Let the love between everyoneWhen the sun of the spring was at the middle of the sky,I closed the book called Waiting For Goldie slowly。

At that time,I felt a sunshine lighted up in my real heart, not only for the hot sun,but also for the meaningful story.Danny was the leading of the story, and Goldie was a champion racing pigeon of Danny’s Granddad。

But one day,Danny was missing, and Danny was very worried about it,because his Granddad had a heart attack,if let he know the truth,he would even have another heart attack. So, Danny decided to look for Goldie by himself.First,he thought Goldie might be ate by the falcon, and he hated it very much. The sen tence “My fists are all bunched u p,in tight white knots” proves that Danny was really angry,But when he got to the quarry and found a chick of falcon,he changed his mind. The chick was too small and hopeless, that even made him think about Goldie. “All my angry feeling gush away, like water down a plughole”. I was moved by the love between Danny and Goldie, but I was move attracted by Danny’s kind and compassion. Surely,he found Goldie finally, but he didn’t hurt the falcon at last.In my opinion,I think the story was all about love: Danny’ s love to Granddad,Granddad’ s to Goldie. But the most important love that mov ed me is Danny’s love to the little falcon chick. As we know,at first,Danny even wanted it kill falcons, but finial he didn’t do that. What has made him do such different thing? I think it is the love.Love is the most beautiful thing in our world,we can’t see it ,but we can feel its existence。

WUTHERING HEIGHTS读后感

WUTHERING HEIGHTS读后感

WUTHERING HEIGHTSThis novel is a wild, passionate story of the intense and almost demonic love between Catherine Earnshaw and Heathcliff, a foundling adopted by Catherine's father. Humiliated by Catherine's brother and wrongly believing that his love for Catherine is not reciprocated, Heathcliff seeks revenge After reading this book, I felt for Heathcliff at first. Heathcliff begins his life as a homeless orphan on the streets of Liverpool, and then he tyrannized by Hindley Earnshaw. But he becomes a villain when he acquires power and returns to Wuthering Heights with money and the trappings of a gentleman. His malevolence proves so great and long—lasting. As he himself points out, his abuse of Isabella—his wife is purely sadistic, as he amuses himself by seeing how much abuse she can take and still come cringing back for more.At first I will tell you the main plot about Wuthering Heights. The story is narrated by Lockwood, a gentleman visiting the Yorkshire moors where the novel is set, and of Mrs Dean, housekeeper to the Earnshaw Family, who had been witness of the interlocked destinies of the original owners of the Heights. Described the love and enmity between Earnshaw and Linton’s family, especially Heathcliff and Catherine’s deeply love. Heathcliff is brought to Heights from the streets of Liverpool by Mr Earnshaw. Heathcliff is treated as Earnshaw’s own children, Catherine and Hindley. Heathcliff is bullied by Hindley after Earnshaw death and his lover Catherine marries Edgar Linton for many factors. This made Heathcliff mad, his destructive force is unleashed andhis first victim is his beloved, Catherine, who dies giving birth to a girl, another Catherine(Kathy). Edgar’s sister, whom he had married, flees to the south. Their son Linton and Kathy are married, but always sickly Linton dies. After that, Hareton, Hindley’s son and the young widow fall in love. Increasingly isolated and alienated from daily life, Heathcliff experiences visions, and he longs for the death that will reunite him with Catherine. The story is wonderful, and the structure is also extremely excellent. The author Emily Bronte use a series of flashbacks and time shifts draws a powerful picture of this story. Because of its wonderful story, excellent structure and graceful language, the book left a deep impression on me.From this book, we understand the deeply love and enmity. We find that the enmity always touched by deeply love at the end of the story, true feelings and true love always moved everyone. So we must treat others with true feelings.Catherine represents wild nature, in both her high, lively spirits and her occasional cruelty. She loves Heathcliff so intensely that she claims they are the same person. However, her actions are driven in part by her social ambitions, which initially are awakened during her first stay at the Lintons, and which eventually compel her to marry Edgar. Catherine is free—spirited, beautiful, spoiled, and often arrogant, she is given to fits of temper, and she is torn between her both of the men who love her. The location of her coffin symbolizes the conflict that tears apart her short life. She is buried in a cornerof the Kirkyard. In contrast to Catherine, Isabella Linton—Catherine’s sister—in—law represents culture and civilization, both in her refinement and in her weakness. Ultimately, she ruins her life by falling in love with Heathcliff. He never returns her feelings and treats her as a meretool in his quest for revenge on the Linton family.Just as Isabella Linton serves as Catherine’s foil, Edgar Linton serves as Heathcliff’s. Edgar grows into a tender, constant, but cowardly man. He is almost the ideal gentleman. However, this full assortment of gentlemanly characteristics, along with his civilized virtues, proves useless in Edgar’s clashes with his foil. He sees his wife obviously in love with another man but unable to do anything to rectify the situation. Heathcliff, who gains power over his wife, sister , and daughter.。

