Beauty and the Beast

Beauty and the Beast

Ó¢Óïͯ»°¹ÊÊÂ-Beauty and the BeastOnce upon a time...In a very far-off country, there lived a merchant who had been so fortunate in all his undertakings that he was enormously rich. As he had, however, six sons and six daughters, he found that his money was not too much to let them all have everything they fancied, as they were accustomed to do. But one day a most unexpected misfortune befell them. Their house caught fire and was speedily burnt to the ground, with all the splendid furniture, the books, pictures, gold, silver, and precious goods it contained; and this was only the beginning of their troubles. Their father, who had until this moment prospered in all ways, suddenly lost every ship he had upon the sea, either by dint of pirates, shipwreck, or fire. Then he heard that his clerks in distant countries, whom he trusted entirely, had proved unfaithful; and at last from great wealth he fell into the direst poverty. All that he had left was a little house in a desolate place at least a hundred leagues from the town in which he had lived, and to this he was forced to retreat with his children, who were in despair at the idea of leading such a different life. Indeed, the daughters at first hoped that their friends, who had been so numerous while they were rich, would insist on their staying in their houses now they no longer possessed one. But they soon found that they were left alone, and that their former friends even attributed their misfortunes to their own extravagance, and showed no intention of offering them any help. So nothing was left for them but to take their departure to the cottage, which stood in the midst of a dark forest, and seemed to be the most dismal place upon the face of the earth. As they were too poor to have any servants, the girls had to work hard, like peasants, and the sons, for their part, cultivated the fields to earn their living. Roughly clothed, and living in the simplest way, the girls regretted unceasingly the luxuries and amusements of their former life; only the youngest tried to be brave and cheerful. She had been as sad as anyone when misfortune overtook her father, but, soon recovering her natural gaiety, she set to work to make the best of things, to amuse her father and brothers as well as she could, and to try to persuade her sisters to join her in danc ing and singing. But they would do nothing of the sort, and, because she was not as doleful as themselves, they declared that this miserable life was all she was fit for. But she was really far prettier and cleverer than they were; indeed, she was so lovely that she was always called Beauty. After two years, when they were all beginning to get used to their new life, something happened to disturb their tranquillity. Their father received the news that one of his ships, which he had believed to be lost, had come safely into port with a rich cargo. All the sons and daughters at once thought that their poverty was at an end, and wanted to set out directly for the town; but their father, who was more prudent, begged them to wait a little, and, though it was harvest time, and he could ill be spared, determined to go himself first, to make inquiries. Only the youngest daughter had any doubt but that they would soon again be as rich as they were before, or at least rich enough to live comfortably in some town where they would find amusement and gay companions once more. So they all loaded their father with commissions for jewels and dresses which it would have taken a fortune to buy; only Beauty, feeling sure that it was of no use, did not ask for anything. Her father, noticing her silence, said: "And what shall I bring for you, Beauty?""The only thing I wish for is to see you come home safely," she answered. But this only vexed her sisters, who fancied she was blaming them for having asked for such costly things. Her father, however, was pleased, but as he thought that at her age she certainly ought to like pretty presents, he told her to choose something."Well, dear father," she said, "as you insist upon it, I beg that you w ill bring me a rose. I have not seen one since we came here, and I love them so much."So the merchant set out and reached the town as quickly as possible, but only to find that his former companions, believing him to be dead, had divided between them the goods which the ship had brought; and after six months of trouble and expense he found himself as poor as when he started, having been able to recover only just enough to pay the cost of his journey. To make matters worse, he was obliged to leave the town in the most terrible weather, so that by the time he was within a few leagues of his home he was almost exhausted with cold and fatigue. Though he knew it would take some hours to get through the forest, he was so anxious to be at his journey's end that he resolved to go on; but night overtook him, and the deep snow and bitter frost made it impossible for his horse to carry him any further. Not a house was to be seen; the only shelter he could get was the hollow trunk of a great tree, and there he crouched all the night which seemed to him the longest he had ever known. In spite of his weariness the howling of the wolves kept him awake, and even when at last the day broke he was not much better off, for the falling snow had covered up every path, and he did not know which way to turn.At length he made out some sort of track, and though at the beginning it was so rough and slippery that he fell down more than once, it presently became easier, and led him into an avenue of trees which ended