【聚焦语法】情态动词
1.概念:情态动词是接动词原形合成谓语的一种特殊动词形式,不能单独做谓语。
2.特点:情态动词接动词原形,没有人称和数的变化。
除了must外,其他的都有相应的过去式,其后直接
加not构成否定形式。
3.情态动词有may,might,shoud等。
4.用法
(1)表示请求许可,用may 也可用can 。
用could 和might 表示更委婉的请求。
例如:
May I have your name?可以告诉我你叫什么名字吗?
Might I ask you a question,please?请问,我可以问你一个问题吗?
(2)表示可能性,用May 或might, might 比may 可能性小。
例如:
That might be true.I’m not sure那可能是真的,我也不太确定。
He may be too tried.他可能太累。
(3)表示建议“应该”,用should。
例如:
You should drink lots of water.你应该多喝水。
You shouldn’t watch too much TV.你不应该过度看电视。
(4)Could, might还表示过去。
例如:
The old man could lift the big stone when he was young.这位老人年轻时能举起那块巨石。
She told us that news might be true.她告诉我们那消息可能是真的。

【实践题目】练习调查报告的写作。
【写作指导】调查报告是用来记录,整理自己在调查过程中所获得信息的文体。
其写作要求一般是:1.类型:写调查报告通常用记叙文体裁。
以记事和描写为主。
时态:写调查报告分为事件经过调查和基本信息调查。
前者常用过去时态,后者常用现在时态。
记叙时一般按照调查的基础上和对象逐一进行,所以有时需要借助一些表示连接和过渡的词语,如but,as for ,also,I think等。
