音乐改变我们的生活英语作文演讲稿全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1How Music Changes Our LivesHi everyone! My name is Maya and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to talk to you about one of my biggest passions - music! Music is such an amazing thing and it impacts our lives in so many wonderful ways.First of all, music just makes us feel good. Whether you're listening to an upbeat pop song that makes you want to dance around your room or a mellow tune that helps you relax after a long day, music has this incredible power to shift our moods and emotions. When I'm feeling sad, listening to my favorite songs can instantly perk me up and put a smile on my face. And when I'm happy, singing along to an energetic song amplifies that joyful feeling even more.Have you ever noticed how certain songs can instantly transport you back to a specific memory from your past? Like when you hear a song you loved as a little kid and you're flooded with nostalgic memories from your childhood. That's the magicof music - it creates powerful connections in our brains between the melody and lyrics and whatever was happening in our lives when we first heard that song. Pretty cool, right?Music also brings people together in amazing ways. Think about going to a live concert or music festival with thousands of other fans. Everyone is united by their shared love of the music and the incredible energy in the crowd is something you'll never forget. Or even just jamming out to music with your friends, rocking out on air guitars and drums. Music creates this universal language that connects people across cultures and backgrounds. No matter where you're from or what you look like, you can bond with others through music.Speaking of cultures, music plays a huge role in celebrations and traditions around the world. Many holidays and festivals have their own special songs and dances that have been passed down for generations. Music helps preserve cultural identities and tells stories about a group's history and values. For example, my family is from India and we love celebrating holidays like Diwali with traditional Indian music and dances. The music connects me to my heritage in a really special way.Of course, we can't forget about how music impacts our education too! There's lots of evidence that learning to play aninstrument or being exposed to music at a young age can help kids develop all kinds of important skills. It improves memory, concentration, coordination, and even math abilities. Plus, joining a music group like band or choir teaches teamwork and discipline. At my school, some of my favorite times are our music classes when we get to sing songs and play instruments like xylophones together.Musicians have to work really hard to create the songs we all love. Writing lyrics, composing melodies, and arranging all the different instrumental parts takes incredible creativity and talent. And then performers have to practice for countless hours to perfect their vocal or instrumental skills. That level of dedication and artistry is really admirable. Music allows people to express themselves in unique ways and share their deepest thoughts and emotions with the world.I could go on and on about the impact of music, but I'll leave you with one last thought. Just imagine what the world would be like without any music at all. No songs on the radio to sing along to, no bands to go see in concert, no background music in movies or TV shows to set the mood. It would be so dull and boring! Music adds so much vibrancy, emotion, and beauty to our lives. It amplifies our happiest moments and comforts usduring our saddest times. It teaches us about different cultures and brings people together across all boundaries. So keep on singing in the shower, dancing around your living room, and jamming out to your favorite tunes, because THAT is what life is all about. Don't ever underestimate the incredible power of music!篇2How Music Changes Our LivesHi everyone! My name is Sam and I'm here to talk to you today about one of my favorite things in the whole world - music!I love listening to music, singing along, and even trying to play some instruments. But music is way more than just something fun to do. It can actually change our lives in some pretty amazing ways!First off, music has this incredible power to change our moods and feelings. Think about how you feel when you're listening to a really upbeat, happy song - it just makes you want to smile and dance around, doesn't it? Or if you're feeling sad, listening to a beautiful, mellow song can sometimes make you feel better and help you process those emotions. Music can pump us up when we need energy or calm us down when we'refeeling anxious or stressed out. It's like music speaks straight to our hearts and souls. My dad says music was really important to him when he was a teenager. He was pretty shy and had a hard time expressing his feelings. But listening to songs by his favorite bands helped him get through some tough times. The lyrics gave him a way to connect with emotions he was feeling but couldn't put into words himself. Even now as an adult, he still listens to certain songs or whole albums that remind him of important moments and people from his life. Music holds so many memories for him.Speaking of memories, that's another way music can change our lives - it helps us remember things! You know how hearing a particular song can instantly transport you back to a specific time and place where you have a strong memory linked to that song? Like for me, whenever I hear "Shake It Off" by Taylor Swift, I'm reminded of my 9th birthday party where we all danced around like crazy to that song. Those melody and lyrics are burned into my brain along with the visuals of that fun celebration. Music imprints memories into our minds in a powerful way.Researchers have actually studied how music affects our brains and ability to learn too. Lots of teachers now use songs to help students memorize information like the alphabet, numbers, historical facts and vocabulary words in new languages. The melodies and rhythms act like clues to make it easier for our brains to soak up and retain that knowledge. At my school, we sing songs to learn lots of different things - from math concepts to good habits to science topics. It really does help make that information stick in our heads better!Music can even change our physical beings in some ways. Upbeat music with a strong rhythm gets our hearts pumping and our bodies moving without us even really thinking about it. That's why lots of people like to listen to dance music or other fast-paced, high energy tunes when they exercise - it helps motivate them and push them to go farther athletically. But even slower, more relaxing music has been shown to help reduce things like high blood pressure, anxiety, and muscle tension by putting our minds and bodies into a calmer state. Pretty crazy how those melodies and beats can directly impact our physical health! In addition to personal changes, music also has the power to bring people together and connect us as a global community. Despite differences in language, culture, race, or religion, people around the world can come together over a shared love and appreciation for music. When you go to a live concert, you'resurrounded by thousands of other people who are bonding over that experience and letting the music move them, no matter how diverse their backgrounds may be. Music transcends boundaries in a way that allows people to feel united and part of something bigger.Even in my own life, music has brought me closer to people in my family and friend circle. My best friend Ana and I are constantly sharing new songs and artists with each other that we've discovered. Then we'll learn all the