on. Kites were first used for sending messages in the old
days. Today, they are used for fun and exercise.
A kite festival is held in April every year. People, especially
children, love kites very much because flying kites is very
interesting and it’s good for health.
Each different part of China has different tanghulu. It is usually made of haws, which are put together on a bamboo stick and covered with rock candy. But there are more materials for tanghulu today in some places, such as strawberries, grapes, and even little apples.
My city is famous for its kites. Kites are usually
made of bamboo, paper, cloth or silk and string. There are
all kinds of kites, such as a butterfly, a bird, a fish and so
