3 膜分离技术的特点
膜分离过程是一种无相变、低能耗、操作简单的物理分离 过程,兼具分离、浓缩和纯化的功能。与传统分离方法相比较, 膜分离技术可以大幅度削减污染物排放量,尤其在传统方法难
定的缺陷和不足。如膜表面抗污染能力差易受到污染,从而使 膜性能降低甚至丧失离子选择能力;膜的耐药性、耐热性有限, 使其使用范围受到限制,单独采用膜分离技术效果有限;膜的 强度差、寿命短、价格昂贵,使得大规模推广应用受到限制[10]。
4 膜分离技术的分类
膜分离技术可根据传质驱动力的不同,分为压力驱动膜和 电驱动膜。其中,压力驱动膜包含微滤、超滤、纳滤、反渗透;电 驱动膜主要是离子交换膜。利用压力驱动膜在不同压力下的表 现,可在工业废水不同处理阶段中分别使用,实现不同物理化学 性能物料的选择性分离。各种分离膜的性质如表 1 所示。目前, 在工业领域中最为常用的膜分离技术为超滤、微滤、纳滤、反渗 透及离子交换膜。各类膜在水处理领域均有广泛的研究和应用。 我国的膜产业体系庞大,其中反渗透膜 (RO) 占据 50% 左右的 市场,超滤膜 (UF)、纳滤膜 (NF)、微滤膜 (MF) 各占 10%,剩下 20% 被离子交换膜及其他类型所占据,如表 2 所示[11]。

2 膜分离技术的发展历程
膜在自然界中,特别是生物体内是广泛存在的,但人类对 它的认识、研究以及利用却经过了漫长而曲折的道路。1748 年 耐克特发现水能自动扩散到猪膀胱内,从而揭示了膜分离现象。 1861 年,施密特首先提出了超过滤的概念。而真正意义上的 工业开始应用膜分离技术,是在 1950 年 Juda 和 McRase 合作 试制出具有选择透过性能的离子交换膜后。1960 年,Loeb 和 Sourirajan[7] 首次研制具有高脱盐率、高透水量的非对称醋酸纤 维素反渗透膜,这一重要发现使膜分离技术迅速由实验室进入 了大规模工业化应用。我国膜科学技术的发展是从 1958 年研 究离子交换膜开始的[8]。20 世纪 50 年代后期,最早加工成的异 相离子交换膜是通过把离子交换树脂制成粉之后再进行加工而 成。1958 年,中国科学院化学研究所首次成功制备出聚乙烯醇 异相阳离子交换膜和阴离子交换膜,我国膜分离技术进入快 速发展时期。我国膜分离技术在 50 年期间完成了从实验室到 大规模工业应用的转变,成为一项高效节能的新型分离技术。 进入 21 世纪,我国膜分离技术已在多个领域得到广泛应用,跨 入独立自主进行多种膜材料及膜组件研发、设计和生产的国家 之列,市场保持 20% 以上的增速,成为全球瞩目的新兴市场。

