World War Ⅰ (July 28th,1914 November 11th,1918)
the two causes:
The first and also fundamental cause of the war:
redivide the world colonies among the European imperialist power
2.A German plot was discovered and made public.
3.Germany had sent many spies to America to set fire to factories and put bombs in ships.
4.After more than two years fighting ,both Germans and British grew weary. That is a good chance to enter the war 5.”The February Revolution” took place in Russia in 1917.
The Great Depression (1929-1933) and Roosevelt’s “New Deal”
In November 1929,there was a “great crash”( New York stock market failed )In the presidential election of 1932 ,Franklin D.Roosevelt became president .
In 1918,Germany surrendered. After that ,27 victorious nations attend the Paris Conference on January 18th ,1919.
The essence of the first world war : 1.The war was an imperialist war . 2.The war was a world war (Europe, other continents ).