1‘WE ARE EQUAL!’ When these three words came out of the plain-looking girl’s mouth, the whole world was shocked. We have good reason to be shocked——deprived of family happiness from an early age, with neither beauty nor wealth to speak of, Jane Eyre seems to be never destined to become the heroine shining in the spotlight we often read about in romances——but is there really such a thing called destiny? At least Jane doesn’t think so. She is not pretty; she is not rich; she is a mere ordinary governess, so what? As an individual human existence, she has dignity as well as anyone else, so she deserves the chance to love and to be loved as well as anyone else! Despite her short, delicate body, her soul is not the least weaker than others’——even greater than most of them. The moment she said the three powerful words to Mr. Rochester proudly and steadily, her pale face must have been sparkling with sacredness, which would have made her the most beautiful woman ever, because the beauty of independence is eternal. With this spirit of independence she not only gained herself love, respect and happiness but also proved to the world that nobody is second class——unless you believe yourself to be.Hundreds of thousands of ordinary girls that usually get neglected in life——me included——love and admire Janedeeply because she inspires and encourages us to strive for our life goals against all odds bravely. She is a role model, an idol in our hearts but at the same time a friend, a big sister next door who’s not at all cold and distant, always ready and willing to stand by our side whenever we are in trouble. Every time when I feel inferior, puzzled and lose faith in myself and the strength to carry on the life path already chosen, Jane, my dear friend’s determined face and forceful words on that serene summer night would emerge inside my mind, which never failed to relight my fire of passion. Oh, how I long to be like her.But it’s not that I totally believe in her life story, by which I mean I don’t think the story of hers can happen to anybody. To me, it’s somewhat like a fairy tale that begins with ‘long long ago’ and ends with ‘ever after’,in which the prince and princess, though having suffered much in the process of getting together, would always end up in a harmonious marriage and enjoy all the best life has to offer. Being an obscure girl herself, the author Charlotte Bronte was so generous as to have provided our dear Jane a Mr. Rochester who loves her just the way she is, appreciates her unique character and a kindhearted family (later proved to be her relatives)that took her in when she was helpless and offered her a job to support herself. In reality, not every Jane Eyre can meet the proper people at the right time, just as not every ugly duckling can turn into a graceful swan——it may depend on a matter of luck. If you are too obsessed with fairy tales, you are very likely to feel disappointed and deceived by the not-so-perfect everyday life. But what are fairy tales for? We love to read them and we tend to believe in them even though we know they are not real. Sometimes we do need a little romantic daydream as seasonings in the routine of life, and wealso need an ideal to believe in, a creed to live by, and a northern star to show us directions on the long journey. That’s maybe what Jane Eyre is for——it gives numerous common girls a possibility to look forward to, a life to reach for, and above all, a positive attitude to face all odds to encounter. Perhaps we can’t all have her luck, but we can have her independence, confidence, persistence, the courage of standing up to fight for ourselves against those seemingly taller than us, and the faith that we can finally win because WE ARE EQUAL. 2At first glance, "the elephant man" when one is his accustomed to black and white color preference, two is directed to director David Lynch (DavidLynch) name, the "Elephant Man", David Lynchs 1980 debut, let me cry.He is not like a man, not an animal, man is man. This is the theme of the film is also the protagonist is Merrick - angle into despair when the last shout, but do not seek to rescue.Like the slow start of a film: a beautiful girl in a picture frame, a mother of desperate people, a herd of noisy elephants. With the background of the noisy sound of the horn, a girls body by elephants trampled trampling. The girl, a mother, the absurd experiences in the rainforest, the origin of the story, was brought to the abstract with such montage. Then it was a long two hours.Black-and-white picture. As people have natural aversion physiological wheeze, deformed body, ugly skin, big head, only can distinguish the left eye and a clear or are left, the beautiful ugly appearance of the sacred heart, night prayer nerve lamb slaughtered lamb. That is the man.Man is innocent, he tremble with fear like a child, he was afraid of his people to the whip, he laughed at, he was afraid ofthose people outside the window harbour evil designs appear suddenly in the face, he is afraid of even a sudden closing sound, he is afraid to speak. He took a picture of his mother with a girl with an angels face, and then he said sadly, "if my mother is still there, she must not want to see me."......Will be ashamed of me, I, I put her to shame......Even those who just posturing like close to him, he was overwhelmed by an unexpected favour, happy like a child, he would say: it is really, really so? He did not dare to believe that he thought his life would really like an animal in the lower dark wet through with a weak body, and heavy wheeze. He expected to come from outside the church, he just wants to do for an ordinary person, but the church is not far out of the window, so close that he could not see, he can only draw the outline of it in the heart, to create his ideal to use their own imagination, one for ordinary people not worth mentioning the ideal.Sentimental personality signature cold girlI think that this is just Lynch made up by the abnormal people to ridicule the world of black humor, a "Notre Dame de Paris" continuity and reconstruction, with cruel body face to sing the sanctity of the heart. When I began to search for more information about the driver, I find the story of JosephMerrick."The elephant man" is based on the real experiences of change and JosephMerrick. Its a shock and a sad truth.More than 100 years ago, before the real man.In fact, the reality is far more cruel than what the film shows. After Merrick died, his body was kept by the Royal Infirmary in London for experiments. His rare pathology became a problem that puzzled the medical community for more than 100 years. While the film with deformity of dwarf relief and the doctor finally conscience to prove a perfect one, but still unable to save the mansdeath.JosephMerrick had personally made a church out of cardboard, and it was gorgeous and fragile."If not, maybe I can please you better and please the world," says JosephMerrick.......If I could......If you can measure his worth with ones soul......In the end, the film comes back to the beginning of abstraction and illusion, because we can not get answers in the real world.A voice said, it is a dead mother, she said: nothingwilldie. 3People are dying in this story called "living".A chance at high school, the Chinese teacher gave us a share in Yu Huas Novels "alive" by the movie, this is my first time to contact the "live" this works, then determined the Internet to buy a book and began to carefully taste the real flavor between the lines."Alive" actually tells the story of a persons life story, the book tells the story of a fukki rich young master, first put into a family gambled all the poor father died and he resented; unfortunately caught by the Kuomintang when young men died after those in the world, but the mother is sick then the son has died; Qing was blood to die, her daughter Feng Xia died due to postpartum septicemia, wife Zhende rickets eventually died; and two injured died like son-in-law, grandson of bitter root by eating beans by death; finally, only the old Fu and a cow story. This is an old man who has gone through the vicissitudes and tribulations of the world. The authors brushwork is very quiet, not deliberately to foil a kind of ups and downs of the atmosphere, with the authors plain narrative, experienced the heros life, sad and happy. After reading Yanjuan meditation, the heart is heavy, feeling indescribably sad, it seems that life can experiencemisfortune befell the hero. Thinking about the protagonists experiences, I began to think: what is the meaning of life?I think the value of living is growing.Something from a completely spoiled and unruly wealthy young master to a prop up the ordinary peasant family, no regrets, this period is not something hated complained, but more is to allow yourself to accept the reality, continue to be strong, this is growing fukki, this is the purpose of his life. From the outset we cannot decide the birth, or rich or poor or healthy or sick, some people do not feel happy, that will start to ask why people alive? However, when we are from the past that even the 99 multiplication tables are difficult to calculate now back pupil function, learn mathematics; from the past under the guidance of the teacher will appreciate an article now will own appreciation of his creation of an article; from the past to now unsuspectingly naive mature mind and mentality across from the past; capricious temper now for the sake of their parents. Weve been growing up this way, and thats what were living for.I think the meaning of human life is -- because responsibility is better and better. When something was caught when young men on the battlefield, the battlefield after death, as captured in the face of the PLA are choosing to stay or get the money for the journey home, he did not hesitate to choose the home; when the fukki because the implementation of peoples Commune and the home field only in front of a small block when he was not discouraged, but remember that his father taught him "through their own efforts to make our Home Xu from the chicken into goose from the goose into sheep, from sheep into cattle, slowly re issued" he tried to let the family live better, these are your family ofresponsible performance. Your responsibility to live better because of this, he is the meaning of life.Students in all walks of life we all have their own responsibility, breakfast every morning to make cakes for Wang Shushu; white-collar Miss Lin every day sitting in front of the computer seriously under report; courier brother Zhou to you to express every day in all weathers. They all live better because of their responsibilities, and thats what we live for.I think the meaning of living is to give love continuously. When your tired one day later, he is still willing to bend down to your feet now; when life is not comfortable, he is still willing to give money to save the Long Feng Xia Na a new dress; know when Fugui was the first school in the Qing run when his eyes full of are proud. These are your love for them, they also love your. Your constant love, this is the purpose of his life.If the world were a cabin, love would be a window in the hut; if the world were a ship, then love would be a beacon in the boundless sea. To be loved is a wonderful enjoyment, and to love others is a noble and good character. As long as you observe carefully, you will find that there are many people around you who need you to continue to give love, and that is what we live for. What is it to live for? Your life tells us: to live, not only for themselves, those who you love and who love you is worth you to live for them. 4Man must be on the road to death, so death is a matter of no hurry, and death is a sure coming festival. -.By chance, I read Yu Huas "alive", the book tells the story of a fukki rich young master, first put into a family gambled all thepoor father died and he resented; unfortunately caught by the Kuomintang when young men died after those in the world, but the mother he died of illness; then there is blood to dry the Qing son died, her daughter Feng Xias wife died of postpartum septicemia, Zhende rickets eventually died; and two injured died like son-in-law, grandson of bitter root by eating beans by death; finally, only the old Fu and a cow story. The story spans China from the Kuomintang to Mao Zedong. Tells the broad and rich tears. After reading this ordinary story, I am meaningful, but also I understand the despair of despair. So Yu Hua wrote in the preface, "alive" in our China language is full of strength, its strength does not come from shouting, not from attack, but to endure, to endure life gives us the responsibility to bear the reality to give us happiness and suffering, boring and mediocre.I like talking to old people because talking with them always makes me think a little more about life. They have been to old age, not pain with the world and say goodbye, fear of death is coming, nor in the life left in the sad face, complaining about the injustice of yesterday. I see is the temper of time to allow the soul to Xijinqianhua in the dust, pure white. Visited thousands of the world, experience the life of the torrential rain, condensed water is life, to add a soft Youth passes as a fleeting wave. let life, enjoy the quiet beauty in the leaves. Quiet time, they no longer ask how many flowers, only asked whether smile enron. There is a good saying in living, "man lives for himself, not for anything else."". There is only one life, and when it is lost, it is really gone. It is priceless and can not be bought with money. The impermanence of life, come and go. In each of the parting of the intersection, we can only see a figure, the overlapping lingeringendless blessing about full load. In the life and soul of the moment, the cohesion is a good and happy, this moment of burst out of the brilliance, worth our lifetime waiting for, forever treasure. The heart of an old man is like a pebble flowing through the water. Young, how can we absorb all the light? Just because of all mortal beings, can not help but touch a little human fireworks, not through the vicissitudes of current events, and how can we get the real practice, let indifferent interpretation of life? However, this indifferent attitude toward life, but more or less gave me a calm forward. As a philosopher said, in fact, life in the end is but a false alarm. When you find that so many of the past have gone with the wind into the years lost aloes, growing pains in the wind seems to be the memory of understatement. I began to learn the youth behind the reversal raving quiet, gently tapping the years wrinkles, only hope that life in the light, I can still choose to do the positive and optimistic, let the heart as a mirror, leisurely path.Life is a beautiful scene in the one-way trip, its charm is in its way, it is never to return. Not only that, we will watch God clear, dress costumes take this way of life happiness tour, luxury life. In the ruins of the years of life movement in the United States spectrum. The road to life is long and long, and life has to sing all the way. To live is more important than anything. Lucky to be alive. 典范英语优秀读后感5After Read The African ChildThe African Child was written by an African writer called Camara Laye, who gave me a different perspective about seEing the African children. It is really a book which is worth reading although it do not belong to the best-sellers or the newestpublication. It is just a book written in a very long time ago by a not that famous writer, but you’ll find it fantastic or you will finally get something after read the book. Now let’s see the details. The African Child is a book collected by Collins English Library, and the library graded it with level 4. The level represents a text written within a basic vocabulary of 500 words and appropriate structures, 2:1000 words, 3:2000 words, 4:3000 words, 5:5000 words. The Collins English library series are written for students of English as a second or foreign language and for reluctant native readers. The African child only contains 12 chapters, but for me, it’s the perfect, because I cannot read that much words in a short time by my reading speed, I know I have to do with my reading. At the beginning of the book, there is a short passage written for the writer’s mother to express the writer’s thanks towards his great mother, and also, to appreciate the women of Africa. Then comes the story. It is a true story about the author himself became a man, and finally left his hometown and family. During the reading process, I find something interesting and touching. I used to misunderstood that all the African family are living a poor and unhappy life, and the woman here has little importance in their society. Now I know that not everything is so absolute. The author tells us that some people may hold this view for many years, but Africa is huge, with many different ways of life, and in their country the woman has considerable freedom and power. In his hometown, his mother was respected and admired greatly not only for her strong mind, but also her strange powers. He really had a mother with fantastic powers just like magic. In the book, it seems just many of them have magic, his father’s black guiding snake which guided him to do the right thing, and ledhim to the way of success. And also, his mother’s power to make animals come to life, the mystical ‘sema’ or medicine man, and marabouts who have a magic power to make wishes come true or can predict future just like a wizard. In the beginning of the book, I saw that those African boys did not live a hard time. Instead, they were happy almost every day, they loved wild animals, and the wild animals like snakes never hurt them, snakes are thought to be good friends and tutor to them. In a certain time, the author would go to visit his grandmother who lived in countryside. Here everybody knew everybody else, they know almost everything about each other, and each other’s secrets, but they were very considerate to each other in a country manner. Here we can see that country manners do not mean rough manners, people are more polite in the country than in the town. They have more time, and the way of life is simpler in the country, but there are accepted rules. Although everyone knows everything about everyone else’s lives, they are always very careful about each other’s personal freedom. And if their minds seem to work more slowly in the country, it is because speech is a serious matter. They always think careful before speaking. Here author spent a very happy time. He enjoyed the activity of cutting rice with adult and partners just as young as he is, he liked the sound of drum while cutting rice, and he loved to keep the birds away from their rice on the ground. He could swim in the river with others freely, and climb trees as he want even though his clothes would be torn. He was not afraid of that here, he had a grandma who would mend it without complain. She loved her grandson. But life is not happy all the time; there surely will be some hard time to spend. As the author went to school, old boys alwayshit the younger students, took their food and money away, but the young was too afraid to tell their fathers. Finally one day, hungry and hurt, one of the younger students dared to tell all about it to his father, one of the most famous people in the town, so the problem was solved, and the younger students was lived in a happy life ever after.Time flies, here came the day of boys becoming men. They would experience the circumci sion. The process is hurt, but it’s the price of becoming a man. All the boys behaved very bravely that they never cried out under the almost unbearable pain. They were the African children!,In the end, I want to say that although there are some strange customs in Africa, I do changed my view on the African lives. Maybe they do not as wealthy as the Europeans, but they are living a happy life too, just like the author said, Africa is huge, there’s different ways of life. Now I see Africa as a place full of love, care, magic and natural life.。

