StepⅠ. Warming up and revision
1. Greet the Ss as usual.
2. Review the words of subjects and days.
3.Free talk about the students’favorite subject.Ss work in pairs to make their own conversations. Let some pairs act out their conversations.
T: What's your favorite subject, S1?
S1: My favorite subject is music?
T: Why do you like music?
S1: Because it's interesting.
T: Who is your music teacher?
S1: Ms. Sun.
4.Describe a picturein English to practice their spoken English.
StepⅡ. Presentation
1. Present some new adjectives, free, cool
Show some pictures about the words and teach the Ss to read them. Then review the words: boring, difficult, easy, interesting, fun
2.Present other days in a week. Show some pictures of calendar. Teach Ss Tuesday,
Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday.
Ss read after the teacher and remember the days in a week.
(Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Friday and Sunday)
3. Let Ss enjoy an English song (Sunday Monday Tuesday...)
4. Work on 1a. Match the words on the left with their opposites on the right. Then check the answers. Ss read the words after the teacher, then, try to remember the words.
