Dear Mrs. Thompson,
I hope you are having a wonderful day! My name is Emily, and I'm one of the students in your 3rd grade class. I'm writing to you today to invite you to a very special event that's coming up. Would you pretty please come and be the guest of honor? I really hope you can make it!
The event I'm talking about is the Annual Parent-Teacher Appreciation Luncheon at our school. It's happening next Friday, April 28th, from 11am to 1pm in the school cafeteria. Every year, we students and our families get together to say thank you to all the amazing teachers at Oakwood Elementary for everything you do for us. There's going to be a huge lunch spread with all sorts of delicious foods, plus games, activities, and performances put on by us kids.
I was chosen by my classmates to write you this invitation because, well, you're my favorite teacher ever! You make learning so much fun with all your energy, creativity, and
kindness. I'll never forget that time we did the science experiment where we built miniature volcanos and made them "erupt" with baking soda and vinegar. Or when we acted out scenes from fairy tales in our awesome costumes you helped us make. You have a way of making even the hard subjects seem interesting and easy to understand.
Not only that, but you truly care about each and every one of your students. You always take the time to listen to us, offer encouragement, and make sure we feel supported both in the classroom and in life. Like when my dog Buster passed away last year, you gave me a big hug and reminded me to hold onto the happy memories we shared. Or when Jacob struggled with reading, you stayed after school to work with him until he felt confident. You go above and beyond, and that means so much.
So for this luncheon, we students have all pitched in to make it extra special for you and the other teachers. My mom is baking her famous triple chocolate brownies for the dessert table. Jayden's dad owns that pizza place downtown, and he's bringing tons of slices with all the toppings we love. We'll have a
locally-sourced salad bar, too, with veggies from Sandy's family farm. And those are just a few of the many delicious dishes that will be there!
For entertainment, we've prepared some fun surprises! A group of us are going to perform a short play we wrote ourselves about a magic school for teachers. Kate is going to demonstrate some amazing science experiments like making slime and building a baking soda and vinegar rocket. And all the classes have made hand-made cards and artworks to give you as gifts to show our gratitude. I made you a special painting of a beach scene since I know the ocean is your favorite.
We'll also have tables set up where you can make personalized pottery pieces, decorate cupcakes, or get temporary tattoos and face paintings done by us students! There's going to be music from our school band and plenty of games and activities to enjoy while we all eat and mingle. A few parents have volunteered to run fun competitions with prizes, too. It's going to be such a blast!
More than anything, though, this day is our chance to let you know how thankful we are for everything you do. You pour your heart into teaching us, nurturing us, believing in us, and helping us grow. You make our school feel like a second home and a safe, happy place to learn and explore our curiosities. We appreciate you more than words can say!
So please, say you'll come to the luncheon and let us shower you with love and gratitude! We want to make it the best day ever for the best teacher ever. You deserve to be celebrated for your kindness, patience, wisdom, and commitment to kids like me. I'll be counting down the days until April 28th, excited to give you the biggest hug and express how lucky I feel to be your student.
Thank you for all you do, Mrs. Thompson! I hope to see you at the luncheon.
Your proud student,
Emily

Dear Mrs. Thompson,
I hope this letter finds you well! My name is Timmy, and I'm one of your third-grade students. I'm writing to you today with a very special invitation.
You see, every year our school holds a big celebration called the "Teach-a-Rama" where we honor our amazing teachers. It's a fun day filled with games, activities, food, and most importantly,
a chance for us students to show you educators how much we appreciate everything you do for us.
This year, I've been chosen by my classmates to be the master of ceremonies for the big event! I was so excited when they picked me. Being the MC is a huge responsibility, but I'm going to work really hard to make sure it's the best
Teach-a-Rama ever.
The celebration is happening next Saturday from 10am to 4pm on the school playground and fields. We've got a ton of cool stuff planned! In the morning, there will be a teacher talent show where you can show off any hidden skills you might have. Maybe you can juggle or do magic tricks? Or perhaps you're a secretly an amazing dancer? Whatever your talent is, we want you to wow us!
After the talent show, we'll have a series of fun games and competitions that teachers and students will compete in together. The games are still a secret, but I can tell you they involve things like water balloons, egg tosses, and a massive game of tug-of-war! I'm not allowed to give away too many details, but just know you'll need to bring a change of clothes because things could get a little messy!
For lunch, we've hired a food truck to come and cook up all kinds of delicious treats. They'll have burgers, hot dogs, veggie wraps, and more. And of course, no celebration is complete without dessert – the parents have been hard at work baking hundreds of cookies, cupcakes, pies, and other sweet goodies for us to enjoy.
In the afternoon, we'll have a student vs. teachers kickball game. The kickball game is always the highlight of
Teach-a-Rama! The teams are highly competitive and the games can get pretty intense, but it's all in good fun. Last year, the teachers managed to pull off an upset victory against the students. This year, we're determined to get our revenge! I'm trying to keep this a surprise, but let's just say the students have been secretly training to ensure victory.
After the kickball game, we'll have an awards ceremony where students will get to give out amusing awards and superlative titles to their favorite teachers. Categories include things like "Most Likely to Be Caught Rapping at Their Desk" and "Teacher with the Coolest Sneaker Game." It's all just a goofy way for us to celebrate the amazing educators you all are.
Finally, we'll wrap up the night with a teacher appreciation dance party! We've hired a DJ to spin all the latest hits, and we'll
have lights, decorations, and even a photo booth to capture the fun memories. I can't dance very well, but I'm practicing my moves so I can boogie down with you all!
So, what do you think, Mrs. Thompson? Will you be able to join us for this year's Teach-a-Rama celebration? It's going to be a day filled with nonstop laughter, silliness, and making wonderful memories with your favorite students. We love you so much and want to make sure you feel extra appreciated on this special day.
Please RSVP and let me know if you'll be able to attend. I really hope you can make it because it just wouldn't be the same without our favorite third grade teacher there!
Your Pal,
Timmy
P.S. Feel free to spread the word and invite any other teachers you think would enjoy the festivities too! The more educators we can celebrate, the better.