Upon completing the seventh book in the "Exemplary English" series, I found myself deeply engrossed in its pages, contemplating its themes and characters long after I turned the final one. This eighth installment, much like its predecessors, captivated me with its rich narrative and profound insights into the human experience. One of the most striking aspects of this book is its exploration of the complexities of human relationships. Through the intertwining lives of the characters, the author skillfully delves into the nuances of love, friendship, and familial bonds. Each character is meticulously crafted, with their own hopes, fears, and desires, making them feel incredibly real and relatable. Moreover, the book offers a thought-provoking commentary on societal issues. From the examination of class disparities to the exploration of gender roles, the author fearlessly tackles difficult subjects with sensitivity and depth. Through the lens of fiction, readers are invited to reflect on their own beliefs and values, prompting meaningful introspection and dialogue.Another aspect of the book that stood out to me is its evocative imagery and vivid prose. The author has a remarkable ability to paint scenes with words, transporting readers to different places and times with ease. Whether describing a bustling city street or a tranquil countryside, the descriptive language used throughout the book is both immersive and enchanting.Furthermore, the pacing of the narrative is masterfully done, keeping readers engaged from start to finish. The story unfolds at just the right pace, allowing for moments of tension and suspense to build organically. Each twist and turn feels earned, leading to a satisfying conclusion that ties up loose ends while still leaving room for interpretation. In addition to its narrative strengths, the book also offers valuable insights into the human condition. Through the triumphs and tribulations of its characters, readers arereminded of the resilience of the human spirit and the power of hope in the face of adversity. It is a testament to the enduring capacity for growth and transformation that exists within each of us.Overall, the eighth book in the "Exemplary English" series is a triumph of storytelling. With its richly drawn characters, thought-provoking themes, and immersive prose, it is a testament to the enduring power of literature to inspire, challenge, and uplift. As I reluctantly turned the final page, I was left with a sense of gratitude for having embarked on this literary journey and eagerly await the next installment.。

