Unit 12 Don’t eat in class. 教学设计
【学情分析】:学生已经掌握了情态动词can的用法,为本章祈使句和情态动词must的引入打下了一定的基础。

同时学生之前已经学过校园及家庭生活的一些日程安排的词汇,为本章开展校园及家庭规则的描述积累了词汇。

教师在课堂设计时应发挥其优势,设计有趣的课堂任务引导学生进行自主学习和语言实践,渗透学法指导并引导学生逐步养成良好的英语学习习惯。

【教学目标】:
●语言目标:
1. 通过本课的学习,学生能掌握本课重点词汇:rule, arrive, hall, listen, sorry, outside, fight, wear.学生能初步口头掌握祈使句:Don’t run in the hallways. / We can’t run in the hallways. Don’t eat in the classroom./ We can’t eat in the classroom. Don’t listen to music in class. / We can’t listen to music in class. 并能运用目标语言谈论校规。

2. 通过本课的学习,学生能基本听懂含有本课重点词汇和目标语言的听力材料。

●情感目标:通过本课的学习,学生能理解遵守规则是每个学生的义务。

【教学重难点】:
●重点:学生学会使用:
1. 重点词汇:rule, arrive, hall, listen, sorry, outside, fight, wear.
2. 重点句型:Don’t eat in class. We can’t wear a hat in class.
3. 语言结构:(1)祈使句;(2)情态动词can表示请求的用法。

难点:1.can表示请求的用法。

2.must表示命令或建议的用法。

【课时安排】1课时
【课前准备】课本、多媒体课件、视频材料、教案。

【教学方法】任务型教学法。

【教学过程】
【新课导入】
Step 1: Lead-in
Before class, the teacher divide the students into two groups, the boys are in a group and the girls are in the other group.
【新知呈现】
Step 2: Presentation
The teacher shows the old saying “ We can’t rule a country without rules.” Get the students to talk about what kind of rules there are.
The teacher play a video, the students watch the video and talk about “ How many rules do they break?” and “What are they?” Teach the students the meaning of “Don’t…; make sure they know the meaning of “Don’t ….
Teach the new sentences:
Don’t eat in the class room.
Don’t arrive late for class.
……
(Read the phrases over and over again until the students can speak out them fluently.)
Ask the students to look at the pictures in 1a and write the number of the rule next to the students.
(设计意图:先对学生进行否定祈使句Don’t …的句型导入,使学生掌握描述规则的基本句型。

通过完成1a任务,进一步熟悉校规,并通过图片辅助巩固新功能句型否定祈使句Don’t …,为新知学习作铺垫。

Step 3: Listening 1b
Before listening
The students read the rules in 1a.
While listening
1. Play the tape for the first time. The students listen and finish 1b.
2. Check the answers.
3. Play the tape for the second time and the students complete the
conversation.
4. Check the answers.
5. The students Read the conversation after the teacher. The students read the conversation together.
(设计意图:通过同的方式输入本课功能句,学习句型,达成知识目
标。

读对话,模仿语音语调,使学生学说最纯正的语言。


Step 4: Pair work: 1c
The students make conversations.
A: What are the rules?
B: We can’t arrive late for class. We must be on time.
The students act out the conversation.
(设计意图:引导学生运用合作学习法进行初步的语言实践,引导学生在语境中感知模仿所学语言,培养学生运用语言进行交际的能力。

)Step 5: Listening 2a & 2b
Before listening
The students read the eight activities together.
While listening
1. Listen and check the activities Alan and Cindy talk about in 2a.
2. Listen again and find out if Alan and Cindy can do these activities.
Circle “can”or “can’t”.
3. Check the answers.
Pair work
结对活动,同桌进行对话,谈论2a 中提到的规则。

A:Can we listen to music in the classroom?
B: We can’t listen to music in the hallways, but we can listen to it outside…
(设计意图:通过对话练习使学生形成合作学习意识,学以致用,在
完成任务的同时复习巩固本课重点知识。


【拓展提升】
Step 6: Game
选择一个数字,完成对应的任务,回答正确可以得到相应的分数。

(设计意图:游戏环节提高学生的积极性,奖励相应的分数,提高学生的语言能力。
