小王子英文原版阅读《小王子》英文原版阅读如下:Once upon a time, there was a little prince who lived on a planet that had three volcanoes, two active and one inactive. He also had some rose bushes, a king, a vain man, a drunkard, a greedy businessman, a bon vivant, and a geographer. The little prince left his planet and visited many other planets, learning about the ways of the world. He encountered a fox who taught him about the importance of seeing the essential nature of things and understanding the deeper meaning of life. The fox also told him that the most important thing in life is to "make the heart of the other person ache with the beauty of your own."The little prince's journey took him to Earth, where he met a pilot. They formed a friendship and the pilot learned from the little prince about the true meaning of life and love. The little prince described his rose to the pilot, explaining that even though it was not the most beautiful rose, it was the only one that belonged to him and he loved it dearly.Eventually, the little prince left Earth and returned to his own planet, where he learned to appreciate the simple things in life and to love his rose even more deeply. The book ends with a message about the importance of understanding human nature and appreciating the beauty and value of life.请注意,上述回答是《小王子》的部分英文内容,如果想了解完整的英文原版,建议直接阅读原版英文书籍。

小王子英文中英对照第2 5
小王子英文中英对照第2 5The Little Prince: English-Chinese Bilingual Edition - Chapter 2 & 5Chapter 2: The Little Prince's JourneyOnce upon a time, in a small planet far away, lived a little prince. He had left his tiny planet, with its one and only rose, to explore the universe. During his journey, he encountered various unique and interesting characters. On his second stop, he visited a planet inhabited by a king. This king considered himself the ruler of the entire universe. The little prince observed the king's grand appearance and decided to talk to him."Your Majesty, what is your rule over?" the little prince asked. The king responded, "I rule over everything."The little prince was curious and inquired further, "Does that mean you control the stars and the planets as well?"The king proudly replied, "Yes, I am the ruler of all the stars and planets."The little prince pondered for a moment and said, "But you don't have any subjects."The king, taken aback, realized the truth in the little prince's words. He came to understand that true authority comes from respect and love, not merely control over physical objects.Chapter 5: The Little Prince Meets a FoxContinuing his journey through the universe, the little prince arrived on a new planet. Here, he encountered a friendly fox."Hello there," said the fox. "Would you like to play with me?"The little prince happily agreed, and they spent their time together running and playing in the fields. As they grew closer, the fox shared a secret with the little prince."To me, you are still a little boy, just like a hundred thousand other little boys. And I have no need of you. But if you tame me, we shall need each other. You will be unique to me, and I will be unique to you."The little prince was intrigued. "What does 'tame' mean?""To tame means to establish ties," the fox explained. "By taming each other, we create a bond that cannot be broken. You become responsible for me, and I become responsible for you."The little prince understood the significance of taming. He realized that true bonds are formed through love, care, and mutual understanding.Leaving the planet and bidding the fox farewell, the little prince carried this newfound wisdom with him. He knew that he had learned valuable lessons about friendship, responsibility, and the importance of connections. Conclusion:In these chapters of "The Little Prince," we witness the little prince's encounters with the self-proclaimed king and the wise fox. Through these encounters, the little prince learns about the true nature of authority and the power of forming genuine connections. These experiences shape hisunderstanding of the world and guide him on his journey of self-discovery and understanding. As readers, we are reminded of the significance of love, respect, and responsibility in our own lives.。

小王子英文阅读
小王子英文阅读In "The Little Prince," a young boy from a small asteroid embarks on a journey through the universe. He encounters various inhabitants on different planets, each representing adult flaws and foibles. From a king who reigns over nothingto a businessman obsessed with counting stars, these encounters illuminate the absurdities of grown-up behaviors. On Earth, the little prince meets a fox who teaches himthe importance of relationships and love. The fox explainsthat "one sees clearly only with the heart," emphasizing the value of bonds formed through time and care. This idea resonates deeply with the little prince, as he reflects onhis love for a rose he left behind on his asteroid.Throughout his travels, the little prince carries a profound sense of curiosity, seeking to understand loneliness, friendship, and the essence of what truly matters in life. His innocent perspective reveals how adults often lose sight of fundamental truths amidst their responsibilities and distractions. The poignant nature of his observations challenges readers to reconsider their own values and connections.Ultimately, the little prince's journey serves as a timeless reminder that the most significant things in life are invisible to the eye and can only be felt with the heart. His adventures, filled with whimsy and wisdom, encourage a return to childlike wonder and sincerity, urging us to cherish the simple yet profound moments of love andfriendship in our lives.。

