like/ alike像
like通常作介词，alike通常作形容词。
Your coat is like mine = Your coat and my coat is alike.
the same as/ different from与…相同/不同
形容词的比较级和最高级的变化规则如下：
（1）大多数单元音节的形容词的比较级最高级是在原形的后面加上-er, -est比如：small-smaller-smallest, large-larger-largest.
（2）在重读闭音节中，辅音加元音的单词中，双写辅音字母，然后加-er,-est例如：hot-hotter-hottest, big-bigger-biggest.