Waiting for Godot is a play by Samuel Beckett, and it is often described as a "tragicomedy" because it combines elements of both tragedy and comedy. The play revolves around two main characters, Vladimir and Estragon, who are waiting for someone named Godot. As they wait, they engage in various conversations and activities to pass the time. Throughout the play, there is a sense of futility and existential angst as the characters struggle to find meaning in their seemingly pointless waiting. The play's exploration of the human condition and the nature of existence is both thought-provoking and deeply moving. The characters' endless waiting for Godot serves as a metaphor for the human experience, highlighting the universal themes of uncertainty, purposelessness, and the search for meaning. One of the most striking aspects of Waiting for Godot is its use of language and dialogue. Beckett's writing is both sparse and poetic, and the dialogue between the characters is often filled with wit and wordplay. The play's language adds a layer of complexity to the themes and emotions itexplores, creating a rich and multi-dimensional experience for the audience. The play's open-ended nature and ambiguous symbolism have led to a wide range of interpretations and analyses. Some see Waiting for Godot as a commentary on the human condition, while others view it as a critique of society or a reflection on the absurdity of life. Regardless of the specific interpretation, the play's impact and influence on literature and theater are undeniable. In conclusion, Waiting for Godot is a powerful and thought-provoking work that continues to resonate with audiences around the world. Its exploration of existential themes, combined with Beckett's masterful use of language, makes it a timeless and enduring piece of literature.《等待高蒂》是塞缪尔·贝克特的一部戏剧作品,通常被描述为“悲喜剧”,因为它结合了悲剧和喜剧的元素。

