Warming up and lead in (Pre-reading)I’d like to show a ll the students a phone and use the we-chat to lead- in the text.T: Do you know what it is?S: Yes, it’s a phone.T: Now there is a new message in the we-chat. Let’s see what it is. Oh, It’s my friend Lisa. She said can you guess where am I?Then Lisa sent us two pictures. According to these pictures, we can see that Lisa isnow in Disneyland. And then Lisa is calling by the we-chat. She said: “Good morning, boys and girls, I’m Lisa, I’m now in Disneyland. Do you like Disneyland? Do you like Cartoons? Wha t’s your favorite cartoon?”According to Lisa’s questions, we can lead in the new text.II. BrainstormingAll the students talked about the question and tell the class their favorite cartoons. Like: Tom and Jerry, Frozen and so on.Ⅲ. Teaching Procedures(While-reading)Task 1:I’d like to show the students a picture that Lisa updated her moments in the we-chat, and Lisa said she is a fan of Mickey Mouse. She wants to find Mickey in the Disneyland, do all the students want to go with her?According to the students’ answers. I’d like students to listen to the tape of the text and then try to find out if these statements about Mickey are right or wrong. Then I will ask students to read Para1 together, after this, I will ask them to finish three questions about this paragraph.Task 3:After the students have finished the questions, Lisa has got a ticket of Steam Boat Willie, so this time, I can lead to another question: How much do you know about Mickey’s stories?Then I’d like students to read Para 2 and then try to retell and role-play Para 2. 教案设计意图:八年级的学生对阅读课文感觉有些困难,本节课以完成任务的形式来提高学生的阅读能力和阅读兴趣,并从阅读材料中学到新的词汇和短语达到学习语言的目的。

2.Skill Aims: ①能归纳各段的中心句.
②能从阅读材料中找到有关信息完成任务.
③能根据上下文理解新词汇的含义并运用.

①了解美国卡通电影的发展史.
②做一个有创意的人

2.Read the words one by one, Make sentences using the Key words to help the students understa nd them well.
Teacher:Mickey Mouse is a cartoon character ,Donald Duck is a cartoon character,too.They are famous and successful in the world.We can see them in cartoon films.
(设计意图:初学生阅读时最怕看到生词,停下来去查会影响阅读速度和阅读兴趣,所以,不如在阅读前了解生词。

短时间内都记下生词是不可能的,但是事先的简短了解也会有帮助,老师可用与课文有关的句子来帮助学生理解生词的含义,为下一步的阅读打下基础。

)Step 3.While-reading.(20min)
1.Read the passage quickly and complete the time line on the next page.The students do it all by themselves.Then check the answers in class.
2.Read the passage again and fill the fact about Mickey in 2c.This time ,the students read the passage more carefully.The teacher walk around and offer them help if necessary.Then check the answers.
3.Read the passage for the third time and find out the answers to the questions in 2d.While working ,they can discuss the questions with their partners.The teacher can take part in the discussion,too.After that ,ask some students to share their answers in class.
(设计意图:这个环节是本课的重点,第一次阅读要求学生快速,根据the time line 上的信息在文中快速找到关键词。

第二次阅读要
仔细,可以先看问题;再在文中找答案,并用笔下划线做标记,第二次阅读是对全文进行一次细致的梳理,更多的是表达自己对 Mickey Mouse 这个角色的喜好和理解。

经过这三次的阅读,训练了学生的阅读能力和解决问题的能力。


Step 4. Listening and Reading (6min)
1.Play the tape,the students can read the passage in a low voice while listening.
2.Ask them to read aloud all by themselves.
(设计意图:通过听课文录音,让学生模仿发音,停顿和语调,增强他们的语感。


Step 5.Practice .Section B 2e (8min)
1.Show the following phrases : think of,come out, one of the main reasons,such as,was ready to, try his best.
2.Ask the students underline them in the passage.Then read aloud and put then into Chinese if necessary.Make sure they understand the meanings.
3.Write their own sentences using the phrases as much as they can.
(设计意图:这是本节课的最后一个环节,模仿造句。

一方面通过课文例句理解短语含义,另一方面通过造句来训练语言的运用能力。

(设计意图:家庭作业分两个层次,一时大声朗读,巩固新词和短语的发音;另一方面是针对基础好的学生,通过复述课文来练习语言的运用和加深课文的理解。
