Last Sunday, my sister and I walked through the town we lived in. It was a sunny day. We talked about our school life happily when we walked around. Then we saw a short and thin woman walking slowly with a big box. The box was too big and heavy for her. People who passed by didn't stop to help her.
My sister said, “Let's go and help that woman.” Without thinking, I said OK. Then we moved the box
to her car. The woman parked her car in front of the supermarket, about 10 minutes' walk down the road. She was so happy and she thanked us a lot. You could see the happiness on her face. She told us that there were many story books in the box. The books were all for her students. Then she took out two story books from the box and sent them to us. We were happy to help, but we didn't take the story books.
We didn't spend much time. It didn't take anything out of our day, either. Those few minutes made our day better. It was the best time we had — helping a person in need.

Our reporter asked people what they were doing on July 20th, 1969 when man first walked on the moon. Here is what they said:
Kate Jones, waitress. I remember that day very well. I was fifteen years old. It was a hot and humid day, and I was with my family in the mountains. We were having a picnic. We didn’t see the moon land ing when it happened, but we were thinking about it. We saw it later on the TV news.
John Bates, postman. I was eighteen years old. It was a very exciting day. I was watching TV at home
when the astronauts walked on the moon. One of the astronauts was Neil Armstrong. I remember he could jump really high because people aren’t so heavy on the moon. When he returned, he became a national hero in America, and famous all over the world.
Paul Robinson, doctor. I was twelve. I remember the day, but I don’t remem ber what I was doing. I remember I wanted to go to the moon, too. My dream was to bee an astronaut and fly in a rocket. I wanted to see the earth from the moon. The astronauts on the moon said that the earth looked very beautiful from there.
Linda Brown, clerk. I was working that day. I was twenty then. I didn’t see the men land on the moon because I was busy. Of course I know about it. I read about it in the newspaper the next day. I thought it was amazing. Maybe one day people will travel to the moon for vacations!
Mark Green, teacher. I was only seven years old then. My parents talked about it, and I learned about it later in school, but I don’t remember the day. I was too young to remember. Maybe I was having fun in the playground with my friends when it happened.

八、阅读回答问题
Qi Xinghua(齐兴华)is a street artist. He describes himself as “China’s first 3D artist”. He uses his skills to turn walls in Chinese cities into amazing works of art.
Qi started painting 3D street art in 2010. He is most famous for his work Lions Gate Gorge(《狮门峡谷》), the world’s largest 3D floor painting. Its 3D effect is s o strong that some people who stand on the painting even feel dizzy.
But most of Qi’s street art does not last long. He faces many difficulties. Sometimes, his paintings are covered by advertisements; other times, his work is not allowed by the local government because painting on public walls is not accepted. Once he painted a crocodile on a broken redbrick wall in Beijing. He spent one night making the wall more beautiful. “I hope to show that what’s broken can also be made interesting.
A city needs its tattoos(文身)”, said Qi.