HOME ——the feelings about Good English 17After learningGood English 17(Pioneer Girl, the story of LauraIngalls Wilder), Ihave some feelings about it. Do you know what Laura said? She said that: “Home waswhere Pa’s fiddle was hung on the w all. It was wherever Pa put up a shelf for Ma’schina shepherdess. It never got broken.” I’m deeply touched bythis sentence. Oh yes, home isn’t only a place for people to live in. But also contains alot of things in it. What are those? From my point of view, home is a place which full of loves. Family love, affection, friendship will letyou not be lonely. They are just like songs, cultivate your sentiment. They are just like rivers, nourish your soul. They are just like sunshine, light up your future. They are just like books, enrich your knowledge. They are just like lighthouses, guide your direction. Theyare just like shield, protect yoursafety. They make your life be colourful. Home can also bring youinto a world without war, calamity and hatred. So this is why peoplemiss home much when they are in other places, this is why people want to go home in traditional festival, this is why so many poets wrote downlots of poems about missing home. Because they always long for the loves.Just like Laura, no matter where she was, if she was with her family. She would be happy. So she said that: “I remember Jack, of course, those long wagon journeys, and the wild animals and lonely places. We were poor, but we madethe best of what we had. When I look back, I remember one thing most of all-we used to sit round the fire, singing, Pa playing his fiddle. It didn’t matter where we were. If we weretogether, we were happy.” This is probably the centrality of this English story. “Eastor west, home is the best.” this famous old saying had already told us this sense: You can’t abandon your home.Laura’s family travelled a lot of places, so that their house wasin different places, in the Big Woods, on the Prairie, on Plum Creek and so on. In that time, they had happiness, they also had hard time: nofood in the summer because of the grasshoppers, her younger brother died and her sister Marry became blind because the terrible blizzard froze them. Although they faced lots of trouble, they never gave up; theynever gave in to the difficulties. So today we can read this story. Why? Why on earth they can have strong-minded? Because there was always a home behind them, it gave them courage and strength, it made them be more confident.Yes, home is a part of our life, a long and wonderful life.Home is a beautiful word, a warm association, it has touchedcountless people.Home is the starting point of life, is the harbour of soul.Maybe you can lose anything, but you can’t lose home. If you ask someone whatthe most important thing in his heart is. He won’t tell you money,he will tell you:Home is. Because money isn’t everything, money can’t buy a sweet home. You canlose all of your money, but you can’t lose home. If you don’t have home, this will beunmeaning.Do you know a famous saxophone song called “Go home”? It istouched lot ofpeople’s hearts. Why could the singer write down this song? It is due to once whenthe writer came home late at night. But he found his mother still sitting on the sofa and waiting for him to return, he was reallytouching so that he wrote the classic song. If you listen to that sangin a very quiet night, you will be strongly feel the warmth of home care and family members, homesickness slowly rising from the bottom of your heart. This is the magical of the song; this is the magical of home.Leave home, miss home, back home, people often repeated these things. But no one feel boring. Why? Because having home is happiness. Perhaps one day we will be tortured by life, but after undergoing the happiness, the tears, the loneliness, we will find there is such an eternal love——Home. It happens that there is a similar case, in 2013 The Spring Festival Gala of China (the most important programmes in China) there is a public service advertising naming all the voice of Chinese: The life of people always walk on the way home.Chinese hearts, the reunion years. All in all, what is the sweetest thing in the world? It is home. What is the warmest thing in the world? It is home. What is the coziest thing in the world? It is home! In the end, I want to quote a famous author called Long Yingtai words: Don’tyou think home is the most precious thing which we have. Someone may ask me what home is. I would tell him that: you tell me where is home, then I can tell you what is eternal.Because I have home, I don’t afraid of challenges any more.Because I have home, I can grow up healthily and happily.Because I have home, I begin to love the world.Because I have home, I always have felicities!。

