摘要：PURPOSE:To equalize nonlinear distortion as well as linear distortion adaptively by detecting a characteristic of equalization object in terms of an input and an output signal and using the result so as to equalize the output signal. CONSTITUTION:An adaptive equalizer 20 equalizes the output signal of an equalization object 21 by using a characteristic detector 22 used to detect a transfer characteristic of the equalization object 21 such as a transfer function Homega) and the detected transfer function characteristic. And, the detector 22 and an equalizer 23 are neural networks, the detector 22 makes learning at the time of learning by using a transfer function of the equalization object 21 as a teacher signal and the equalizer 23 makes learning by using an input signal to the equalization object 21 as a teacher signal. Through the learning, the detector 21 detects the characteristic of the equalization object 21 from an input signal and an output signal of the equalization object 21. Then a control signal as a weight signal is outputted in response to the detected transfer function to form the equalizer 20 having the adaptive equalizing function and not only linear distortion but also nonlinear equalization is equalized.
