(三)新授1、polite(1)课件出示新同学Oliver向同学们打招呼的场景导入新词polite,并用已学过的单词potato和like教授新词polite的发音。

(2)课件出示Lily向老师鞠躬问好的场景,并问学生“What's Lily like?”待学生作答后告诉学生,在生活中应该做个有礼貌的孩子。

2、helpful(1)课件出示Zhang Peng向同学提供帮助的场景引入新词helpful,同时用已学单词beautiful和help帮助学生掌握helpful的发音。

(2)课件出示小男孩让座的情景问学生“What's the boy like?”,引导学生作答“He is polite and helpful.”。

3、hard-working(1)课件出示班里一名同学下课了仍在学习的情景导入新词hard-working,并问学生“What's he like?”,根据学生的答语逐步引导学生作答“He is hard-working.”,同时用已学单词doctor和car来降低新词的发音难度。

Unit 5 What’s he like?B Read and Write教学设计一、整体设计思路指导思想:本节课学生通过听、说、读、表演等形式理解文本内容,并在学习的过程中,运用本单元所学的词句进行表达。

同时,扩展新文本,以发展学生的语言能力、学习能力和思维能力。

整体设计思路:本节课是人教版五年级上册第一单元What’s he like? Part B Read and write 阅读课新授内容。

本节课话题是机器人,以学生感兴趣的机器人变形金刚、阿童木、哆啦A梦和大白导入,谈论话题What’s his name? What’s he like and What can he do? 后引入Robin,也通过三个问题,在听和读的过程中学习文本内容;并与第四单元read and write Who can be my friend?结合,找到关键句并回答What can he do?通过思维导图复述文章后,让学生展示自己设计的机器人并与同桌讨论,再在班上展示介绍自己的机器人。

最后与同学们谈论生活中的机器人,并激发学生想象,将来的机器人可以做什么?以此为契机,鼓励学生将来设计自己的机器人。

本课的目的是希望学生通过听、说、读、表演等,合作学习,积极交流,用英语描述和谈论自己熟知的人,培养学生的学习能力、思维能力和语言能力。