Dear Mrs. Johnson,
I hope this letter finds you well! My name is Timmy and I am
a 3rd grade student at Oakwood Elementary School. I am writing to you today with a very special invitation.
You see, next month is Teacher Appreciation Week at our school. Every year, we celebrate our amazing teachers who work so hard to help us learn and grow. This year, my class has decided to put together a special event just for you! We would be incredibly honored if you would join us.
On Friday, May 12th, we will be hosting an "Appreciation Afternoon Tea" in your honor. We have been busily preparing all sorts of fun activities and tasty treats. The whole afternoon will be dedicated to showering you with thanks and letting you know how truly amazing you are.
The festivities will begin at 1:30pm in our classroom. When you arrive, you'll be greeted by a tunnel of cheering students waving pom-poms and noisemakers to welcome you in style! Then, we'll escort you to the front of the room where you'll have a special throne to sit on. Yes, that's right - a real throne! We made it ourselves out of cardboard boxes, aluminum foil, and lots of glitter. You deserve to be treated like royalty for a day.
Once you are seated on your shimmering throne, the performances will begin. We have been rehearsing singing your favorite songs, reciting poems we've written about you, and preparing silly skits about all the wonderful things you do for us each day. Josh has even been working on a special magic show just for you! He's been practicing his card tricks and illusions for weeks.
After the performances, it will be time for the tea party itself. We'll bring out a lovely table set for you with a crisp linen tablecloth, fancy china dishes, and a fresh bouquet of flowers from the school garden. You'll be able to sample an assortment of delicious tea sandwiches, bite-sized pastries, and of course, plenty of refreshing iced tea. The room will be decorated with colorful streamers and balloons galore!
While you enjoy your treats, we'll go around the circle one by one to share our favorite memories from your class this year. We'll talk about all the fun projects we worked on, the engaging lessons you taught, and how you always knew just how to make us laugh when we needed it most. We want you to know how much you mean to each and every one of us.
Then, we'll have a very special surprise for you at the end. We can't give away too many details, but let's just say it involves a video slideshow of pictures from throughout the year set to music! You'll definitely need to have a few tissues handy for that one.
Mrs. Johnson, you are the most caring, patient, and hardworking teacher we know. You put your whole heart into your job each and every day to create a warm, nurturing classroom where we feel safe to take risks and explore our curiosities. We see how tirelessly you work, going above and beyond to give us the best possible learning experience. You have instilled a true love of learning in all of us.
This Appreciation Afternoon Tea is our chance to return the favor and shower you with love and gratitude. We hope you'll accept our invitation to join us on May 12th. We can't wait to celebrate you!
Your Adoring Students,

Dear Mrs. Clark,
I hope you are having a wonderful day! My name is Timmy and I am a student in your 4th grade class at Oakwood Elementary School. I am writing to you today to invite you to a very special event that my family and I are hosting. Let me tell you all about it!
Every year, my parents organize a big Summer Kickoff Barbecue at our house to celebrate the start of summer vacation. We invite all of our friends, neighbors, and other special people in our lives to join us for an afternoon of fun, food, and games. This year, the barbecue will be held on Saturday, June 10th from 12pm to 5pm.
I really want you to come because you are my favorite teacher ever! You make learning so much fun and you are always so kind and patient with me and the rest of the class. I have
learned so much from you this year in all of our subjects like math, reading, science, and more. Whenever I don't understand something, you take the time to explain it in a way that makes sense to me. You never make me feel bad about asking questions.
At the barbecue, we will have all sorts of delicious foods for you to enjoy. My dad is an amazing grill master and will be cooking up juicy hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken skewers, and veggie kabobs. My mom always makes her famous potato salad, baked beans, and coleslaw too. For dessert, we'll have a lot of sweet treats like cookies, brownies, popsicles, and my favorite - s'mores! You can roast your own marshmallows over the fire pit in our backyard. Doesn't that sound yummy?
But the barbecue isn't just about the food - there will be a ton of fun activities and games too! We are going to have a huge inflatable obstacle course set up on our lawn. I can't wait to go bouncing through it and see if I can beat you! We'll also have water balloon tosses, three-legged races, a dunk tank, and other competitions with cool prizes. Every year, the adults and kids get really competitive during the games. It's hilarious to watch!
One of my favorite parts is always the annual family talent show we put on. My cousins and I have been working on a magic
act to perform this year. I'm not going to tell you what tricks we'll be doing - you'll have to come see for yourself! But I would love for you to get up on stage and show off a talent or skill of your own too. Maybe you could read a poem, tell some jokes, or even sing a song! I bet you have an amazing hidden talent.
I really hope you can make it to our Summer Kickoff Barbecue, Mrs. Clark. It just wouldn't be the same without you there. You are such an important part of my life and I want to celebrate the start of summer break with you! My whole family is so grateful for everything you do as my teacher. This barbecue is just a small way for us to say thank you for all of your hard work.
Please let me know if you can come or if you have any other questions. You can ask my parents if you need any other details. I will be waiting eagerly for your response!
Your Student,
Timmy。
