On March 26, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs(MFA) worked out a draft for regulations( 条例 ) on consular protection and assistance ( 领事保护与辅助), the Xinhua News Agency reported. The draft says that those who insist on (坚持) traveling to dangerous places without considering warnings given by the MFA will not be able

In fact, this is a commoninternational practice,People’s Daily said.Countries like the US, UK and Canada have similar regulations.

You probably already know about most of the organs ( 器官 ) in your body. Your heart, lungs and brain are some of the most important ones. But have you heard of the
“interstitium( 间质 ) ”? Probably not – that ’s because it could be
a newfound “organ ”.
The interstitium is a network of spaces in between your skin and
your organs. The spaces are filled with fluid (液体). The organ was
discovered by Neil Theise and several other doctors at the New York
University Langone School of Medicine.Theise has described it as an“open, fluid-filled highway (高速公路)” inside our bodies.
Scientists didn ’t find interstitium for years. This is because of the way scientists typically study human body tissue (组织). They treat tissue samples (样本 ) with chemicals and look at the samples under a microscope (显微镜). But the chemicals they use would cause the interstitium to collapse (崩溃).
The researchers discovered these fluid-filled spaces by using a new imaging technique (成像技术). This technique allows them to examine living tissue on a
microscopic level.
Interstitium is present throughout almost our entire body, according to a National Geographic report. Theise said the organ may be where lymph (淋巴液) comes from, a fluid that helps our immune system (免疫系统) fight disease. Studying the organ
further could give researchers clues about how diseases like cancer spread through
the body.
Some people have doubted Theise’s findings. But he still sounds open-minded.
“There’s always going to be stuff we haven’t seen before that we don’t know,”he was quoted as saying in the National Geographic report.
25. The story is mainly about _________.
A. an organ that was recently discovered
B.the way scientists study the human body
C. chemicals that can damage the interstitium
D. methods to cure diseases like cancer
26. What does the underlined word“it” refer to in Paragraph 2?
A. Intersitium.
B. Skin.
C. Network.
D. Fluid.
27.How did researchers discover the new organ?
A.They used chemicals to treat tissue samples.
B.They used a new microscope to examine the human body.
C.They used a new technique to examine living tissue.
D. They drew clear pictu res of tissue samples.
28.Why might this discovery be important?
A.Because it helped doctors solve a mystery about the human body.
B.Because it inspired a new imaging technique.
C.Because it will tell us where lymph comes from.
D.Because it could help with the study of diseases.

As an internet influencer, there seems to be nothing special about
Miquela Sousa. The 19-year-old lives in Los Angeles, US, posts pictures
of herself sporting fashionable looks, and has just made her way into the
March edition of Vogue magazine. But Miquela isn’t real–she is a
computer-generated character.
Her fans don’t seem to mind – she has 855,000 followers on US social
networking platform Instagram. And her first single Not Mine–yes, she“sings”too–also reached No 8 on music streaming (流媒体) platform Spotify last August.
It is kind of curious that in a time when authenticity( 真切性 ) and “being real ”are valued more than ever,“fake” celebrities like Miquela are appreciated and seen as icons (偶像).
Perhaps th e reason for Miquela’s popularity lies behind the fame of a similar
star, Hatsune Miku. This 16-year-old animated singer from Japan has held singing
concerts not only in her home country but also in the US and China.
Even though Hatsune ’s no more than a 3-D figure projected (投射) onto the stage, her fans are more than willing to pay to actually see her“in person”, because to them, she ’s better than human singers.
“She’s rather more like a goddess: She has human parts, but she transcends (超
越 ) human lim itations. She’s the great post- human pop star,” wrote reporter James Verini on Wired magazine.
Critics may say that 3-D stars could never replace the authenticity of humans,
but when it comes to being authentic, are humans really the best example of how to
do it?
Most of us edit our photos before posting them online, and we tend to create a
fantasy that we’re living a perfect life by letting people only see the brighter
side of it.
“Miquela is no less real to me than any other internet stranger with whom I’ve interacted, ” wrote reporter Leora Yashari on the website Nylon.“Her existence in itself represents a new breed (种类) of influencer–someone who is breaking the boundaries (界线) of what is real and what is fake.”
29. Who is Miquela Sousa?
A. She ’s a life-like character with musical talents.
B. She ’s a new sports star with fashionable looks.
C. She ’s an experienced singer with thousands of fans.
D. She ’s an animated figure created by a Japanese company.
30. Why did the author mention Hatsune Miku?
A. To show the similarities 3-D stars share.
B. To make a comparison with Miquela Sousa.
C. To explain why 3-D stars are well received.
D. To stress how 3-D stars go beyond human limitations.
31. What can be concluded from the last two paragraphs?
A. 3-D stars could match the authenticity of humans one day.
B. Animated celebrities are not as real as human celebrities.
C. Human celebrities have greater influence than animated ones.
D. 3- D stars ’ public personalities may be just as authentic as humans’.