in a splendid castle. It seemed to the merchant very strange that no snow had fallen in the avenue, which was entirely composed of orange trees, covered with flowers and fruit. When he reached the first court of the castle he saw before him a flight of agate steps, and went up them, and passed through several splendidly furnished rooms. The pleasant warmth of the air revived him, and he felt very hungry; but there seemed to be nobody in all this vast and splendid palace whom he could ask to give him something to eat. Deep silence reigned everywhere, and at last, tired of roaming through empty rooms and galleries, he stopped in a room smaller than the rest, where a clear fire was burning and a couch was drawn up closely to it. Thinking that this must be prepared for someone who was expected, he sat down to wait till he should come, and very soon fell into a sweet sleep. When his extreme hunger wakened him after several hours, he was still alone; but a little table, upon which was a good dinner, had been drawn up close to him, and, as he had eaten nothing for twenty-four hours, he lost no time in beginning his meal, hoping that he might soon have an opportunity of thanking his considerate entertainer, whoever it might be. But no one appeared, and even after another long sleep, from which he awoke completely refreshed, there was no sign of anybody, though a fresh meal of dainty cakes and fruit was prepared upon the little table at his elbow. Being naturally timid, the silence began to terrify him, and he resolved to search once more through all the rooms; but it was of no use. Not even a servant was to be seen; there was no sign of life in the palace! He began to wonder what he should do, and to amuse himself by pretending that all the treasures he saw were his own, and considering how he would divide them among his children. Then he went down into the garden, and though it was winter everywhere else, here the sun shone, and the birds sang, and the flowers bloomed, and the air was soft and sweet. The merchant, in ecstasies with all he saw and heard, said to himself:"All this must be meant for me. I will go this minute and bring my children to share all these delights."In spite of being so cold and weary when he reached the castle, he had taken his horse to the stable and fed it. Now he thought he would saddle it for his homeward journey, and he turned down thepath which led to the stable. This path had a hedge of roses on each side of it, and the merchant thought he had never seen or smelt such exquisite flowers. They reminded him of his promise to Beauty, and he stopped and had just gathered one to take to her when he was startled by a strange noise behind him. Turning round, he saw a frightful Beast, which seemed to be very angry and said, in a terrible voice:"Who told you that you might gather my roses? Was it not enough that I allowed you to be in my palace and was kind to you? This is the way you show your gratitude, by stealing my flowers! But your insolence shall not go unpunished." The merchant, terrified by these furious words, dropped the fatal rose, and, throwing himself on his knees, cried: "Pardon me, noble sir. I am truly grateful to you for your hospitality, which was so magnificent that I could not imagine that you would be offended by my taking such a little thing as a rose." But the Beast's anger was not lessened by this speech."Y ou are very ready with excuses and flattery," he cried; "but that will not save you from the death you deserve.""Alas!" thought the merchant, "if my daughter could only know what danger her rose has brought me into!"And in despair he began to tell the Beast all his misfortunes, and the reason of his journey, not forgetting to mention Beauty s request."A king's ransom would hardly have procured all that my other daughters asked." he said: "but I thought that I might at least take Beauty her rose. I beg you to forgive me, for you see I meant no harm."The Beast considered for a moment, and then he said, in a less furious to东德牧羊犬出售 东德牧羊犬出售 csvjxhhhhh。

Beauty and the Beast

Beauty and the Beast

Beauty and the Beast

Neil Armstrong

1Beauty and the Beast by Blackbrin: A Magical Tale of Love and AdventureWow, what an amazing book! "Beauty and the Beast" by Blackbrin is definitely one of the best books I've ever read. It's a classic fairy tale, but this version has such beautiful illustrations and exciting details that make it feel brand new.The story starts off with a young woman named Belle who lives in a little village. Belle is really smart and loves reading more than anything else in the world. All the other villagers think she's really weird because she's always got her nose stuck in a book instead of doing normal village stuff. I can totally relate to Belle on this one - I'm a huge bookworm too and my classmates sometimes tease me about it. But Belle doesn't care what anyone thinks because she's confident in herself and passionate about learning. One day, Belle's father Maurice gets lost in the woods on his way to the fair. He stumbles upon an enchanted castle and picksa rose from the garden, even though an angry Beast who lives there warns him not to. As punishment, the Beast locks up Maurice in a dungeon! When Belle finds out, she bravely goes to the castle to try and free her father. She agrees to stay at the castle as the Beast's prisoner forever in exchange for her father's release. At first, Belle is terrified of the Beast because he looks so scary with his wild fur, horns, and fangs. But as time goes on, she realizes he's actually not as mean as he seems. The Beast gives Belle an amazing