I recently had the pleasure of reading a classic English literature piece that continues to captivate readers worldwide - Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. Originally published in 1813, the novel is set in 19th century England, and describes the lives and loves of the Bennet family, focusing mainly on the second daughter, Elizabeth.Reading Pride and Prejudice was certainly an enriching and enjoyable experience for me, one which I highly recommend to all avid readers. The simple and elegant language used by the author draws the reader in and transports them to the time and place of the story. The characters are well developed, with unique and distinct personalities that make them feel almost real. Jane Austen used her masterful storytelling skills to weave together different themes such as love, marriage, class, and social status to create a timeless work that continues to resonate with readers even after almost two centuries. One important aspect of this book is how it highlights the struggles that women of that time had to face, and how their lives were constrained by social norms and expectations. Despite limited opportunities for education and financial independence, Austen’s female characters display wit, intelligence, and resilience in the face of adversity. Their struggles to navigate societalexpectations and choose their own paths are captured so well in this work, and continue to resonate with modern audiences.Beyond the social commentary, Pride and Prejudice is a beautiful tale of love, unlikely attraction, and human connection. As the story unfolds, the reader is presented with a host of interesting and dynamic characters that are all looking for love and companionship. Watching the seemingly impossible romance between Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy unfold is truly one of the greatest literary pleasures.I believe that the importance of Pride and Prejudice cannot be overstated. It is a timeless work that continues to resonate with readers of all ages and backgrounds. Through this book, we gain an insight into the societal norms and expectations of the time, and are reminded that true love can conquer all obstacles. In conclusion, reading Pride and Prejudice was an enriching experience for me. It gave me a glimpse into a bygone era, and reminded me of the power of captivating storytelling. Jane Austen’s novel is a work that will continue to capture the hearts and minds of readers for generations to come, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly engrossing reading experience.。

