is a thief which steals so much money and flees away. Now, he is a math teacher from Wisconsin. Alexandria Pierce has changed into Frank Tupelo.
My favoriate the words is he’s different from anybody I know and I don’t regret it ,you know,kissing you.
Film reflects an fascinating life that most of us pursue all the time. Venice is the place where the film was shot, the place we all yearn towards.Dangerous, humorous, the movie impressed me much. But remember, love is still the theme of this movie, I think.。