library filled with more books than she could read in a lifetime. He turns out to be sophisticated, intelligent, and caring despite his gruff exterior. All the household objects in the castle like Lumiere the candlestick, Cogsworth the clock, Mrs. Potts the teapot, and Chip the teacup are enchanted too and become Belle's friends.Slowly but surely, Belle starts developing feelings for the Beast. She sees his true heart is kind and gentle. I think this shows you can't judge people just based on their appearance - you have to get to know them for who they really are on the inside. The illustrations in this book are just breathtaking. They're so vibrant, detailed, and capture all the magic perfectly. My favoriteis the scene in the ballroom where Belle is dancing with the Beast surrounded by twinkling lights. I can almost hear the elegant music playing as I look at that beautiful picture.Without giving away the ending, let's just say true love conquers all in the end. The Beast's secret is finally revealed in a surprising but heartwarming way. It just goes to show that if you look past the exterior, you can find beauty within.Overall, I adored this book so much. It has everything - an inspiring heroine, a tragic but lovable hero, danger, humor from the enchanted objects, and above all a powerful message about acceptance and true love. The storytelling is excellent, drawing you into this vividly imagined fairy tale world. And the magical illustrations make you feel like you're really there experiencing all the wonders.I'm so glad my teacher read this book to the class. It's opened my eyes to how amazing and impactful a beautifully told story can be. I've probably read "Beauty and the Beast" twenty times already and I know I'll read it over and over again. I highly recommend this book to any other young readers who want to get swept away into an unforgettable adventure. Thanks Blackbrin for creating such a brilliant masterpiece!篇2Beauty and the Beast: A Captivating Tale as Old as TimeOh boy, do I have an exciting book to tell you about! It's called "Beauty and the Beast" and it's an enchanting picture book that has quickly become one of my all-time favorites. With its beautiful illustrations and a story that whisks you away to a magical world, this book is an absolute must-read for kids of all ages. The story begins with a young woman named Belle, who loves reading more than anything else in the world. She's kind, smart, and sees the good in everything around her – even the little town where she lives, which can be pretty boring if you ask me. One day, Belle's father gets lost in the woods and seeks shelter in an enchanted castle owned by a terrifying Beast. As punishment for picking a rose from the castle's garden, the Beast imprisons Belle's father. But don't worry, Belle is as brave as she is beautiful, and she offers to take her father's place as the Beast's prisoner! At first, Belle is understandably scared of the Beast, but as time goes on, she realizes that beneath his scary exterior lies a kind heart. The two form an unlikely friendship, and Belle soonsees past the Beast's physical appearance to the gentle soul within. With the help of the castle's enchanted staff (who have been turned into household objects like clocks and candelabras by a wicked curse), Belle and the Beast grow closer and closer. But their budding romance is threatened by a selfish hunter named Gaston, who wants to marry Belle and become the town's hero by killing the Beast. The stakes are high, and the race is on to break the curse before it's too late! Will Belle and the Beast find true love and live happily ever after? You'll have to read the book to find out! What I really loved about "Beauty and the Beast" were the gorgeous illustrations. The artist did an incredible job of bringing this fairy tale world to life, from the cozy village where Belle lives to the enchanted castle with its talking teacups and dancing furniture. Every page is a feast for the eyes, and I found myself getting lost in the vibrant colors and intricate details. But beyond the beautiful artwork, it's the story itself that truly captured my heart. At its core, "Beauty and the Beast" is a timeless tale about looking past outward appearances and finding the beauty within. It teaches us that true love can blossom in the most unexpected places, and that kindness and compassion are more important than physical attractiveness.I also really admired Belle's bravery and her love for reading and learning. She's a strong, independent heroine who isn't afraid to think for herself and stand up for what she believes in. And even though the Beast seems scary at first, Belle sees the goodness in him and helps him become a better person (or Beast, I should say!).Overall, "Beauty and the Beast" is a magical, heartwarming story that will delight readers of all ages. Whether you're a kid like me or a grown-up who still loves a good fairy tale, this book is sure to enchant you with its captivating characters, stunning illustrations, and powerful message about the true meaning of beauty. So what are you waiting for? Pick up a copy of "Beauty and the Beast" and let this classic tale cast its spell on you. Just be warned – you might find yourself wishing you could live in the enchanted castle with Belle and her Beast! But even if you can't, this book will fill your heart with joy and remind you that true beauty lies within. Happily ever after awaits!