Imp ressions of P ride and P rejudice"It is a truth well known to all the world that an unm arried man in p ossess ion of a large fortune must in need of a wife ."The opening sentence ofP ride and P rejudice left dee p imp ressi on on readers almost two cen turies ago. Jane Auste n's tale of love and econo mics reaches us once more with the en ergy of a thorough no velty."P ride and P rejudice" has bee n a favorite no vel of mi ne since I first read it and r ve see n Laure nee Olivier and Greer Garson, Colin Firth andJennifer Ehle and now Matthew MacFadyen and Kiera Knightly. That movie has such a strong appeal to me, I was totally obsessed by it.Amazi ngly eno ugh r ve n ever bee n disa ppoin ted. The material seems to be full proof. Colin Firth's Darcy, in many ways, is the Darcy I've always imagi ned. He's bee n an actor r ve followed feverishly since his gloriousAdrian LeDuc in "Apartment Zero", Matthew MacFadyen was totally new to me but he man aged to create that sense of longing that makes that final pay off so satisfy ing. Kiera Kni ghtly is a ravishi ng revelati on. I must con fess, I did n't remotely imagi nedthat she was cap able of the po werful range she brillia ntly shows here. The other big surp rise is Joe Wright, the director, in his feature film debut which is more than promising, it's extraord in ary. The p hotogra phy, the art directi on and the sp ectacular supporting cast, in particular Donald Sutherland and Brenda Blethyn, makesthis new vers ion of a perennial classic a memorable eve ning at the moviesThen I find the book Pride and Prejudice' immediately and read itover and over again. Ifsone of my favorite books. And I just can 'wait a minute to exp ress my feeli ng about it.I searched the Internet and found somethi ng about the author JaneAuste n. As the author of P ride and P rejudice,Ja ne Auste n was one of the famous realistic writers in the English literature in nineteenth cen tury. Her no vels were witty, warm and ironic p ortraits of the p rivilege classes of 18th- and 19th-ce ntury En gla nd. Her best-k nown works areEmma (1815), P ride and P rejudice (1813) and Sense and Sen sibility (1811). Pride and Pr ejudice is one of the rep rese ntative works of JaneAuste n, first p ublished in 1813. Though the story's sett ing is characteristically turn-of-the-19th-ce ntury, it reta ins a fasc in atio n for moder n readers, continuing n ear the top of lists of 'most loved books.I could n't forget how eager Mrs. Bennet wants to marry off her daughters. If you want to know why she is so crazy about these thi ngs, I must men ti on the situati on in Brita in at that time. Only the eldest son had the privilege of inheriting his father's possessions.Younger sons and daughters who are used to luxurious lives have no choice but marry a man or woman in possession of a large fortune to continue their comfortable lives. Thus, we can see that gett ing married is a way to become wealthier, particularly for women without many possessions.Jane Auste n told us that money and p ossessi on determ ined everyth ing, including marriage and love in her century. In “ Pride and Prejudieg', the sister of Mr. Bin gley stron gly oppo sed his plan of marry ing Jane because the Bennets don't have many possessions and their social po siti ons are much lower tha n them. From this, we can see there are a lot of obstacles for a not very rich woma n to marry a wealthy husba nd. The society, the relatives would not allow them to get marriage. In moder n society, although the marriages of econo mic n eeds have decreased rap idly, the concept of“ money determines everything is stil d in some peopie's mind. A lot of parents try hard to interfere their children's marriages.Educatio n backgro und, po ssessi on s,jobs remai ns the mai n reas on that may in flue nee on e's marriage. Marry for money is still a big p roblem in our society. We can't help thinking: can money determine everything? Then let' s come to talk about the meaningful topic of this love story: P ride and pr ejudice are our com mon p roblems and weak nesses. In fact, every one is very easy to be drive n by his own subjective imp ressi on and thus easy to make in correct comme nts on others, and the n led to misun dersta nd betwee n peop le. Ones first imp ressi on can affect a lot of things for sure, but it doesn ' t mean it couldn' t be changed. The dee per you get to un dersta nd some one, the more objective points you will have on him or her. The cha nging of Elizabeth' s point of view towardsDarcy just pro ved this p erfectly: no p ride, no p rejudice, and these two married just becausethey love each other, just becausethey n eed each other in stead of n eed each other s p ossessi ons. Auste n is smart, becauseElizabeth got beauty and in tellige nee while Darcy is han dsome and rich. I even wonder if such a perfect marriage could take place in modern society .In brief, after readi ng this story, many feeli ngs come to me. At the same time, I stron gly recomme nd every uni versity stude nts to read this classical book and the n thi nk twice about this eter nal subject: on love, which factor is that should be in the first p lace?In P ride and P rejudice,Ja ne Auste n wrote four types of marriage: dealElizabeth and Darcy, realizable Charlotte and Colli ns, felicitous Jane andBin gley ,unhappy Lydia and Wickham. She poin ted out emp hatically economic consideration is the bonds of wedlock and love. She said marriage is not determ ined byprop erty and family status; it sun wise to marry without mon ey, but it is wrong to marry for mon ey; the marriage settled by love is happy and ideal.。

