In order to enhance students’physical quality, our school organized a “Campus Labor Week”activity.
It was held from May 15th to 19th in our school. Some lectures on labor skills were given on the first day, from which we benefitted a lot. I am very honoured to give the last “One-minute class report” today.
In this semester-long activity, every student participated in it and brought us different fun. This activity not only practiced our spoken English, but also let each of us build up confidence in the process of making the report, which is very beneficial for us. I hope this kind of activity can continue and I suggest that the time of the report should be extended and the topics should be increased, so as to help expand our knowledge.

A Significant V oluntary Activity
Last weekend, our class attended a voluntary activity in a community senior center nearby.
Some of us entertained the elderly by singing Nanyin and doing magic tricks. Others chatted with them. They were overjoyed for our coming and the senior center was full of laughter. Besides, we also taught them how to use smartphones in everyday life, such as showing the health QR code, calling a taxi and making an appointment with the doctor. They were impressed by the convenience
technology brings.
The activity is so meaningful that we all feel rewarded and determined to visit them regularly.