SBR污水处理工艺

SBR污水处理工艺摘要:近几年来,随着我国经济的迅速发展,对环境所造成的污染也不断加剧。

因此,污水处理厂日益加重。

现今,污水处理有AB法、SBR法、A2O法、UASB法等工艺。

一、SBR工艺SBR是一种间歇式的活性泥泥系统,其基本特征是在一个反应池内完成污水的生化反应、固液分离、排水、排泥。

可通过双池或多池组合运行实现连续进出水。

SBR通过对反应池曝气量和溶解氧的控制而实现不同的处理目标,具有很大的灵活性。

SBR池通常每个周期运行4-6小时,当出现雨水高峰流量时,SBR 系统就从正常循环自动切换至雨水运行模式,通过调整其循环周期,以适应来水量的变化。

SBR系统通常能够承受3-5倍旱流量的冲击负荷。

二、SBR工艺具有以下特点:(1)SBR工艺流程简单、管理方便、造价低。

SBR工艺只有一个反应器,不需要二沉池,不需要污泥回流设备,一般情况下也不需要调节池,因此要比传统活性污泥工艺节省基建投资30%以上,而且布置紧凑,节省用地。

由于科技进步,目前自动控制已相当成熟、配套。

这就使得运行管理变得十分方便、灵活,很适合小城市采用。

(2)处理效果好。

SBR工艺反应过程是不连续的,是典型的非稳态过程,但在曝气阶段其底物和微生物浓度变化是连续的(尽管是处于完全混合状态中),随时间的延续而逐渐降低。

反应器内活性污泥处于一种交替的吸附、吸收及生物降解和活化的变化过程之中,因此处理效果好。

(3)有很好的除磷脱氮效果。

SBR工艺可以很容易地交替实现好氧、缺氧、厌氧的环境,并可以通过改变曝气量、反应时间等方面来创造条件提高除磷脱氮效率。

(4)污泥沉降性能好。

SBR工艺具有的特殊运行环境抑制了污泥中丝状菌的生长,减少了污泥膨胀的可能。

同时由于SBR工艺的沉淀阶段是在静止的状态下进行的,因此沉淀效果更好。

(5)SBR工艺独特的运行工况决定了它能很好的适应进水水量、水质波动。

三、污水处理1.格栅格栅由一组平行的金属栅条或筛网制成,安装在污水管道、泵房集水井的进口处或污水处理厂的端部,用以截留较大的悬浮物或漂浮物,以便减轻后续处理构筑物的处理负荷,并使之正常运行。

化工进展Chemical Industry and Engineering Progress2022年第41卷第5期取消药剂消耗的电脱盐污水物理法预处理洪波(中石化镇海炼化分公司,浙江宁波315207)摘要:炼油废水中油分与悬浮物的高效、低耗分离关乎石化行业的绿色发展和减污降碳目标。

针对电脱盐污水中油分与悬浮物复合以及水质波动问题,本文通过组合亲水性和亲油性颗粒介质构建组合颗粒微通道分离床层,并耦合旋流再生开发沸腾床分离技术,相继通过小试和中试试验验证组合颗粒微通道分离对电脱盐污水的脱固除油预处理效果,并针对中国石化某炼油厂的电脱盐污水提出物理法预处理工程方案,对比分析物理法预处理工艺相较传统“老三套”的经济性差别。

沸腾床分离器中高速摄像可视化测试表明,组合颗粒能够实现油滴有效捕集,且亲水颗粒的引入对分离效果未产生负面影响;针对油分和悬浮物浓度剧烈波动的实际电脱盐污水,现场1m 3/h 沸腾床分离器出水含油率和固含量可稳定控制在20mg/L 和50mg/L 以内,而10m 3/h 沸腾床分离中试试验证实物理法预处理工艺可长周期持续实现出水维持稳定。

相较于“均质+隔油+气浮”传统预处理工艺,物理法预处理工艺取消了聚合氯化铝(PAC )和聚丙烯酰胺(PAM )等药剂消耗,并同时避免了气浮浮渣等危险废物的产生,同时体现了经济和环保优势。

煤化工废水中硫酸钠-氯化钠-硝酸钠分离工艺研究裴旭东,陈卫红,李朝恒(中石化炼化工程(集团)股份有限公司洛阳技术研发中心,河南洛阳471003)[摘要]根据硫酸钠、氯化钠和硝酸钠溶解度曲线及Na +//Cl -、SO 42--H 2O 三元水盐体系相图,制定了分盐结晶工艺方案,考察了一次蒸发率、冷冻温度、二次蒸发率等参数对分离效果的影响。

实验结果表明:控制一次蒸发率为68%,冷冻温度为-5℃,二次蒸发率为70%,采用本方案得到了纯度为96.7%的硫酸钠、94.3%的氯化钠和98.4%的硝酸钠,产品都达到工业标准,解决了杂盐危废问题,消除了二次污染,真正实现了盐的资源化利用。

