培元中学2019年秋教学公开周校际教学观摩研讨活动教学设计开课老师陈茂峰开课时间2019年10月15日星期二下午第3节课型读写课集备时间2019年10月8日星期一设计主题Superhero,PBL大单元下的阅读教学,Heroes, Unit 2, Module 11.整体设计思路、指导依据说明《普通高中英语课程标准2017年版》明确提出:“主题为语言学习提供主题范围或主题语境。
学生对主题意义的探究应是学生学习语言的最重要内容。
”本单元Heroes,以“人与自我”主题语境下,“做人与做事”中的“优秀品行,正确的人生态度与社会责任”的内容要求为题。
“单元是承载主题意义的基本单位”《课标2017》。
本单元设计中,围绕“优秀品行,正确的人生态度与社会责任”这一内容要求,充分挖掘、提炼教学内容中所涉及的人物所共有的优秀品行,引导学生学习优秀的品行,建立正确的人生态度和社会责任。
为了能够更好地达到设计目的,在PBL(Project-based Learning,项目化教学设计)教育思想的思路下,对教材内容进行整合,并引入“A Medical Pioneer”,“Heroes Among Us: When Ordinary People Become Extraordinary”,和“Even Today, We Want Our Heroes to Know Right from Wrong”三篇课外泛读材料。
这样,在教材已有教学内容(national heroes, history makers, sports heroes, film heroes等)之外,增加了scientific pioneers, heroes in daily life,及sympathetic villains and flawed heroes的内容,建立了一个更加完整合理的主题语境教学系统,形成一个有利于学生开展合作学习、自主学习、深度探究的单元整体设计、整体教学的“PBL大单元教学设计”。

通过本课的学习,让学生了解Christopher Reeve成长之路,渲染出一种积极向上的生活态度及博爱的理念。
二、学情分析学生因刚从初中毕业进入高中阶段学习,对学习英语的热情及兴趣相当高涨,课堂较为积极、活跃,课堂气氛相当好,平时上课能与老师形成较为默契的配合。
经过三年的初中学习,已具备一定的阅读能力。
同时,从这篇课文所涉及的内容来看,对学生还是有相当的吸引力和了解的欲望。
因此,在设计这堂课时,要着重从激发学生的兴趣出发,介绍有关的背景知识,给学生布置具有挑战性的任务,让学生以话题(my favorite star)为素材进行讨论或口笔头描述,使他们从活动中悟出这堂课的实质。
三、教学目标认知目标:(1)通过课文复习一般过去时和现在完成时的用法。
(2)通过阅读文章,找出exercise1的答案,对课文进行进一步理解,以便提高学生的阅读水平。
