解析：描述一个饭店，典型的地点题，在我们的例题讲解中，曾将这个话题与café进行对比，它们的差异基本也就是限于所提供的食物不一样，这边我们只需将café所提供的食物由咖啡跟甜点换成菜肴即可，那么菜肴我们又可以结合所说过的食物话题，总之你准备过café跟food这两个话题，这个题目对你来说不过就是a snap了。

OK, speaking of a crowded place I have ever been to, I guess I'd like to talk about my favorite restaurant in my hometown. You know, it is not a star restaurant which serves very expensive and luxurious food, instead, it is pretty cozy, and only offers home-made cuisine. However I am really into this small cozy restaurant, probably because every time I have dinner there, the tasty food always makes me feel like I was having my mother's cooking. Although I work in another city now, once I come back home, I suppose I'd like to go to that restaurant to have the daily special dishes with my family or friends for reunions.
Talking about what kind of food the restaurant serves, I'd like to add here is that the menu of this restaurant is also a special feature. You know, the owner of the restaurant buys the fresh ingredients like green vegetables and meat every morning, and then she will write the menu on a board according to the ingredients she has every day. I suppose that would be one of the extremely important reasons why the small restaurant enjoys such a superb reputation and a large number of followings. Besides, the dim sum made by the great cook is also highly recommended, so you can have some when you are waiting for your dishes. The last point, the clean table cloths and the neatly-set tables make the customers feel comfortable and cheerful. And the owners are quite pleasant and helpful. You can always count on them.

生动物，大家能想到的应该还是有一些的，比如大熊猫、丹顶鹤、羚羊等等，最为人熟知的肯定就是大熊猫了，为了避免千篇一律都说大熊猫太单调了，大家可以在描述中加入自身的经历，比如如何来了解到大熊猫，参观动物园里的大熊猫或者大熊猫栖息地等事件，这样描述起来也更加真实。

Speaking of an interesting wild animal in my country, I’d like to describe the giant panda which is commonly known as the national symbol and treasure of China. I heard that a giant panda normally weighs about 200 pounds. To support its size, it must eat lots of bamboo shoots or something like this, however many bamboo forests have been destroyed, so the giant panda as an endangered species now mostly lives in the protected nature reserves in Western China. Actually I visited the Panda Habitat in Chengdu 2 years ago while I was travelling in Sichuan Province. You know I was told a lot about giant panda when I was a child, I only saw it in the pictures. So that was my first time to see the real giant pandas. I was totally amaze and happy to have a one-day tour of the pandas’ habitat which included lectures from conservation experts. There is no doubt that I also took a host of photos there, and now they always remind me of the memory there.
I guess the reason why I like this animal is that most Chinese people feel some sense of patriotism towards the giant panda because it is widely recognized the Chinese animal.

Well, speaking of a popular product made in China, I would like to describe my Xiaomi mobile phone. You know, Xiaomi mobile phone is only sold in the way of

Well, lots of my friend use iPhone or Samsung, which are famous international brands, but in my mind, Xiaomi is the best. First of all, the price is reasonable. Compared to iPhone, which is sold in high price -- over 5000 yuan, the price of Xiaomi is fairly affordable as a smart phone. In addition, it’s thin, fast and pretty. The operating system is super user-friendly. I felt comfortable with it. I can also use my Xiaomi mobile phone to watch SOHU videos, and the image quality is amazing!
It comes with so many features but it’s not cumbersome at all. I can easily slip it into my pocket. By the way, as a phone, its call and reception quality is perfect. And I can even make video calls.

Well, speaking of a busy time, I'd like to talk about one horrible morning. You know, it was the first time I traveled alone. So the day before I started off, my mother reminded me that the weather report said it was going to rain the next day; I need to pack my suitcase in advance and leave for the airport earlier.
But the day before I start off was my best friend's wedding ceremony, and I was her maid of honor. So during the ceremony, I had to accompany the bride to change four wedding dresses and complete the whole ceremony. When I came back home, It was already midnight, and I was too tired, so I fell into sleep rather than packing my suitcase. Unfortunately, I forgot to set the alarm. Therefore, I got up late and everything got in a real mass. I only took a few clothes, totally forgot my make-up, mobile phone charger, even my ID, then packed my suitcase in a hurry. What's worse, due to the heavy rain, I suffered from the traffic jam, and got to the airport one hour later, which made me miss my plane.

Guess what, even the simplest dish, I still felt so complicated. Firstly, I cut th ree tomatoes into small pieces. Secondly, after cracking the eggs, I had to whi sk the eggs with chopsticks. Then stir-fry eggs with oil. You should add tomat oes into the pan immediately after eggs were done. What's more, you should mix them and stir-fry for a while, and don't forget to season with some salt a nd sugar. Well, finally, you could serve the dish.
You know, when I had my own dish, I felt so satisfied and proud, even if the appearance and flavor were not so appetizing. However, completing a difficult task could really boost your confidence and self-esteem.

In my hometown there's a newly-built botanical park in which an artificial lak e can be found. Actually, my hometown, gaochun, is one of the ecological cou nties in Nanjing, so the botanical park and the artificial lake are kind of land marks and all the locals are proud of it.
The botanical park is totally free for everybody, and actually there is a large g rassy field beside the lake with a lot of exercising facilities on it. Besides, ma ny boats are also available for renting in the lake. That’s why my parents alw ays take me there and go for a walk to unwind after dinner.
I suppose my parents fancy there because it is a great place for exercising, that's true. But I have more reasons. You know, the gorgeous scenery of the lake in the sunset, the feeling of the soft wind blowing from the lake and the smelling of the fresh grass around the park, all of these explain why I love this place. Besides, I should say that the place get people closer to nature, and probably provides a peaceful area that locals can loosen up. It's especially important for me. I was once so stressful for a long period of time preparing for the university entrance examination. Every morning when I got up, I was unhappy with an upsetting face, looking at everything around me in an unfriendly way. However, only a short walk there just like it got me out of depression. I really appreciated that. That’s why I like there.

这道新题跟之前的science lesson有点不同，但是2013年还有道题叫做Describe a
subject you did not like, 这道题其实是可以跟今年的新题套用的。

尽管后面的方向不太一样，一个是可以给别人介绍点信息，一个是你不太喜欢的，但是前面subject这一项是同一个概念的。

这里要跟大家说明一下，subject和course是两个不同的概念，subject指的是科目，比如数学，英语，生物，物理等等，但是course是课程，也可以说是一堂课，比如一堂生物实验课，一堂心理学课等等。

思路就是根据题卡上的小问题来。

Talking about a cartoon character, I want to say the little mermaid from Hans Christian Anderson, a famous Danish fairy tales writer.

In order to be with the prince everyday, she has to own human’s legs first that can make her walk normally, so the little mermaid trades her beautiful voice for the human’s legs with the sea witch. But the horrible thing is that if the prince marries someone else, the little mermaid will have to either kill the prince to keep alive or die and become foams on the sea. Unfortunately, the prince decides to get married and the bridge is not the mermaid.
