Another story my grandfather liked to tell was about the time he and his siblings had to walk several miles to
get to school every day. They didn't have a car or a bus to take them, so they had to walk no matter what the weather was like. Sometimes it was so cold that their fingers and toes would go numb, but they still had to keep walking. My grandfather said that even though it was hard, he was grateful for the education he received.