Despite different successfully applied unit operations for separation, there is still possibility to improve distillation technique by enabling for the separation of more and more specific/non-ideal mixtures. The extractive heterogeneous-azeotropic distillation (EHAD) is a new improvement in this area showing special features to cope with the separation of extremely non-ideal mixtures. This unit operation combines the merits of the extractive- and the heterogeneous-azeotropic distillations in one unit without the addition of any extra materials. The study of the separations of ternary and quaternary mixtures from fine chemical industry shows both in the modelled and the experimental results that the EHAD can be successfully applied. The measured and modelled compositions at extreme purities, that is, close to 0 % or 100 %, can be different because of the inaccuracies of the modelling. This highlights the paramount importance of the experiments if special extra fine chemicals with almost no impurities e.g. pharmacopoeial quality are to be produced by special distillation technique.Keywords: process wastewater, non-ideal mixtures, extractive heterogeneous-azeotropic distillation1. IntroductionThe words of Dr. James R. Fair are still true: “Distillation, king in separation, will remain as the workhorse separation device of the process industries. Even though it is old in the art, with a relatively mature technology support base, it attracts research and professional interest. Without question, distillation will sail into future with clear skies and a strong wind. It will remain the key separation method against which alternate methods must be judged” from Ref. [1]. The above quote clearly explains why distillation should be investigated continuously [2–4].In our work, the separation of process wastewater is studied. Such mixtures are quite common in fine chemical industries, where the separation of usually azeotropic mixtures and then fine chemical quality should be achieved; while simultaneous, it is challenging to balance the energetic and environmental consequences. Such highly non-ideal mixtures usually contain different kinds of alcohols, esters, aldehydes, and ethers in aqueous media. These compounds already predict that problems may arise at their distillation-based separation. The separation of an ethanol, ethyl acetate, isopropyl acetate, and water quaternary mixture from the fine chemical industry [5] drew the attention to the necessity for the development of the distillation-*Correspondence: andras86@kkft.bme.hu based separation techniques that comprises the merits of using different separation solutions.A new hybrid separation alternative, the so-called extractive heterogeneous-azeotropic distillation (EHAD) has been introduced [6–8,9] that combines the advantages of the extractive and the heterogeneous-azeotropic distillations (Fig.1). The heterogeneous-azeotropic option assumes that water is present in the mixture and limited immiscibility may exist. Hetero-azeotropic distillation exploits differences in volatility and liquid-liquid phase split by linking a distillation column and a decanter. Therefore, it may also be interpreted as a hybrid separation process [10–12].Figure 1. The extractive heterogeneous-azeotropic distillation [9].T ÓTH , S ZANYI , H AAZ , AND M IZSEYHungarian Journal of Industry and Chemistry34 The EHAD differs from the hetero-extractive distillation [13] since no new azeotrope is formed, namely the extractive agent/entrainer is water and this component is already present in the mixtures to be separated. Moreover, the extractive and relative volatility changing effect of the autoentrainer/extractive agent is fully utilised and there is no rectifying section in the column [9]. The efficiency of the EHAD can be demonstrated with a motivating case study. This was first carried out for a separation system of nine units, distillation columns and extractors [14].If fine purity is required e.g. biofuel or pharmacopoeial application further unit operations might be needed, e.g. rectification again. However, it can be observed that in the range of extreme purities (close to 0 % or 100 %) the modelling is not reliable enough and the experiments cannot be omitted. The applicability and effectiveness of extractive heterogeneous distillation has been already tested on many different highly non-ideal mixtures with simulations and experiments verifying the accuracy of modelling [8–9]. The strategy clearly shows that the EHAD is a powerful tool for the separation of highly non-ideal mixtures containing water.2. ExperimentalIn spite of the clear guideline for the applicability of the EHAD [8] further application areas are going to be searched. On the other hand, the separation of the actual non-ideal mixture should be interpreted explaining the unit operation and detecting new possible application areas.2.1. SimulationsFor the sake of our aims, a ternary mixture is selected: methanol (MeOH), ethyl-acetate (EtAc), and water (H 2O). Computer simulations were carried out with ChemCAD 6.4.2 in advance to experiments in order to reduce the required number of experiments and to find promising separation alternatives. Moreover, the optimal reflux