words so we can blast the music and sing (or let's be honest, shout!) it together in the car. My grandpa, who came to the United States from Mexico when he was young, used to sing me folk songs and tell me about the music he grew up with. Now when I hear those songs, I feel this special bond with him and my Hispanic heritage. Music creates connections.Another life-changing aspect of music is how it allows us to express ourselves in creative ways. Writing songs, free-styling raps or poetry, and playing instruments gives people an outlet to release emotions, share their stories, and let their imaginations and talents flow. Expressing yourself through music is a pure form of art that graces the world with new beauty, meaning and perspectives. Some of the most inspiring speeches, protests andimpactful moments in history involved the powerful expression of music. On a personal level, I've started trying to compose my own little songs and raps as a fun way to express what's on my mind and in my heart. Just messing around making up lyrics and melodies on my keyboard or little drumpad lets me channel my feelings and get them out of my system in a healthy way, instead of holding them inside. Who knows, maybe I'll be a musician when I grow up! Music gives us an incredible way to creatively express our true, authentic selves. Those are just some of the ways music can transform our minds, bodies, relationships, communities and forms ofself-expression. But we've really only scratched the surface of how powerful and life-changing music can be. With its ability to stir human emotion, create connections, and serve as a window into cultures, time periods and personal journeys, music stands alone as this universal language that brings people together across all boundaries and affects us at a soul-deep level. So keep on singing, dancing, listening, and letting music move you! Those melodies, rhythms and lyrics have the magic to make our lives better in so many ways. Who knows how musicmay positively change and inspire your life? Thanks for listening, and keep the music playing!篇3Music Changes Our LivesHi everyone! My name is Anna and I'm here today to talk to you about one of my biggest passions - music! I absolutely love music and I think it's one of the most amazing things in the world. But music isn't just fun and entertaining, it can actually change our lives in some really incredible ways.First off, let me say that music makes me happy. Like, really really happy! Whenever I'm feeling sad or upset about something, listening to my favorite songs always cheers me up. The melodies and rhythms just lift my mood. And when I sing or dance along, it's almost impossible to stay in a bad mood. Music is like a magical happiness potion for me!But music doesn't just make me feel good in the moment, it also has longer lasting effects on my emotions and well-being. Studies show that listening to upbeat music can actually reduce feelings of anxiety and depression over time. The positive vibrations from the music get absorbed into our minds andbodies. That's why a lot of therapists use music therapy to help people heal from trauma or mental health struggles.Another way music enhances our lives is by bringing people together. Have you ever been to a live concert before? There's just something incredibly powerful about being surrounded by hundreds or thousands of other people who all share your love for the same band or musician. You feel this amazing sense of community and connection, all through the power of music. Music also brings families and friends together, whether it's singing songs around a campfire, dancing at a wedding, or just jamming out to tunes in the car on a road trip.Music gives us a way to express ourselves and our deepest feelings in a really profound way. Sometimes there are emotions that are too big or complicated to put into words. But then you hear a song that captures that feeling perfectly, and it's like "Yes! That's exactly how I feel!" The songwriters and musicians have created something that resonates so deeply within your soul. It makes you feel understood on a spiritual level. And for people who are shy or struggle with self-expression, music can be an incredible creative outlet to channel their innermost thoughts and emotions. On top of the emotional benefits, music can actually make us smarter too! Playing an instrument is fantastic exercise for our brains. It helps kids develop skills like memory, concentration, coordination, reading comprehension, and pattern recognition. Musicians have been shown to have higher IQs thannon-musicians. And learning to play an instrument from an early age can set kids up for better academic performance in every subject. It's like a full brain workout!Music also teaches important life lessons about discipline, perseverance, and handling constructive criticism. Mastering an instrument or vocal skills takes incredible dedication and countless hours of practice. You have to push through frustrations and failures. You learn that real achievement doesn't come overnight - it's the result of commitment and hard work over a very long period of time. Having that kind of grit and determination will help kids succeed not just in music, but in any path they pursue later in life.Let's talk about the physical effects of music too! Did you know that listening to music can actually lower your blood pressure, reduce stress hormones, and boost your immune system? It's true! The rhythms in music tend to relax your muscle tension and put your mind and body into this calm, centeredstate of consciousness. That's why so many people love putting on chill, ambient music while meditating or doing yoga. It's like a full-body massage for your sense of well-being.Music can even help you sleep better. Lots of people play gentle, soothing music as they're drifting off to bed because it eases you into that relaxed state conducive for good sleep. And during sleep, the brain continues processing the musical patterns and rhythms in really fascinating ways. Some researchers believe listening to specific kinds of music before bed can actually give your brain a little workout while you snooze, boosting your memory and ability to learn new things the next day.So as you can see, music truly does change our lives in so many powerful ways - emotionally, socially, cognitively, and even physically. It brings joy and uplifts our spirits. It connects us with others and allows self-expression. It makes us smarter and teaches discipline. It reduces stress and boosts our health. Music is pretty much a magical, all-purpose tonic for enriching our human experience! That's why music will always be one of my biggest loves and priorities in life. I'm so grateful that I grew up playing instruments and being surrounded by music from an early age. Ithas fundamentally shaped who I am as a person. And I feel enormously lucky to live in a world filled with such an incredible variety of musical genres, artists, and creative expression to explore. So keep listening to music, keep singing, keep dancing, keep playing! Let the music move you, inspire you, challenge you, and leave you in awe of its magic. Because music doesn't just provide a fleeting moment of entertainment - it leaves an imprint on your life forever. Thanks so much for listening, and keep spreading the gift of music everywhere you go!。

The first paragraph
One of my favourite moments of the day is among the last -- the last conscious one, anyway. After several attempts at keeping my eyelids from fluttering closed and the book from collapsing onto my chest, I know it really is time to go to sleep. I affectionately place the book on the bed beside me. We sleep together, me and my book, me and those characters, me and my mixed-up dreams.

