在本课时将进一步学习描述天气,及描述天气的词warm, humid,hot, cool, cold。

以及能够表达对某种天气的喜好并能说明原因。

三.教学目标1. 学生能通过当天的天气状况以及四季的特点来学习描述天气。

四.教材分析本单元的话题是天气,学生比较感兴趣。

结合本节课教学内容,运用图片和Harry Potter is coming!的游戏,复习Section A的现在进行时和“How’s the weather?”。

让学生在轻松愉快的气氛中复习学过的知识,同时为本节课的进一步学习作铺垫。

然后通过一年四季的天气特点引出本课生词warm, humid hot, cool, cold,再通过Chant巩固。

本节课的难点是听力。

在听之前,对听力材料的背景做一定的介绍,以降低听力难度;听完后,就表格内容进行Role play,加深对重点内容的理解和掌握;最后,再将听力材料的对话改为短文的形式,留出重点词汇,让学生填空,检测对听力材料的掌握情况。