小王子英文版第四章
小王子英文版第四章I had thus learned a second fact of great importance: this was that the planet the little prince came from was scarcely any larger than a house! But that did not really surprise me much. I knew very well that in addition to the great planets-- such as the Earth, Jupiter, Mars, Venus-- to which we have given names, there are also hundreds of others, some of which are so small that one has a hard time seeing them through the telescope. When an astronomer discovers one of these he does not give it a name, but only a number. He might call it, for example, "Asteroid 325."I have serious reason to believe that the planet from which the little prince came is the asteroid known as B-612.This asteroid has only once been seen through the telescope. That was by a Turkish astronomer, in 1909.On making his discovery, the astronomer had presented it to the International Astronomical Congress, in a great demonstration. But he was in Turkish costume, and so nobody would believe what he said.Grown-ups are like that…Fortunately, however, for the reputation of Asteroid B-612, a Turkish dictator made a law that his subjects, under pain of death, should change to European costume. So in 1920 the astronomer gave his demonstration all over again, dressed with impressive style and elegance. And this time everybody accepted his report. If I have told you these details about the asteroid, and made a note of its number for you, it is on account of the grown-ups and their ways. When you tell them that you have made a new friend, they never ask you any questions about essential matters. They never say to you, "What does his voice sound like? What games does he love best? Does he collect butterflies?" Instead, they demand: "How old is he? How many brothers has he? How much does he weigh? How much money does his father make?" Only from these figures do they think they have learned anything about him.If you were to say to the grown-ups: "I saw a beautiful house made of rosy brick, with geraniums in the windows and doves on the roof," they would not be able to get any idea of thathouse at all. You would have to say to them: "I saw a house that cost $20,000." Then they would exclaim: "Oh, what a pretty house that is!"Just so, you might say to them: "The proof that the little prince existed is that he was charming, that he laughed, and that he was looking for a sheep. If anybody wants a sheep, that is a proof that he exists." And what good would it do to tell them that? They would shrug their shoulders, and treat you like a child. But if you said to them: "The planet he came from is Asteroid B-612," then they would be convinced, and leave you in peace from their questions. They are like that. One must not hold it against them. Children should always show great forbearance toward grown-up people. But certainly, for us who understand life, figures are a matter of indifference. I should have liked to begin this story in the fashion of the fairy-tales. I should have like to say: "Once upon a time there was a little prince who lived on a planet that was scarcely any bigger than himself, and who had need of a sheep…"To those who understand life, that would have given a much greater air of truth to my story. For I do not want anyone to read my book carelessly. I have suffered too much grief in setting down these memories. Six years have already passed since my friend went away from me, with his sheep. If I try to describe him here, it is to make sure that I shall not forget him. To forget a friend is sad. Not everyone has had a friend. And if I forget him, I may become like the grown-ups who are no longer interested in anything but figures…It is for that purpose, again, that I have bought a box of paints and some pencils. It is hard to take up drawing again at my age, when I have never made any pictures except those of the boa constrictor from the outside and the boa constrictor from the inside, since I was six. I shall certainly try to make my portraits as true to life as possible. But I am not at all sure of success. One drawing goes along all right, and another has no resemblance to its subject. I make some errors, too, in the little prince's height: in one place he is too tall and in another too short. And I feel some doubts about the color of his costume. So I fumble along as best I can, now good, now bad, and I hope generally fair-to-middling.In certain more important details I shall make mistakes, also. But that is something that will not be my fault. My friend never explained anything to me. He thought, perhaps, that I was like himself. But I, alas, do not know how to see sheep through the walls of boxes. Perhaps I am a littlelike the grown-ups. I have had to grow old.。
小王子英语版本
小王子英语版本以下是《小王子》的英文版本:Once when I was six years old I saw a magnificent picture in a book, called True Stories from Nature, about the primeval forest. It was a picture of a boa constrictor in the act of swallowing an animal. Here is a copy of the drawing. In the book it said: "Boa constrictors swallow their prey whole, without chewing. Afterwards they are not able to extract the bones, so they remain in the boa constrictor's body."I meditated upon this quotation. As I learned from that book, the great powers of Nature show themselves in great deeds, in bold and magnificent images. The more I thought about it, the more agitated I became. I wanted to use this powerful image in a play. I represented the boa constrictor in a costume that looked like a knitted sock, with a yellow skin and black spots. I could see to it that this costume could be opened up like a snake's belly, and inside there was roomfor someone to hide. This time it was my own head that I put inside the costume.I was the boa constrictor, I was also the person who had been swallowed up. I represented both parts, the predator and the victim. I showed how, when the boa constrictor swallowed me up, I then revealed myself from within the boa constrictor, and then the boa constrictor and I together indicated how I got out of it alive. This is how I did it:I lay down on my back on the floor, with my head inside the boa constrictor's stomach. With my hand I opened its jaws from within. My own voice was supposed to say: "I don't know how to get out." At that point I squirmed within the costume and at last crawled out head first. "I managed it!" I cried, half-dead with excitement and emotion. This was my first role as an actor. It was my own head that I got out of the boa constrictor's belly. But if you think about it, it was also a head that got out of the boa constrictor's belly. It was a double role for me.from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's The Little Prince。
