2018年合肥市高三英语二模试卷整体难度适中，对听、读、写能力考查全面，对各种技能考查也很到位。
试卷的设计和考查的内容依据新课标《考试大纲》和《考试说明》的相关要求，语言知识的覆盖范围控制在“课程标准”中所列语法项目表和“考试说明”中所列词汇表内：对语言运用能力的考查范围和考查方式与考试说明中的能力考查要求保持一致，难度上贴近高考。