篇3Beauty and the Beast - A Magical TaleHi everyone! Today, I want to tell you about this amazing English picture book called "Beauty and the Beast." It's written by Black Plum, a really cool author. This story is all about love, kindness, and looking beyond appearances. Let's dive into the magical world of "Beauty and the Beast"!The story starts with a beautiful girl named Beauty. She is kind, caring, and loves reading books. Beauty's father, Mr. Maurice, gets lost in the forest and stumbles upon a mysterious castle. Inside, he meets a hideous Beast, who becomes furious with him. But Beauty bravely goes to the castle to save her father. Isn't she brave? As the story unfolds, Beauty and the Beast gradually become friends. Even though the Beast looks scary, he has a good heart. He has a magical rose, and if he doesn't find true love before the last petal falls, he will remain a Beast forever. Wow, that sounds so intense! One of the important lessons I learned from this book is that we should never judge someone by their appearance. Beauty teaches us to look beyond what's on the outside and see the goodness inside. When Beauty spends time with the Beast, she realizes that he is not as bad as he looks. It's like a reminder to be kind to everyone, no matter how they look.Another thing I loved about the book is the enchanting castle where the Beast lives. It's full of magical objects like talking teacups, dancing candlesticks, and a friendly clock. Can you imagine having your toys come to life and talk to you? How cool would that be?The story also has a lot of exciting moments. There's a part where Beauty gets lost in the castle and discovers a magical library. As a bookworm myself, I would love to explore a library filled with books from floor to ceiling. It sounds like a dream come true! But the most thrilling part is when the Beast and Beauty finally realize their feelings for each other. Love has the power to transform, and that's what happens to the Beast. He turns into a handsome prince! It's like a fairy tale ending that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside."Beauty and the Beast" is not just a story; it teaches us important values. It shows us that true beauty lies in kindness, love, and acceptance. We should never judge a book by its cover, or in this case, a Beast by its appearance. We should treat everyone with respect and give them a chance to show their true selves.I would recommend this book to all my friends because it's a magical tale that will capture your heart. It's a story that reminds us to be kind, brave, and open-minded. So, grab a copy of "Beauty and the Beast" and let the enchanting journey begin! That's it, my friends! I hope you enjoyed my review of "Beauty and the Beast." Remember, true beauty shines from within, and kindness can truly transform lives. Keep reading and exploring the magical world of books!篇4Beauty and the Beast: A Magical Tale as Old as TimeEver since I was a little kid, I've been obsessed with fairy tales. There's just something so enchanting about those classic stories filled with brave heroes, evil villains, and adorable talking animals. Out of all the fairy tales, my absolute favorite has always been Beauty and the Beast. I just love the themes of looking past outward appearances, being kind to everyone, and finding the beauty within. When I was younger, my mom used to read me the Beauty and the Beast story from this big book of fairy tales we had. But last week, my teacher read our class a different version - the picture book adaptation illustrated by the famous artist Jan Brett. It was honestly the most beautiful book I've ever seen! The elaborate, detailed pictures seemed to jump right off the page. I could get lost for hours just studying all the intricate patterns and little forest creature details in the borders. The story began with the handsome prince living in a magnificent castle in the forest. He led a selfish life, rejecting all who tried to be kind to him and turning away anyone who was unbeautiful on the outside. One wintry night, an old beggar woman came to the castle asking for shelter. Despite her ugly appearance, she offered the shallow prince a rose in exchange for a place to stay. When the prince refused, the beggar's ugliness melted away and she transformed into a beautiful enchantress! The prince tried to apologize, but it was too late - she had seen there was no love in his heart. As punishment, she cast a spell on him, transforming his appearance to match the ugliness in his soul. The prince became a terrifying beast, unrecognizable from his former handsome self. All his servants were transformed too - into household objects like clocks, candelabras, and teapots. Ashamed of his monstrous new form, the Beast concealed himself inside his castle with a magic mirror as his only window to the outside world. The rose the enchantress had offered wastruly an enchanted rose. She gave it to the Beast, telling him that the curse would be broken if he could learn to love another and earn her love in return before the last petal fell. Otherwise, he would be doomed to remain a beast forever. As the years passed, the rose's pedals began to drop, one by one.One day, the Beast's magic mirror showed him a village nearby where a young woman named Belle lived. She was a bookworm who enjoyed reading and exploring the outdoors, but was seen as "odd" by the vain, arrogant townspeople. The Beast became convinced that this Belle was his only hope to break the spell. Using his power, he lured Belle to the castle and took her prisoner, hoping to woo her and make her fall in love with his terrifying beast form.I loved the introduction of Belle in the story. She is such a role model for girls like me who prefer books over dresses or makeup. In the book's