2015年雅思写作大作文真题解析要点
2015年6月6日雅思写作(一)题目类别society 提问方式Discussion考试题目Some people prefer to provide help and support directly to those in their local community who needit. Others, however prefer to give money to national and international charitable organizations.Discuss both views and give your opinion.有人认为给需要救助的人自己的帮助更加可取,有人认为给有需求的国家或国际援助组织提供经济援助更加重要,讨论两种观点,给出你的意见。
Although people in industrialized countries lead a high standard of living, it is undeniable that there are still 1.2 billion people living below the poverty line. In order to solve poverty-related problems, I feel that all kinds of help should be encouraged and respected.Giving a helping hand to those who are in need in the local community seems reasonable. It is because even in the richest countries, there are still a lot of people, such as disabled people and orphanages, suffering from famine and extreme poverty. For this reason, it is easy and convenient for us to help our fellow citizens, such as donating food or clothing to them, so that we can see the result of our actions immediately. By contrast, it is rather difficult to track expenditure of international aids, which might result in corruption in some cases. Those who donate money to domestic and international charities believe that the collection of money has a tremendous effect on the poor countries compared with other forms of help. This is because few people are able to donate a large amount of money to construct schools, hospitals and roads in poor areas. Instead, governments and charities can achieve this. International aids can also purchase vaccines which are available in developed countries by using the money raised worldwide and save millions children’s life.In my view, minor proportion of donated money and other sorts of help should be appreciated equally as long as the money reaches to those who need it desperately. The government could run campaign and encourage door-to door help. At the same time, charitable organizations should make every penny count for donors.(word count:274)2015年6月6日雅思写作Developing countries require help offered by international organizations to ensure healthy and sustainable development. 2015年5月30日托福写作真题回顾综合写作讨论一种giant bird 会不会飞。
Sample answer:The reading and listening discuss about the possible explanations regarding to whether the giant bird can fly. The passage mentions three observations to demonstrate why the giant bird cannot fly.Whereas, the professor totally refutes the three reasons presented in the passage.Firstly, the professor rebuts the reading’s idea that the giant bird has lifting-off problems, for its wingspan is too large, thus it cannot fly. The professor claims the giant bird takes off by running start, which is indicated by its big feet and bones.Secondly, the professor contradicts reading’s statement that the giant bird does not possess strong muscle structures to support its continuous fight. The professor mentions that the giant bird can catch a so-called warm current in the air just like eagles do, and it can keep flying without moving its wings. At last, the passage states that according to Darwin's Theory of Evolution, every species evolves its useful advantages, and the giant bird’s wings are useless in hunting for preys or in avoiding the threats from predators, so it cannot fly. However, the professor explains that wings bring benefits to the giant bird. Because the bird preys on dead animals, so it needs to cover long distance to look for food in large areas.独立写作:外朗教育,让学习动起来!/。

Generally, the class size in primary school was slightly larger than that in lower secondary school in the world average category. It is clear that only two Asian countries’ figures were higher than the world average in terms of average number in primary school (26), with 34 in South Korea and 27 persons in Japan respectively, followed closely by Britain (22). Meanwhile, the figures for Denmark and Mexico were similar, at nearly 21 persons. Finally, Iceland had the smallest class size compared with other countries, with only around 15 pupils having a class at the same time. As for the class size in lower secondary schools, South Korea still had the largest figure, with 36 students. By contrast, Iceland had the lowest number, at only a half of South Korea’s. Also, the numbers in Japan and Mexico both exceeded that of world average, a little higher than 30. Overall, South Korea had the biggest class size while Iceland had the smallest in two types of schools in the given chart. Only UK and Denmark’s class sizes in primary schools were slightly larger than that in their lower secondary schools. Task 2 Travelling abroad has become a new lifestyle nowadays. However, complaints about the potential negative effects of international travel have been sparked among the public in recent years. This essay will outline two main reasons for these complaints and provide certain measures to change the opinion. First of all, it is a widespread phenomenon that foreign travellers might repel the local community because of their inappropriate languages and behaviour in some resorts. Due to the cultural differences, visitors’ behavior may break traditional rules in travel destinations sometimes. For example, a visitor will annoy an Indian when he passes food by his left hand. For this reason, the local government can take actions to provide more specific travelling tips in popular scene spots for foreign travellers. In addition, more and more transnational travels will cause damage to the unique nature of a culture. Foreign visitors will bring not only tangible matters like food and clothes but also something intangible, such as their festivals or customs. In other words, these visitors are assimilating their country’s culture while they are travelling abroad, which will be bound to cause antipathy in racist society. Germany is a case in point. For this reason, the government can encourage locals to hold a tolerant attitude toward foreign arrivals as they have no common knowledge of local conventions in most times. Travelling is for cultural communication instead of invasion. In conclusion, breaking conventions and cultural uniqueness are the two main factors leading to the bias regarding international tourism. Both governments and individuals should make an effort to change this phenomenon.。
