Ask each student to write a passage about his / her lucky day or unlucky day.
First, the teacher can tell students the structure of writing a narrative. Then, the teacher can tell students the five elements of narratives. Next, the teacher can let each student to write their own passage.
Exercise 2
There are many ways that the sentences can be written for this activity. Get students to pair up and ask them to come up with five possible answers for each one. Challenge students to think about different scenario and not just change a word or two in all their five sentences.