myfavouriteday英语作文初一My Favourite DayAs a young student in middle school, there are many days that I enjoyed and hold dear to my heart. However, one of the most unforgettable days that stands out for me is my favourite day. It was an ordinary Saturday morning when I woke up with excitement as my mind raced about the endless possibilities the day had to offer. The first thing I did was grab my phone and put on my favourite music playlist while I prepared breakfast. After having a hearty meal, I decided to take a stroll to my favourite park in the neighbourhood. Along the way, I greeted familiar faces of friends and shopkeepers with bright smiles, something that always made me feel warmly welcomed. When I arrived at the park, it was teeming with life and activity. People were playing sports like basketball and soccer, others were flying kites or picnicking under treesswaying in gentle breeze. As much as all these activities seemed captivating, I decided to treat myself to some moments of peace by taking a relaxing walk around the park while enjoying some deep breaths of fresh air. After leaving the park feeling rejuvenated, I proceeded to indulge myself in some delicious food at a nearby restaurant. The food choices available were plentiful and mouth-watering but I eventually settled on a stir-fry dish which had spicy flavours that tingled all parts of my tongue. The rest of my day was spent having fun with family and friends - watching movies together along with sharing laughs over popcorns while snuggled up under blankets.Reflecting back on this amazing day often fills me with joy as every moment in it was packed with happiness that lasted throughout its entirety. It reminded me how wonderful life can be just by savouring enjoyable moments no matter how small they may seem at first glance. So, that's why “MyFavourite Day” is such an unforgettable memory for me as a middle-school student.。
写一篇关于歌手或者作家的作文英语
写一篇关于歌手或者作家的作文英语全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Favorite Singer: Taylor SwiftHi, my name is Emma and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you all about my favorite singer, Taylor Swift! I just love her so much. She's super talented and writes the most amazing songs. I listen to her music all the time - in the car, at home, everywhere! My mom even lets me stay up late when Taylor has a new album come out so I can listen to it right away.Taylor is just the best. She's beautiful with her curly blonde hair and bright blue eyes. And so stylish too! I love all her cute dresses and high heels she wears on stage and in her music videos. But what I really admire most about Taylor is her incredible songwriting skills.Taylor writes all her own songs and they tell awesome stories through the lyrics. And the melodies are so catchy and get stuck in your head (in a good way!). My favorite Taylor song right now is "Anti-Hero" from her latest album Midnights. The words are so relatable about feeling insecure sometimes and not beingperfect. That's how I feel a lot. Taylor seems to understand exactly what kids my age go through.I've been a huge Swiftie (that's what us Taylor fans call ourselves!) since I was 6 years old. My mom took me to see her Reputation stadium tour when Taylor was promoting her album of the same name. It was the most amazing night of my life! We had floor seats super close to the stage. Taylor opened the show by appearing through a ginormous snake's mouth - how cool is that?! The whole concert was a non-stop party with Taylor singing all her hit songs, dancing around in sparkly outfits, and bringing such positive energy. But my favorite moment was when she played "New Year's Day" on just a small guitar under simple lighting. Her voice sounded like an angel. I'll never forget it.After the show, I was even more obsessed with Taylor than before. I started learning all the words to her songs and watching her music videos on repeat. I covered my bedroom walls with Taylor posters and photos. And of course, I had to get Taylor's latest album at the time, her seventh one called Lover. The title track "Lover" is one of my all-time favorites about being so in love with someone ("We could leave篇2My Favorite Author: J.K. RowlingI absolutely love the Harry Potter books by J.K. Rowling! She is my favorite author of all time. Her magical world of wizards, spells, and talking animals is just so much fun to read about.J.K. Rowling was born in England in 1965. She had a pretty normal childhood, but she's said that she had a very vivid imagination from a young age. She made up all kinds of fantasy stories and tales in her head. Little did she know that one day she would create one of the most beloved book series ever written! The idea for Harry Potter first came to Rowling in 1990 when she was riding on a delayed train. She got the idea for this scrawny little boy who didn't know he was a wizard. How cool is that? From that tiny little thought, an entire gigantic universe was born over the next several years.Rowling's life wasn't all fun and games though. After graduating from university, she had a tough few years where she struggled with being a single mom and dealing with depression and other difficulties. But she kept working on writing the first Harry Potter book every chance she got, often writing in cafes to get out of her small apartment. Finally in 1997, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone was published. It was an instant hit! Kids and adults alike were utterly spellbound by Rowling's rich, captivating storytelling. The books flew off the shelves as each new installment was released over the following decade. What makes the Harry Potter series so incredibly awesome? Well, there's the imaginative magical world that Rowling created, full of ghosts, giants, hippogriffs, and so much more. It's a world that really feels alive and fully-realized. There are also the super cool magical objects and spells, from Harry's invisibility cloak to fun charms like Wingardium Leviosa. But I think the main reason the books are so beloved is the memorable characters. Harry, Ron, and Hermione are not only brave heroes, but also very human characters that много to grow and develop over the course of the series. By the final book, you feel like you've really gone on an incredible journey with them. The villains are great too, from the terrifyingly evil Lord Voldemort to the arrogant bully