八年级英语下册unit 3 What were you doing when the UFOarrived?单元话题作文设计徐闻县第一中学王芳芳一、本单元话题分析本单元的话题是“Interesting events”,通过单元学习,要求学生掌握如何用过去时态谈论过去发生的事情,并能运用过去时态讲述一个故事。

语法结构要求掌握由when 和while引导的时间状语从句、过去进行时以及一般过去时。

在了解目标语言的基础上,要求学生能读懂描述过去经历的文章,并进行模仿写作训练,描述一段不寻常的经历。

Section A 1a通过让学生把几个不同的人及其在UFO出现的相应位置进行配对,初步呈现本单元的目标语言,即talk about past events。

1c是一个会话活动,让学生练习when 和while引导的时间状语从句和过去进行时的表达法。

3b是对学生目标语言运用能力的检验,要求学生能看图口头复述故事。

4是一个小组活动,让学生结合自己的生活实际,以采访的形式练习过去进行时的用法。

Section B 2c要求学生仿照例句谈论2a中列出的行为,练习while引导的时间状语从句的用法。

1)整理思路——组织素材Interesting events的话题是回忆我们过去生活中有趣的话题,作为学生都有自己的兴趣爱好,回忆什么?当时你在做什么?指导建议:本单元话题是谈论过去发生的事情,运用when 和while引导的时间状语从句、过去进行时以及一般过去时。

2)规划文章结构——列出提纲由于已经基本确定要写的内容,文章开头用一句话说明自己过去某一时候,你在什么地方;主体部分重点阐述过去某一时候,你在做什么。

3)组织语言——起草文章罗列出学过的兴趣爱好的短语,学生动笔写作,老师走动观察学生写作情况,解决学生写作时出现的问题。

4)集体批改——同伴批改修订——形成二稿——展示学生互评后,老师抽样与全班同学一起点评,指导学生如何批改,学生从中也学会了怎样写好作文(如何找到作文的错误的地方或不足点,同时也要找到该作品的亮点)。
