Lesson22The Great Wall教材依据本课为冀教版七年级英语下册第三单元Having Fun in Beijing中的第六课The Great Wall.设计思路本课是介绍丹尼一行人在长城游玩的故事,是一篇较长的课文,重点短语和句子较多,所以学生对课文的理解和重点词语的运用是重点。
本节课设计以了解长城为主线来展开教学活动。
长城是中国古代文明的象征,以了解它为主线能高度吸引学生的注意力,调动学生学习的兴趣和积极性。
课堂中我运用多媒体创设情境,积极调动学生开口说英语的热情;通过讨论让学生了解长城,体会探究学习的乐趣;通过任务型听力训练理解课文大意,并学会自主学习;最后通过归纳总结巩固本节课所学知识。
教学目标知识目标1、掌握本课的新单词、短语及句型。
2、了解长城,会说关于长城的一句中国谚语。
能力目标1、学会用英语指路。
2、培养学生良好的学习习惯。
情感目标1、培养学生学习英语的信心,激励学生进步。

Some portions north of Beijing and near tourist centers have been preserved and even extensively renovated, in many locations the Wall is in disrepair. Those parts might serve as a village playground or a source of stones to rebuild houses and roads. Sections of the Wall are also prone to graffiti and vandalism, while inscribed bricks were pilfered and sold on the market for up to 50 renminbi. Parts have been destroyed because the Wall is in the way of construction More than 60km of the wall in Gansu province may disappear in the next 20 years, due to erosion from sandstorms. In places, the height of the wall has been reduced from more than 5 metres to less than 2 metres .Various square lookout towers that characterize the most famous images of the wall have disappeared.