Draco Malfoy to the slimy Dolores Umbridge. They give the heroes plenty of challenges to face and overcome. Plus, complex characters like Severus Snape really make you question who is good and who is evil.Apart from the magical fantasy world, the stories also deal with universal themes that any kid can relate to - friendship, family, growing up, good vs. evil, and finding the courage to do what's right against seemingly impossible odds. Those are the kinds of powerful, inspiring messages that have resonated with millions upon millions of Harry Potter fans across the globe. On a personal level, the Harry Potter books were a huge part of my childhood. I can vividly remember the nights when my dad would read them out loud to me before bedtime, doing different voices for all the characters. We would get so caught up in the captivating stories of wizarding adventures. Harry, Ron, and Hermione felt like real friends that I was going on a magical journey with.I also have fond memories of going to the midnight book release parties for the final few books in the series with my friends and familly. We'd all dress up as our favorite wizarding characters. The incredible amount of buzz and excitement around those book launches was unlike anything I've experienced before or since. An entire generation was brought together and united by their love for Rowling's epic tale.As I grew up, the Harry Potter books were always there for me too. When I was feeling down, I could reread them and gettransported away to Hogwarts, away from my troubles. They gave me an wonderful imaginative world to escape to where the magical possibilities felt endless.Harry, Ron, and Hermione also inspired me with their courage to stand up for what's right, even when facing bullies or terrifyingly powerful evil forces. They taught me so many valuable lessons about friendship, perseverance, and fighting for what you believe in no matter how daunting the challenges. I'm forever grateful for the life lessons those books imparted. While the Harry Potter series may have officially ended, the wizarding world will always hold a special place in my heart. J.K. Rowling is a trule gifted storyteller who crafted iconic characters and篇3My Favorite Singer: Taylor SwiftTaylor Swift is my absolute favorite singer! She is a super talented songwriter and has the most incredible voice. I love listening to her music and singing along. Taylor's songs are all about important things that kids can relate to like friendship, growing up, and dealing with bullies.Taylor was born on December 13, 1989 in Reading, Pennsylvania. She started writing songs when she was really little, maybe around 5 or 6 years old! Can you imagine writing songs that young? Her first song was called "Monster Under My Bed" which she wrote after having a nightmare. How cool is that? When Taylor was 14 years old, she got a development deal with a record label in Nashville, Tennessee. Nashville is a huge music city, kind of like the capital for country music singers and songwriters. Taylor's family had to move there so she could work on her music career. Her first album came out in 2006 when she was only 16 years old! It was called "Taylor Swift" and had songs like "Tim McGraw", "Teardrops on My Guitar", and "Our Song". I love those early songs because they are all about crushes, heartbreak, and just being a teenager. So relatable! After her first album was a huge hit, Taylor started winning tons of awards and getting really famous. She has won 11 Grammy Awards, which are kind of like the Oscars but just for music instead of movies. Taylor is the first female artist ever to win Album of the Year at the Grammys three times! She has also won 34 American Music Awards, 29 Billboard Music Awards, and many others. Basically, she is the biggest star in the world.Part of the reason Taylor is so successful is because she writes all her own music. Her lyrics are amazing and heartfelt. She gets inspiration from her life experiences, especially her relationships and breakups. Some of her most popular relationship songs are "You Belong With Me", "Back to December", "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together", and the entire "Red" album which is about dealing with an intense breakup. My personal favorites are the songs about friendship though. "You Are In Love" is about being happy for your friend when they find love. "Never Grow Up" is about missing your childhood friends as you get older. And "The Best Day" is a beautiful song showing appreciation for her mom. Taylor seems like such a loyal friend!Over the years, Taylor's music style has changed from country to more pop. Her recent albums like "Reputation", "Lover", "Folklore", and "Midnights" show her versatility as an artist. No matter what genre she is working in, Taylor's lyrics stay extremely relatable, catchy, and emotional.Another reason I admire Taylor is for standing up against bullies and negativity. She has dealt with Internet trolls, sexist comments, feuds with other celebrities, and people bodyshaming her looks. But she doesn't let the haters get her down. Instead, she uses her platform to inspire her fans and spread a message of accepting yourself. The "Shake It Off" music video famously pokes fun at people criticizing her dancing and persona.Taylor is also an amazing performer. Her concerts are like a Broadway musical with beautiful costumes, choreographed dancers, flying stunts, and giant video screens. She travels all around the world on tour but still plays in small venues sometimes to connect with her fans up close. I really want to go to one of her shows someday! In conclusion, Taylor Swift is a role model for kids (and adults) everywhere. She works incredibly hard, pursues her passions, writes meaningful lyrics, blocks out negativity, formed a strong bond with her fans, and stays grounded through her massive success. Her music makes me feel accepted, understood, and hopeful for the future. I hope she keeps creating amazing songs for many more years to come. Thanks for being you, Taylor!