There I met some inspiring members who put so much of their heart into caring for those children who maybe had no one else to love them. The work itself was not only very hard but at times emotionally demanding, especially sending a group of two­year­olds back into the prison at the end of the day. Despite all this, I learnt a lot through the experience and now I’m more aware of the problems faced daily by many people in South America. The centre has very limited funding so they rely heavily on the work of volunteers, and any time people give is very valuable to them. Since returning to Britain I have kept in touch with the people I worked with and I’m trying to support them as much as possible. • 一、倒装
• 倒装是将语句中的主语、谓语、宾语、状语等颠倒 顺序的一种语法现象,常常具有强调语气,在英语 中比较常见,也是高考中常考的一种语法。根据倒 装的结构可以分为完全倒装和部分倒装。
• (一)完全倒装
• 1.there be句型属于完全倒装结构,该句型中be可换 为appear,lie,live,stand,remain,exist等表示存 在意义的动词。
• (二)部分倒装 • 1.never,seldom,by no means,not until,rarely,
hardly,at no time,scarcely,little,in no way 等表 示否定或半否定的词置于句首时,句子要部分倒装。

• 名师点津:(1)若两个动词的形式不一样,即表示两 种不同情况时,则用so it is with...it is the same with...。