illustrations, Belle always has a thoughtful, curious look on her face. At first, she is understandably terrified of her monstrous captor. But the Beast slowly begins to change his beastly ways by showing kindness to Belle. He gives her access to the castle's incredible library, lets her go outside, and even saves her life when they are attacked by wolves in the chilling climax scene. As the months go on, Belle sees the Beast's warm heart and inner beauty that lies beneath his rough exterior. She also becomes good friends with the enchanted staff members like Lumiere the candelabra, Cogsworth the clock, Mrs. Potts the teapot, and her son Chip the teacup. They all help soften Belle to the Beast's true nature while he struggles to control his ferocious temper and selfish behavior. In the most heartbreaking scene, Belle finally admits she is starting to have feelings for the Beast just as the last petal is about to fall from the enchanted rose. Because the Beast has briefly reverted to his old arrogant ways, Belle leaves him still assuming his monstrous form is permanent. The Beast is devastated, thinking all hope is lost. In a heroic gesture of his pure love for Belle, he defies the villainous mob of townspeople to let her go free. This final act of selflessness breaks the curse in a dazzling climax of fireworks and transformation! The Prince and his servants regain their human forms at last, and the castle transforms back to its former glory. There is a tender reunion between Belle and the Prince before the iconic ballroom dance scene, which is breathtakingly rendered in the stunning illustrations. In the end, we see the wise narrator from the book's opening pages, who all along was the enchantresswho cursed the Prince. She reminds us with a smile that beauty is found within, not just in outward appearance.I absolutely loved reading this version of Beauty and the Beast! The pictures were a magical feast for the eyes, while the story delivers such an inspiring message about inner beauty, being kind, and not judging others solely by their looks. I've read it three times already. My favorite parts are definitely the library scenes where Belle and the Beast bond over their shared love of books. I also love the design of Belle's iconic golden ball gown.I think every young girl should read this fairy tale about an intelligent, book-loving heroine who doesn't change who she is for the handsome but boorish Gaston. She follows her heart and sees past the Beast's frightening looks to the true Prince within. It's a great lesson that we shouldn't be shallow and judge people by their appearance. After all, we could be overlooking a beautiful soul and a new friend! The Beast himself goes through an inspiring redemption as he discovers the power of kindness, generosity and learning to curb his selfishness. I feel sorry for him when he's consumed by rage and despair near the end after pushing Belle away - you can really feel his pain on those pages. His transformation is such atriumphant victory showing it's never too late to change for the better.I'd give this book 1000 stars if I could! The sweeping storybook paintings transport you right into the magical world. You feel like you're wandering the charming French village with Belle, tip-toeing through the forbidden west wing of the castle, or dancing the night away in that breathtaking ballroom. The fairy tale themes of hope, persevering through darkness, and finding beauty within pack such a powerful, timeless punch. This is a true classic I'll cherish forever. Move over, princesses - bookish, smart, determined Belle is my new hero!篇5A Magical Tale: Beauty and the BeastHi everyone! Today I want to share with you my thoughts about a wonderful English book I recently read called "Beauty and the Beast." It's a fascinating story that taught me important lessons about love, kindness, and looking beyond appearances. The story begins with a beautiful girl named Belle. She is smart, kind, and loves reading books. Belle's love for books reminded me of myself because I also enjoy reading and learning new things. One day, Belle's life takes a dramatic turn when herfather gets lost in the forest and stumbles upon a mysterious castle.Inside the castle lives a Beast, who was once a handsome prince but was cursed by an enchantress because of his selfishness. The Beast is a scary creature with a gruff voice and a fierce appearance. At first, I was frightened by the Beast, just like Belle was. But as the story unfolds, we both learn that true beauty lies within.Belle's bravery touched my heart. She decides to take her father's place as the Beast's prisoner. In the beginning, Belle is afraid and lonely, but she soon discovers that the Beast is not as scary as he seems. Despite his rough exterior, the Beast iskind-hearted and has a deep love for books, just like Belle. As Belle spends more time with the Beast, they develop a special bond. Their friendship grows, and they start to understand each other better. This part of the story reminded me that we should never judge someone based on their looks. Sometimes, the people who appear scary or different can be the kindest and most caring.Love plays a significant role in "Beauty and the Beast." Belle's love for her father and her willingness to sacrifice herself for him is truly inspiring. The Beast also experiences a transformationthrough the power of love. When Belle professes her love for him, the Beast's appearance changes, and he becomes a handsome prince once again. This story teaches us that true love is about accepting and appreciating someone for who they are, both