ratio, the mass- and bottom flow rates, heating and cooling requirements were also determined knowing the heat flow in the distillation column as shown in Fig.1. The UNIQUAC method is applied [15–18] as an equilibrium model for the calculation of the highly non-ideal vapour-liquid equilibria. If binary pairs exist without UNIQUAC data are available, the UNIFAC method was applied [19]. Since the EHAD works with limited immiscibility besides the vapour-liquid equilibria [20], liquid-liquid equilibria were also considered in the form of vapour-liquid-liquid equilibria (VLLE) model. Both the employed equilibrium models (UNIQUAC, UNIFAC) have VLL equilibria option.The operation of the EHAD and the complexities of the ternary mixture are shown in Fig.2 calculated with ChemCAD. There are two binary azeotropes, one homogeneous and one heterogeneous [20–23].2.2. ExperimentsTo save time and material first extensive simulation works should be completed. The results of the simulation prepare and predict the experiments. The experiments are completed on a laboratory apparatus shown in Fig.3.The main parameters of the experimental column are the following: structured packing, internal diameters of 20 mm. The column has 10 theoretical plates according to measurement carried out by methanol-water mixture. The feed is not preheated and it is pumped in the middle of the column and the flow value is kept at 0.06 kg h -1. The entrainer (water) is pumped in the top of the column and the flow value is kept at 0.31 kg h -1. The column heating is controlled with a 300 W heating basket. The flow leaving the condenser goes to a phase split. The upper, organic reach phase is taken away. The lower, water rich phase goes back into the EHAD column as reflux. The content of the feed (F), distillate (D), bottom product (W) are measured with Shimadzu GC-14B gas chromatograph with a CP-SIL-5CB column connected to a flame ionisation detector.Figure 2. Results and AnalysisWe summarise the measured and calculated results in InTable 1. The comparison also shows the accuracy of the EHAD in the ternary case selected for the given study.The Fig.4 shows the feed concentration of ternary mixture (x F,solvent ) and entrainer addition (x F,water ). The calculated distillate (x D ) and bottom product (x W ) concentration is also presented in Fig.3. Under the dashed curve is found the two-phase region. The operating lines show the operation of the EHAD column.3.1. SimulationsIf fitting, computer simulations, modelling were carried out, please provide all relevant results, but avoid excessive publication of raw or meta-data. Distribution of electronic supporting information is available.3.2. Modelling of High Purity SeparationThe concentrations 0% and 100% are two extreme numbers, since these do not exist in practical separation technology. We can approach these numbers with more and more advanced and expensive technologies, but we can never arrive at them. Moreover, the problem of extreme concentrations poses two questions: (i) do we have sophisticated analytical techniques to do measurements in such regions, and (ii) can we calculate/model these regions accurately/reliably?The positive answers are crucial in the case of high purity distillation. The modelling is important since they are used for the reduction of the solution space and to find the promising alternatives. The modelling can be therefore applied to the preparation and selection of the experiment/experiments. This philosophy is also applied for high purity rectification problems. In our ternary example we arrive at such extreme concentration range where our analytics is not capable to follow the separation. But the modelling shows some promise here.Another case study [6–8], from the fine chemical industry highlights that the modelling is not reliable in those regions that are close the extreme numbers of 0% and/or 100%. A demonstrative example for such a crucial situation is the production of ethanol in pharmacopoeial purity. The ethanol produced in this purity may contain contaminating compounds only in a few ppm concentrations. There are alternative processes for the production of such extremely pure ethanol with rectification. However, the modelling alone can be misleading and it might show such solution alternativesthat prove to be unacceptable if they are experimentally tested. On the other hand, the modelling results are definitely uncertain in such extreme purity ranges. The modelled results likely cannot be supported by experiments. These examples show that if rectification-based process alternatives are investigated the experiments give the reliable results, since the modelling is unreliable at the purities close to the extreme concentration ranges.4. ConclusionThe extractive heterogeneous-azeotropic distillation improves significantly the possibilities of the separation of highly non-ideal mixtures. EHAD opens new solutions and areas for the design of distillation based systems since difficult multicomponent separations can be easily and cost effectively solved.The comparison of modelling and experiments show good agreement; however, there might be contradiction among measured and modelled data if high purity products are required.