篇4My Favorite Singer: Taylor SwiftHi there! My name is Emma, and I'm 10 years old. Today, I want to tell you all about my favorite singer, Taylor Swift. She's not just a singer, though; she's also a songwriter, and her lyrics are so powerful and meaningful. I've been a fan of hers ever since I was a little girl, and I don't think I'll ever stop loving her music!Taylor Swift was born on December 13, 1989, in Reading, Pennsylvania. She grew up on a Christmas tree farm with her parents and her younger brother, Austin. Can you imagine how much fun it must have been to live on a Christmas tree farm? I bet it was like being in a winter wonderland all year round! When Taylor was around 10 years old, just like me, she started writing songs and learning how to play the guitar. Her first big break came when she was 14 years old. She had the chance to perform some of her original songs at a talent show in Philadelphia, and that's where she was discovered by a music manager. After that, everything just fell into place for her!In 2006, when she was only 16 years old, Taylor released her first studio album called "Taylor Swift." It was an instant hit, and she became a household name almost overnight. Songs like "Teardrops on My Guitar" and "Our Song" were so catchy and relatable, especially for teenagers like me.One of the things I love most about Taylor Swift is how honest and genuine her lyrics are. She writes about her life experiences, her relationships, and her emotions in such a raw and vulnerable way. It's like she's speaking directly to my heart, and I can relate to so many of her songs. For example, her song "Shake It Off" is all about not letting the haters and the bullies get you down. It's such an empowering and uplifting song, and it always puts me in a good mood whenever I listen to it. Taylor has a way of making you feel like you're not alone, and that's why her music resonates with so many people around the world.Another thing that's amazing about Taylor Swift is how she interacts with her fans. She's known for going above and beyond to make her fans feel special and appreciated. She often hosts secret sessions where she invites small groups of fans to her home to preview her new music before it's released. She also frequently leaves surprise gifts and handwritten notes for fans at her shows or at random places around the world. It's like areal-life treasure hunt for Swifties (that's what her fans are called)! But Taylor isn't just a talented musician; she's also an incredible role model. She's outspoken about issues likewomen's rights, LGBTQ+ equality, and political activism. She encourages her fans to use their voices and stand up for what they believe in. Taylor has also been involved in various charitable causes, including supporting education, disaster relief efforts, and protecting the environment. One of my favorite Taylor Swift moments was when she won the Album of the Year award at the 2016 Grammy Awards for her album "1989." During her acceptance speech, she gave some powerful advice to young women everywhere. She said, "There are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame. But if you just focus on the work and you don't let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you're going, you'll look around and you'll know it was you and the people who love you who put you there. And that will be the greatest feeling in the world."Those words really stuck with me, and they remind me to always believe in myself and not let anyone or anything hold me back from achieving my dreams.Taylor Swift is more than just a singer; she's a storyteller, a trendsetter, and a role model. Her music has been the soundtrack to my childhood, and I know it will continue to be apart of my life as I grow older. Whenever I'm feeling happy, sad, or anywhere in between, I can always turn on one of Taylor's songs and find comfort and inspiration in her lyrics. So, if you're ever looking for some good music to listen to, or if you're going through a tough time and need some words of encouragement, I highly recommend checking out Taylor Swift's discography. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! She's truly one of the most talented and inspiring artists of our generation, and I'm so grateful to have her music in my life. That's all for now, folks! I hope you enjoyed learning a little bit about my favorite singer, Taylor Swift. Until next time, keep on singing and dancing like no one's watching!篇5My Favorite Singer: Taylor SwiftHi, my name is Emma and I'm 10 years old. Today I want to tell you about my favorite singer of all time - Taylor Swift! I've been a huge fan of hers since I was really little. My mom used to play her songs in the car when I was a baby and I would giggle and dance around in my car seat. As I got older, I started really listening to the lyrics and loving her music even more.Taylor is now 33 years old, but she started writing songs and singing when she was just a kid like me. Can you believe it? She wrote her first song called "Lucky You" when she was only 12 years old. That's just two years older than I am now! I think it's so cool that she discovered her passion for music at such a young age.Not only is Taylor an amazing singer, but she's also an incredible songwriter. She has written or co-written every single one of her songs. That's over 200 songs! Her lyrics are like poetry and she has a way of putting feelings into words that really speaks to me as a young girl. A lot of her songs are about growing up, falling in love, having your heart broken, and finding yourself. Even though I'm still a kid, I can relate to a lot of the emotions she sings about. Some of my all-time favorite Taylor songs are "Love Story," "You Are In Love," "Shake It Off," and her latest hits from her albums Folklore and Evermore like "Cardigan" and "Willow." Whenever I listen to Taylor's music, it instantly lifts my mood and makes me want to sing and dance around my room. Her voice is just so pretty and magical. Not only is Taylor's music incredible, but she seems like such a nice, fun person in real life too. She's not afraid to be goofy orsilly, which I really admire. In all her videos and interviews, she comes across as someone I'd want to be friends with. She's been open about dealing with issues like anxiety, bullies, and critics, which has helped me get through tough times. Taylor makes me proud to be a young girl going after her dreams, just like she did.Another reason I look up to Taylor is because of how generous and caring she is to her fans. She goes out of her way to make them feel special, like recording personal video messages, giving hugs, and remembering their names. She has donated millions of dollars to charity over the years too. It's clear she really cares about making a positive difference in the world.I could honestly go on and on about why Taylor Swift is my biggest inspiration and role model. If you're looking for an amazing singer-songwriter to get into, I highly recommend checking out Taylor's music. Her songs are catchy, relatable, and storytelling at its finest. With any luck, you'll become a Swiftie just like me!I hope you enjoyed learning a little bit about my favorite singer. Taylor has gotten me through so many ups and downs already in my short life. I can't wait to keep growing up with her music to guide me through all the joys and struggles ofbecoming a teenager and young adult. Thanks for reading and I'll talk to you later!