1. Defuse: The act of disabling the Spike (the bomb) in the Spike Defusal game mode.
2. Spike: The bomb in the Spike Defusal game mode that the attacking team must plant and the defending team must defuse.
3. Plant: The act of planting the Spike in the Spike Defusal game mode.
4. T-side/Attacking side: The team that is responsible for planting the Spike in the Spike Defusal game mode.
5. CT-side/Defending side: The team that is responsible for defusing the Spike in the Spike Defusal game mode.
6. Ping: A measure of the latency or delay between a player's actions and the response from the game servers. A lower ping is generally desired for smoother gameplay.
7. Eco round: A round where a team decides to save their money and not buy expensive weapons or armor, usually after losing a previous round, in order to have a stronger buy in future rounds. 8. Full buy: A round where a team has enough money to buy the best weapons, armor, and utility abilities available.
9. Clutch: When a player is the last surviving member of their team and manages to win the round against multiple opponents.
10. Wallbang: Shooting through a wall or object to hit an enemy on the other side.
11. Rotate: When a player quickly moves from one bombsite to another in response to the enemy team's actions in order to provide support or defend the other site.
12. Entry fragger: A player who specializes in getting the first kill or "entry frag" when attacking a bombsite.
13. AWPer: A player who specializes in using the sniper rifle (AWP) to pick off enemies from long distances.
14. Utility: Refers to the various throwable abilities and gadgets that agents can use, such as smokes, flashes, and molotovs.
15. Overtime: Additional rounds played when both teams reach the maximum number of rounds required to win a game without a clear winner.
16. Headshot: A shot to the head, which usually results in an instant kill.
17. Healer/Support: A player who picks an agent with healing or supportive abilities, such as Sage or Sova.
18. Fake/Feint: A strategy where a team fakes an attack on one bombsite to draw the defenders away, while actually executing their main attack on the other bombsite.
19. Jiggle peek: A quick peek out from cover and immediately back behind it to bait out enemy shots or gather information. 20. Four-man stack/Five-man stack: A strategy where four or all five players on a team move and attack or defend a specific area or bombsite together.。
