摘要：Provided is cutting tool capable of smooth cutting even when a level difference occurs between the cut sections when cutting a curved line in an easily bendable cutting material. A jigsaw (1) comprises a housing (2), a motor held in the housing (2), a plunger on the tip of which a blade (6) can be mounted and which is driven by the motor and
reciprocates, and a base (41) that is attached to the housing (2) and is provided so as to move together with the housing (2) on the material that is being cut. The jigsaw is provided with a plate (7), which can be attached to and detached from the base (4) so as to be positioned on the base surface (41A) that is on the side of the base (41) opposite to the housing (2) and which is formed to be shorter than the base surface (41A) in the cutting direction.