篇6My Favorite Author: J.K. RowlingHi there! My name is Jamie, and I'm 10 years old. Today, I want to tell you all about my favorite author, J.K. Rowling. She's the one who wrote the Harry Potter books, and I just love her so much!I first got into Harry Potter when I was about 7 years old. My mom started reading the first book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, to me before bedtime. At first, I wasn't sure if I would like it because it was a really thick book with hardly any pictures. But after just a few chapters, I was hooked! The story is about a young boy named Harry Potter who finds out on his 11th birthday that he's a wizard. He gets invited to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. At Hogwarts, Harry makes two best friends named Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Together, they go on all sorts of magical adventures, learn how to cast spells, play Quidditch (which is like soccer but on broomsticks!), and fight against the evil Dark wizard named Voldemort. What I love most about the Harry Potter books is how creative and imaginative they are. J.K. Rowling came up with the most wonderful wizarding world, filled with things like talking paintings, ghosts, hippogriffs (which are half-horse, half-eagle creatures), magic wands, and so much more. Whenever I'm reading her books, I feel like I'm being transported into that fantastical world right alongside Harry, Ron and Hermione. It's just the best feeling ever!Another thing I really admire about J.K. Rowling is how she develops the characters so well. The three main characters -- Harry, Ron and Hermione -- feel like real people, almost like friends. You see them grow up throughout the seven books, going through all the ups and downs of friendship, family issues, teen romances, and bigger real-world problems too. I think a lot of kids (and adults!) are able to relate to the characters on a deep level because of how well Rowling wrote them.On top of being an incredible storyteller, J.K. Rowling is also a huge inspiration to me. You see, she didn't always have an easy life. Before she became a super famous author, she was a single mom living off of welfare. She has spoken openly about her struggles with things like depression, divorce and being really poor when she started writing the first Harry Potter book. Butshe never gave up on her dream of becoming a writer. It makes me so happy that all of her hard work, determination and believing in herself paid off in the end.Because of J.K. Rowling's passion for writing and telling stories, she was able to create something truly special and magical that brings joy to millions of readers around the world. Her books showed me that through reading, you can go on the most amazing adventures, even if you're just sitting at home. Whenever I'm feeling down or bored, I can pick up a Harry Potter book and instantly get transported away. How cool is that?In my opinion, J.K. Rowling is hands-down the best author ever. Her imagination seems to have no limits, and she crafts the most spellbinding tales (pun definitely intended!). The Harry Potter series will always hold a special place in my heart. I really hope that one day, I can become an author just like her and create stories that inspire people's creativity and spirit of adventure, the way she has done for me.If you haven't read the Harry Potter books yet, then I highly recommend you go check them out right now! You're seriously missing out. Thanks for reading my essay, and remember: Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus (which means "never tickle a sleeping dragon" in Latin)!。

My Favourite Hobby: PhotographyPhotography has always been a passion of mine, a hobby that I cherish and devote considerable time to. The art of capturing moments, freezing them in time, and then sharing those moments with others is what吸引s me to photography. It is a medium that allows me to express my creativity, observe the world with a different perspective, andpreserve memories that would otherwise fade with time.I remember the first time I held a camera in my hands. It was a simple point-and-shoot model, but it felt like the most powerful tool I had ever encountered. The click of the shutter, the feel of the camera in my hands, and the anticipation of seeing the result – it was all so exciting. Since then, my love for photography has grown exponentially. My camera has become my constant companion, capturing every aspect of my life – from the beauty of nature to the warmth of human connections. I find myself constantly onthe lookout for compositions, angles, and lighting thatwill bring out the best in a scene. The challenge of capturing something ordinary in an extraordinary way keeps me engaged and excited about photography. One of my favourite aspects of photography is the ability to tell stories through images. A photograph can evoke strong emotions and memories, even if the viewer is not present at the moment it was taken. I find it fascinating how a single image can capture a mood, an emotion, or a moment in time and transport the viewer to another place or time.Over the years, I have developed a deep appreciation for the art of photography. I admire the work of photographers who have the ability to see beyond the obvious and capture the essence of a subject. Their work inspires me to push my own boundaries and experiment with new techniques and styles.Photography has also become a way for me to connect with people. Sharing my photos online has allowed me to engage with a community of fellow photographers, who appreciate and critique my work. The feedback and encouragement from this community have been invaluable in helping me improve my skills and develop my own unique style. In conclusion, photography is not just a hobby for me; it is a passion that shapes my world and brings joy and fulfillment to my life. It allows me to express my creativity, capture moments that are dear to me, and share them with others. As long as there are moments to capture and stories to tell, I will continue to pursue this hobby with enthusiasm and dedication.**摄影:我最喜爱的爱好**摄影一直是我热衷的爱好,是我珍视并投入大量时间的兴趣所在。

