摘要：PURPOSE:To display the arithmetic results of fractions in the same way as the normal one by dividing a display part into upper and lower areas and using both areas for display of fractions. CONSTITUTION:A numerical value display part includes an upper display part 16 and a lower display part 15. In a normal numerical value input/arithmetic mode, the data are supplied through a key input part 11 and an arithmetic part 13 applies an arithmetic operation to the data or an instruction decoded by a control part 12. The result of this arithmetic is sent to a display driving circuit 14 and displayed at the part 15. While in a fractional arithmetic mode, the normal processing way is applied up to the part 13. Then the part of a denominator is first processed by the circuit 14 and this processing result is sent to the part 15 for display. While the part of a numerator is processed by the circuit 14 and sent to the part 16 for display. Thus it is possible to realize an easy-to-understand display of numerical value like a normal handwritten display, etc.
