Unit 8 Have you Read Treasure Island?
一.教学目标:
1.Knowledge aims:
1) Words and Expressions: treasure, island, adventure, wonderland, already, yet, hear of.
2) Grammar: The present perfect tense
2. Ability aims:
1) Enable students to learn about six classic books.
2) Enable students to get to know the present perfect tense.
3) Enable students to talk about books and express their opinions of books.
3. Moral objectives:
Cultivate a good reading habit to enrich students’knowledge and broaden their horizon.
二、学情分析
学生已经学习了一般时态和过去时态,在此基础上,借助数轴来表现不同时间和时态,并介绍新的时态:现在完成时态。

三、重点难点
Key points:
e listening strategy to help students finish listening
tasks.
e the present perfect tense to describe a book and an activity.
Difficulties:
1.It’s a little bit difficult for students to pronounce some titles of books.
2.It’s a little bit difficult for students to master the present perfect tense in the first class.

4.1 第一学时
4.1.1 教学活动
活动1. 导入warming-up
1.Daily greetings.
2.Book sharing: Would you like to share your favorite book or chapter? Why do you like it?
设计意图:
1.师生互动交流吸引学生的注意力,预热课堂。

2.通过书本、章节阅读分享,引起学生的兴趣,并引出本课中出现的六本书。

在此次过程中,学生发表自己对于该书、章节的观点,为本文听力奠定基础。

活动2. Pre-listening
1.Present faces of six books and introduce new words in
it.
2.Observe faces of six books to grasp key words.
设计意图:通过观察图书封皮,试着猜测并抓取关键词,帮助学生在听力过程中获取信息。

活动3. While-listening
1.Listen as a whole to get the brief introduction to each book by understanding the key words.
2.Listen in detail and fill in the blanks.
3.Listen to finish the task of 1b to complete the chart.
4.Group work:小组讨论听力填空每部分的最后一句话有何共同点。

设计意图:
1)以6本书简介为听力基础,让学生对6本书有简单的认识。

2)随后设计听力填空,与中考题型对接。

3)在此基础上,完成任务1b。

4)通过观察听力材料中的标红句子,引出现在完成时态。

活动4:Post-listening
1)Read the conversation in 1c and try to make a new one by using “Have```read/heard of``”
2)Read the conversation on PPT and try to make a new
one by using “Has``` read/ heard of```”
设计意图:通过做对话了解现在完成时态,同时达到听、说结合的目的。

活动5:Sum-up
Present three well-known saying to complete the class. 设计意图:深化文本内涵,体现阅读价值。

活动6:Homework
Preview 2a to 2d.。
