As the sun broke through the morning mist, I embarked on a journey that would not only change the lives of those I was to help but also leave an indelible mark on my own. My volunteer journey began with a simple desire to give back to the community, but it evolved into a profound experience of personal growth and understanding.
The first stop on my journey was a local orphanage, where I spent my weekends teaching English to children who were eager to learn. Their eyes sparkled with curiosity and enthusiasm, and it was a joy to see them grasp new concepts with each passing lesson.
