Using some memory about his grandmother’s life in Rainy Mountain and some history about Rainy Mountain, naturally, Momaday expresses his miss to his grandmother and previous life in Rainy Mountain. Comparison essay
Something in common:
Firstly, both essays tell the story happens in the future. And the characters all happen something strange and unbelievable.
Secondly, the article constructions both use conversation between characters. And during they talk, the plot develops.
Thirdly, the atmosphere of two essays is dreary.
What’s more, the attitude of the writers to the future things is negative. Something different:
Firstly, it’s the content. Text A mainly tells the dream of the writer. And during he talked with a strange man, he knew that everything had changed: no death, no work, no communication, no love. Life seemed grey and had no meaning. In the end the writer made a conclusion that the life nowadays was much better than the future. Then he woke up. But in text B, it mainly tells us that something happened during two characters watching TV. They lived under heavy pressure, and they always forgot things, even their son. After the farce made by their son happened and clamed down, everything still did not change, life went on.
Secondly, the people in text A future seemed to have no emotion. But people in text B future could be angry, sad and so on.
Thirdly, as for the content, Text B has more polts.。
