Should it be Allowed to Keep Pets on Campus

Keeping pets on campus has grown into a fashion, more and more students bring pets into campus, which, as far as I am concerned, should not be allowed. Considering the effect on learning, family and school, the essay will illustrate them in detail.

Firstly, certainly, keeping pets on campus will affect one’s study. As we all know, time is limited and there are only four months every term for one to finish his courses and all tests. It is reported that a pet keeper must spend 3 hours on his pet every day at least. The further, some students, in order not to influence their teacher and classmates they must go to class without their pets and they will be absent-mindedness because of worrying abouttheir pets.

Apart from that keeping pets on campus will add one’s family burden even destroy his future. It is reported that some students who are not rich still keep pets just in order to catch the fashion. Lily, living with her mother is one of them, she usually escape from class to take part time job for her dog’s clothes, and her mother must work over time every day for its dinner, what’s worse, she was sent to prison for stealing money for her dog’s necklace. Her life was destroyed by her dog absolutely.

The last but not least, keeping pets on campus will bring harm to one’s school. Many graduate students prefer to choose the university whose learning atmosphere is good rather than where is full of pets. With the old saying one takes on the color of his company, they can fall into studying easily with good learning atmosphere; on the contrary, it is rather difficult for them to get good grades in a school which is full of pets.

In conclusion, keeping pets on campus should not be allowed in that it not only influents one’s own study but also his future; and it not only increases one’s family’s burden but also bring harm to his school’s reputation.