These fears were very real and caused me some uncomfortable moments.Maybe it was the strange way things looked and sounded in my own room at night that scared me so much. There was never complete darkness, but always a streetlight or passing car lights, which made clothes on the back of a chair take on the shape of a wild animal. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw the curtains(窗帘)seem to move when there was no wind. A very low sound in the floor would seem a hundred times louder than in the day. My imagination(想象)would lie very still so that the “enemy(敌人)” would not discover me.Another of my childhood fears was that I would get lost, especially on the way home from school. Every morning I got on the school bus right near my home. That was no problem. After school, though, when all the buses were lined up along the street, I was afraid that I would get on the wrong one and be taken to some other strange places. On school or family trips to a park or a museum, I wouldn’t let the leaders out of my sight.Perhaps one of the worst fears of all I had as a child was that of not being liked or accepted by others. Being popular was so important to me then, and the fear of not being liked was a serious one.One of the processes(过程)of growing up is being able to realize and overcome our fears. Understanding the things that scared us as children helps us achieve greater success later in life. 21.The author had _________ kind(s) of fears when she was a child.A.one B.twoC.three D.none22.__________ would scare the author at night.A.Streetlights and car lightsB.Wild animals and enemiesC.Moving curtains and windD.Strange sights and sounds23.When she went to some other places, she would _________.A.walk away without othersB.take a bus by herselfC.follow others closelyD.make sure not to take a wrong bus24.The underlined word “overcome” means “_______” in Chinese.A.接受B.忍受C.信服D.克服25.From this story we learn that it’s important to __________.A.care for othersB.share with othersC.help othersD.scare othersBDo you enjoy the warmth of the sun on a winter’s day? In winter it can be hard to catch many rays (光线), but spending time in sunlight helps your body stay healthy and makes you feel happy. Every summer I would go to stay with them, while my parents continued working. Although I missed my parents, I used to really enjoy spending time with my grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles. I spent all summer there, nearly two whole months, so from time to time my cousins and I would get bored. We would ask my grandparents if they had any ideas for interesting things we could do. Sometimes they suggested going for a bike ride, sometimes into town to do some shopping. At other times, they showed us a new game to play. Then we were happy again. One day - it must be about 12 years ago (doesn't time fly!) - all of us got really, really bored and we kept complaining to my grandparents. They were tearing their hair out, trying to think up ideas of where we could go and what we could do. Suddenly, my granddad came up with the idea of going to a new water park that had opened that summer. I hadn't heard about it but mycousins had, and they told me all about it. It was a park with vast numbers of different pools, some inside, some outside. There were water slides as well. And, on top of there was not one, but two playgrounds with swings, a merry-go-round, see-saws. We were so excited. We set off and on the way we were all singing songs and laughing. We couldn't wait to get there. When we arrived, my cousins and I ran into the park and changed into our swimming costumes. Then we went looking for the most exciting-looking pool, and we found it, one with brightly coloured tiles and slides, we jumped straight in. We played all day in the park and had a lovely lunch, sat on some benches in the sunshine. My granddad loved a pool that was filled with spa water. It was dark brown and stank of rotten eggs. I didn't want to go in but he eventually convinced me. I'm pleased he did because the water was really warm. I'd never swam in water that warm. I didn't want to get out, despite the terrible smell.I consider it such a happy memory because we enjoyed ourselves so much and I remember so vividly how I felt that day. But there's more to it than just that. When I look back now, I understand how caring my grandparents were and how much they wanted us all to be happy. They would have done anything to help us have a good time. I appreciate that more now that I'm older and have children of my own. I hope we thanked them; I can't remember. But, anyway, they were content, I'm sure, to just watch us have an amazing time, playing and laughing in the water. So, as you can see, it was a wonderful day and is one of my favourite childhood memories.雅思口语Part2参考答案之难忘的童年经历一、参考范文Childhood is a time when everything is magical and pleasant. The possibility and dreams are vast and things become happier in childhood. Everybody has childhood memories and among them some are pleasant and some are sad. I have various childhood memories and I would like to talk about my childhood memory related to my first day at school.I was about 5 years old when my parents got me admitted ina local school. I had a fascination of going to school from 3-4 years as I recall and when my father finally announced that I'll get admitted in the coming January, I felt like being in heaven.I imagined school would be a great place and I would have lots of friends and I would study there. On the day, my parents took me to the school that I had saw many times from outside but never entered. After entering the school, I find myself anxious about everything.I was unsure what to do, who to talk to, what to do when the teachers would ask questions and many such things. After my father submitted some necessary papers and fees to the admission department, they gave me new books, a temporary Identity Card and a syllabus. I started feeling comfortable