inside and out. It reminds us that our actions and how we treat others are what define us, not our physical appearance. It's an essential lesson for all of us, no matter our age.The illustrations in the book were captivating and brought the story to life. They made me feel like I was right there with Belle, exploring the enchanting castle and witnessing the magic unfold. The colors were vibrant, and the characters were beautifully drawn. It made reading the book even more enjoyable. In conclusion, "Beauty and the Beast" is a magical tale that touched my heart. It taught me not to judge others based on their appearances and reminded me of the power of love and kindness. I highly recommend this book to all my friends because it has an important message that everyone should hear. Let's remember to look beyond the surface and appreciate the beauty that lies within each and every one of us.I hope you enjoyed my review, and I encourage you to read "Beauty and the Beast" for yourself. Happy reading, everyone!Word count: 459 words篇6Beauty and the Beast: A Lovely Tale as Old as TimeI recently read the picture book version of Beauty and the Beast by Blackbrin. This classic fairy tale has been one of my favorites ever since I was a little kid. Blackbrin's beautiful illustrations breathed new life into the story I know and love. The book starts off by introducing us to the Beast, who was once a selfish and unkind prince. Because of his cruel behavior, a magical enchantress turned him into a terrifying beast as punishment. The only way to break the spell was for the Beast to find true love before the last petal fell from an enchanted rose. If not, he would remain a beast forever. We then meet the protagonist, Belle, who is the most beautiful girl in her small village. However, the villagers think Belle is very odd because of her love for reading books. All the eligible bachelors want to marry Belle because of her good looks, especially the arrogant hunter Gaston. But Belle has no interestin Gaston or any of the other village men. She dreams of living an exciting life filled with adventure, unlike her provincial village life. One day, Belle's father Maurice gets lost in the forest while traveling to the fair to showcase his latest invention. He seeks shelter in the Beast's castle, but the Beast imprisons him for taking a rose from the garden. When Belle finds out, she bravely goes to search for her father. She finds him locked up in the Beast's dungeon and agrees to take his place as the Beast's prisoner in exchange for her father's freedom. At first, Belle is scared and disgusted by the Beast's ugly appearance. But as time goes on, she sees there is more to him than his monstrous exterior. The Beast starts being kinder to Belle, giving her access to the castle's huge library. He even saves her life when they are attacked by a pack of wolves during a walk in the woods.Through spending time together, Belle realizes the Beast is truly gentle and caring despite his ferocious looks. She also discovers the Beast was truly once a human prince who was placed under a spell for his selfishness. Belle begins developing feelings for the Beast, seeing him as her friend.Meanwhile in the village, Gaston becomes increasingly jealous and angry that Belle continues to reject his pursuit ofmarriage. When Maurice tries telling everyone about the Beast holding Belle hostage, Gaston has him locked away, claiming he is insane. Gaston then leads an angry mob to attack the Beast's castle to rescue Belle against her wishes and kill the Beast. The battle ends with the Beast being fatally stabbed while saving Belle's life. Heartbroken after learning the Beast's human form before the spell was broken, Belle finally admits her love for him. This magical expression of true love breaks the spell at the very last minute, transforming the Beast back into the Prince and reviving him. The other castle servants who had been turned into household objects are also transformed back into humans. In the end, Belle gets her wish of adventure by marrying the Prince who was once the Beast.I loved this book so much because it teaches kids that you should never judge someone solely by their appearance. Just because someone looks scary or different on the outside doesn't mean they are truly a bad or evil person on the inside. The Beast seemed like a monster at first, but Belle saw his inner beauty, kindness and intelligence over time. Their love was able to break the spell because Belle looked past the Beast's ugly exterior into his heart and soul. The moral reminds me of how some kids at school are treated as "beasts" and excluded by others just for being different, awkward or unpopular. Just like Belle did with the Beast, we should try to see the inner goodness in everyone, even those who may seem strange or unappealing at first glance. If we show compassion and give them a chance, maybe the "beasts" in our lives aren't so beastly after all.I also loved the suspense and adventure in the story when Gaston leads the villagers to attack the Beast's castle near the end. The action scenes were so exciting and intense! But the most thrilling and emotional part was when the Beast was dying and Belle realized she had fallen in love with him just as the last rose petal fell. I was on the edge of my seat, hoping Belle's love would break the spell in time to save the Beast before it was too late! Phew, true love conquers all!Blackbrin's illustrations were incredible and really brought the characters and settings to life. The images of the Beast were terrifying yet you could see the sadness and loneliness in his。