It ’s a land where winter darkness is long, and summers bring continuous sunlight.
However, people are very happy in Finland, despite the country ’s
natural challenges. Last month, the nation was named the happiest
on Earth, according to the 2018 World Happiness Report released by
the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network.
The Finns certainly have a high range of happiness, Eric Weiner
wrote in his 2008 book The Geography of Bliss.
Ther e’s a stereotype ( 刻板印象) that Finns are introverted ( 内向的 ) and shy, because they often stay silent. But in fact, “for Finns, it is extremely rude to
interrupt someone. This leads to us making pauses ( 停留 ) or taking our time to talk ”, Krista Huhtala-jenks, a senior officer at Finland ’s Minist ry of Transport and Communications, explained to CNN.
Perhaps Finland ’s love for heavy metal music and tango reveals the country ’s
true personality, however. Indeed, young Finns love heavy metal, while tango remains a huge part of Finnish culture for the older generation. The passionate dance started
in Argentina, but it ’s Finland that became the tango capital of the world. Every
July, the Finnish town of Seinajoki draws thousands of people from all over the world to a four-day tango festival. During the festival, a tango king and queen are chosen. Another trademark (特点) of Finnish culture is the sauna ( 桑拿 ). According to CNN, the nation has about 3.5 million saunas – roughly one for every 1.6 people. And 99 percent of Finns take at least one sauna a week, BBC News reported.
In Finns ’ eyes, saunas are closely related to well -being. For example, if a person gets sick, he or she will take a sauna. Many women also prefer to give birth in a
sauna, because “the walls of traditional smoke s aunas were lined with naturally bacteria-resistant soot ( 抑菌的煤烟灰 ), making them the cleanest room in the house”, BBC News noted.
Medical benefits aside, the sauna is also seen as a place to collect your thoughts. “Sauna is for your mind. It really helps you to calm down in a modern society where
it is never qui et, ” Jarmo Lehtola from the Finnish Sauna Society, told BBC News.
“If somebody wants to understand what it is to be a Finn, they have to understand
what a sauna is. If you do not experience sauna, you do not experience Finland.”
32. According to Huhtala-jenks, why do Finns often remain silent?
A. They are too introverted to talk.
B. They prefer to take time to
think.
C. They have plenty of time for conversation.
D. They believe it ’s impolit e to interrupt others.
33. How does the author show the sauna’s popularity in Finland?
A. By giving examples.
B. By raising questions.
C. By presenting data.
D. By making a comparison.
34. How do Finns believe saunas benefit people?
A. They help people to recover from cancer.
B.They can reduce the pain of giving birth.
C. They help people keep a peaceful mind.
D. They’re a good place to look for
inspirati on.
35. What ’s the author’s main purpose in writing the article?
A. To explore the interesting history of Finland.
B.To introduce some aspects of Finnish culture.
C. To study Finns ’ true personality.
D. To show Finlands ’s love for saunas.