after I found that some of our neighboring kids were already in this very school and they came to me and talked to me. This took place at my hometown where I grew up and I had been to this school for the next 4 years. To my surprise one of the teachers asked my parents to leave me and told me to attend the classes. I was not at all prepared to join the class but I found I had little choice over that. My parents spent few times and advised me how to behave, how to listen to teachers and many more tips. After my parents abandoned me, I was frightened for few moments and sat at a corner of the class. The teacher asked to come forward and introduce myself. I found I was unable to walk and talk. But in few minutes my hesitation got away and I was talking about myself. The teacher appreciated me and some of the new classmates came forward and greeted me. I started enjoying the class and teachers and found that I started loving my school. Later on I got admitted in college, university and many other places but the memory of first day at primary school was totally different and I still remember the day evidently.二、答题思路Tips for answering this cue card topic:You are asked to talk about any event from your childhood which you still remember. Whether it's a thriller that keeps me on the edge of my seat or a philosophical novel that challenges my way of thinking, reading allows me to escape into different worlds and explore ideas that are both thought-provoking and entertaining. Hiking allows me to appreciate the beauty of the world we live in, while also providing a great workout for my body and mind. The challenge of scaling a mountain or traversing through dense forests makes the journey even more rewarding.Lastly, I cherish the time I spend with my family and friends during the holidays. These are the moments that truly matter, when we can set aside our differences andjust be present with each other. We cook together, watchmovies, play games, and share stories that bind us closer. 月圆夜 望明月寄相思 英语
月圆夜望明月寄相思英语A bright full moon hangs in the night sky, casting its gentle light over the world. It is the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival, a time when families gather, friends reunite, and lovers embrace the beauty of the moon. As I gaze at the magnificent sight, a wave of melancholy fills my heart, for the moon reminds me of someone distant and dear – you, my love.Under the pale moonlight, memories of our time together flood my mind. I recall the countless evenings we spent admiring this same moon, its glow reflecting in our eyes as we shared stories and dreams. Amidst laughter and whispered promises, we made a vow to always be there for each other, no matter the distance that might separate us. And tonight, as I stand alone beneath the moon's ethereal glow, I can't help but yearn for your presence by my side. The moon, with its serene beauty, has always been a medium through which lovers express their deepest emotions. It has witnessed countless tales of love and longing, providing solace to those yearning for a connection. Like a bridge between two hearts, it silently carries the message of love across vast distances. What would I give to be able to send my thoughts to you through this moonlit night, to let you know that even though we are physically apart, my heart is always with you?As the autumn wind rustles the leaves and the moonlight dances on the ground, I find myself reminiscing about our shared moments of joy and sorrow. Each fragmented memory, like a twinkling star in the night sky, illuminates the path of our love. I remember the laughter we shared as we chased fireflies in a moonlit garden andthe tears we shed as we bid each other farewell at the airport. These memories are etched in my heart, and the moon's brilliance intensifies their presence.Tonight, as the moon shines its brightest, I feel compelled to whisper my innermost thoughts to the night sky. I send my love and longing to the celestial body that mirrors my emotions. It carries my whispers on its soft moonbeams and delivers them to you, wherever you may be. With every passing moment, my desire to hold you close grows stronger, and I hope that one day, the moon's magic will reunite us under its watchful gaze. The Mid-Autumn Festival, with its mythical tales and festivities, has always held a special place in my heart. But tonight, as I stand here alone beneath the moon, I realize that it is not the grandeur of the festivities or the mooncakes that make this night extraordinary. It is the knowledge that this celestial body, shining down upon us, connects lovers across time and space. It is a reminder that love transcends physical presence, and with each passing moment, it only grows stronger. And so, as I gaze up at the moon, I send my thoughts and love to you. I hope that in this magical night, you can also feel my presence and know that my heart is never far from yours. Until the day when we can be together again, let the moon be our guiding light and our source of comfort. Together, we will endure the longing and cherish the memories, for true love knows no boundaries, not even the vastness of the night sky.。

Reading in bed seems to run in families. The last time my mother babysat for me, I got home to find the house dark except for two small lights. One came from my son's room, where I discovered the eight-year-old holed up under the covers with Goosebumps and a flashlight. At the other end of the house, my mother had already dozed off with her book. Somewhere in the middle is me, a grown-up version of the girl who used to camp out under covers with Nancy Drew, a foreshadowing of a baby-sitting grandma whose sons will come home to find Mom snoozing contentedly beneath her paperback. Instead of arranging my books into traditional categories -- fiction and nonfiction, novels and short stories, self-improvement and pleasure -- I divide my bedside reading into books that put you to sleep and those that keep you up. Both have their place. Just last night I picked up a slender but densely written volume of literary criticism for the knockout punch I knew it would deliver. At the other end of the spectrum are the suspense heavy plots that keep you turning pages into the single-digit hours -- crime novels, love stories, comedies of manners, narrators so charming
you cannot bear to quit them, worlds so richly drawn you cannot bear to leave.。