英文泛读The Great Gatsby读后感

英文泛读The Great Gatsby读后感

The Great GatsbyThe protagonist of the novel is Gatsby. The author interprets Gatsby's experience and final decline from the perspective of his neighbor Nick. Gatsby fell in love with his distant cousin Daisy a long time ago. He met Daisy again at a party. At this time, Gatsby was already rich. However, At this time Daisy has married children, in her husband's interference, the relationship between the two again deadlock. Gatsby was always loyal to love, and his love for Daisy was true to death. Unfortunately, at the end of his life, Daisy still did not turn back.Gatsby's life ended, but people never stopped thinking about him. According to the author, Gatsby is a larger-than-life character who inherits a lot of money, travels widely and is even said to have killed people, but he is also nervous like a child when he meets Daisy, with a naive and innocent side. When others are busy,he always stands alone and looks on coldly, detached from all the hustle and bustle of the world. Why do such people end up forgotten? It can only be said that people in the society is small, small to clear pupils will be seen as ice dome; The light stands by, but it cannot be sheltered. Perhaps the author lives in such a cut-throat, law of the jungle era, in Lao She's words, "do not leave a way out for good people". Gatsby is sad. He devoted his love to a woman who worded money and was corrupted by The Times. He did not find that sometimes the sorrow of love and hate was not as simple as people imagined, and he would be ruthlessly deviated from it unconsciously.Although the author is sad to write, but I believe he did not erase the light. Although Gatsby is a tragedy, his innocence and passion remain as they were in the past. This kind of positive energy is needed in our times. Perhaps the novel reflects the reality and desires people to be as simple as watching a long stream on a midsummer night.。

Let the love between everyone
When the sun of the spring was at the middle of the sky,I closed the book called Waiting For Goldie slowly。

At that time,I felt a sunshine lighted up in my real heart, not only for the hot sun,but also for the meaningful story.
Danny was the leading of the story, and Goldie was a champion racing pigeon of Danny’s Granddad。

But one day,Danny was missing, and Danny was very worried about it,because his Granddad had a heart attack,if let he know the truth,he would even have another heart attack. So, Danny decided to look for Goldie by himself.
First,he thought Goldie might be ate by the falcon, and he hated it very much. Surely,he found Goldie finally, but he didn’t hurt the falcon at last.
In my opinion,I think the story was all about love: Danny’ s love to Granddad,Granddad’ s to Goldie. But the most important love that mov ed me is Danny’s love to the little falcon chick. As we know,at first,Danny even wanted it kill falcons, but finial he didn’t do that. What has made him do such different thing? I think it is the love.
Love is the most beautiful thing in our world,we can’t see it ,but we can feel its existence。

With the love, our heart can be warm。

Sometimes,a word or action of love can make difference. So,Let’s lean to give love, share love, let the love between everyone.
