高中英语作文有关媒体暴力的英语作文政府应该控制媒体暴力,以减少暴力犯罪。
你的观点是什么?有关媒体暴力的The issue of media violence just doesn’t go away. Debate over its impact on the occurrence of violent CRImes has been fuelled by the sniper shooting spree in American and high school shootings there and elsewhere. Personally, I don’t deem it necessary for the government to regulate the media violence, or possible to decrease the violent CRImes by doing so.Media violence is the least to be blamed when it comes to the violent CRImes. On the contrary, it even plays an educational role. Take critically acclaimed Saving Private Ryan for example, no one will deny the frequent and graphic violence in the movie reminds us that the portrayal violent behavior can serve artistic and moral purposes. What’s more, it makes lives easier for us. Fear and rage are what we inevitiably feel deep inside and what can depress us whenoppressed. Media violence makes it possible for us to give vent to such feelings vicarously through the stories of others. What, you may ask, sparks violent crimes? Where we should focus our attention on to reduce the violent crimes?Though media violence is available to all, some absorb the messages with inmmunity whereas others are more vulnerable to them. How they make sense of it depends on their respective personal social experiences.Young, poor, discriminated, rebellious, and not infrequently, minorities, are the traditional images of criminals of violent crimes. Those who have simillar personal ecperiences are prone to take it for granted as what their life should be.What sparks the violent crimes is not what people see a film or TV programes, but what really happens to them. The gorernment is supposed to focus its attention more on the well-being of the average, rather than on media vialence.。

参考范文:Nowadays, many people argue that the government should control the amount of violence in films and on television, in order to reduce social crimes. In my view, this assertion is partially wise, and my reasons would be explored as below.Admittedly, there are many good reasons for controlling the amount of violence in films and on television.First, violent films and television are mental poisons for the audience It is because they contains numerous of erotic, corrupt and provoking episode, with long exposure to which, viewers might become aggressive and eccentric. In addition, violence contents set negative role models for young viewers, especially the youth.Activities like fighting, shooting or killing done by movie stars send teenagers a wrong message that violence is an effective or even essential solutionto all troubles. Therefore, these youngsters with immature minds begin to admire violence and disrespect social rules, which leads to the increasing of the juvenile delinquents.According to the analysis above,it is clear that the measure of limiting violent information on media should be encouraged, for the reason that it can directly cut off the access to those illegal and evil behaviors and thoughts, thus keeping people from imitating them.Advocates claim that the practice of controlling the amount of violence in mass media is a brazen violation of the people's basic right to know the truth of the world. For example, some films contain some violence, but they reflect the things happened around us.Rather than producing negative effects on audience, to some extent, these films educate them.Furthermore, violence in films or on television programs cultivates people's senses of crisis and responsibility, which makes ordinary people and police work better for public security.Consequently, it is irresponsible and foolish to blame the media for violence in our society. As far as I am concern, I strongly believe that the amount of violence in films and TV should be controlled. At the same time, we cannot deny the advantages brought by them. And the best policy is to develop the merits of the violent films and television, while grading and filtering them.第二篇:雅思大作文新闻媒体类话题--新闻媒体的好坏雅思大作文新闻媒体类话题范文--新闻媒体的好坏News media have become influential to our lives, and some people think that is a negative development.T o what extent do you agree or disagree? 新闻媒体对我们的生活产生影响,有人认为这是一种消极的发展。
媒体暴力演讲稿英文版范文
Today, I stand before you to address a pressing issue that has been increasingly gaining attention in our society – media violence. Therise of media violence has been a topic of concern for many years, andit has become more evident than ever before. In this speech, I will discuss the definition of media violence, its impact on society, and the necessary steps to combat this problem.Firstly, let us define what we mean by media violence. Media violence refers to the depiction of aggressive or violent behavior in various forms of media, including television, movies, video games, and the internet. These depictions often involve acts of violence, such as murder, assault, and sexual violence, which are portrayed in a graphic and disturbing manner. The impact of media violence on society is profound and multifaceted. One of the most significant effects is the potential for aggression and desensitization. Studies have shown that individuals who are exposed to high levels of media violence are more likely to exhibit aggressive behavior, such as bullying and violence in interpersonal relationships. Moreover, prolonged exposure to media violence can lead to desensitization, where individuals become numb to the pain and suffering of others, thereby increasing the likelihood of engaging in violent behavior.Another consequence of media violence is the normalization of aggression. When violence is depicted as a common and acceptable part of everyday life, it can normalize aggressive behavior and make it seem less abnormal. This can have a detrimental effect on society, as it may encourage individuals to view violence as a legitimate means ofresolving conflicts, thereby perpetuating a cycle of aggression and violence.Furthermore, media violence can have negative effects on mental health. Individuals who are exposed to media violence may experience increased levels of anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The graphic and disturbing depictions of violence can leave a lasting impact on the mind, leading to long-term psychological consequences. To combat the issue of media violence, several steps need to be taken by various stakeholders.Firstly, it is crucial for parents and guardians to be vigilant about the content their children are exposed to. By monitoring theirchildren's media consumption and engaging in discussions about the content, parents can help shield them from the negative effects of media violence. Additionally, parents should encourage their children to engage in activities that promote empathy, compassion, and non-violent conflict resolution.Secondly, the media industry itself must take responsibility for the content they produce. This includes television networks, movie studios, video game developers, and internet platforms. These entities should adopt stricter guidelines for the depiction of violence and ensure that their content is age-appropriate. Moreover, they should promote positive role models and portray characters engaging in non-violent behavior as heroes.Thirdly, policymakers and government officials must enact legislation that regulates the production and distribution of violent media. This may involve imposing ratings systems, restricting the advertising of violent content, and providing funding for research on the effects of media violence. Additionally, governments should invest in programs aimed at promoting media literacy and critical thinking skills among the public.Lastly, educators and mental health professionals play a crucial role in addressing the issue of media violence. Schools should incorporate media literacy programs into their curricula, teaching students how to critically analyze and evaluate media content. Mental health professionals should be equipped with the necessary skills to identify and treat individuals who have been negatively affected by media violence. In conclusion, media violence is a significant issue that requires the attention and cooperation of various stakeholders. By taking proactive measures, we can minimize the negative effects of media violence onsociety and promote a healthier, more peaceful world. Thank you for your attention.。
网络暴力现象原因英语作文
网络暴力现象原因英语作文The Reasons for Cyberbullying。
Cyberbullying, a type of violence that occurs online, has become a serious issue in today's society. There are several reasons why cyberbullying has become so prevalent, and it is important to understand these reasons in order to address and prevent this harmful behavior. One of the main reasons for cyberbullying is the anonymity that the internet provides. When people are able to hide behind a screen and remain anonymous, they may feel more emboldened to say hurtful things to others. This anonymity can lead to a lack of accountability for one's actions, as there are often no consequences for cyberbullies. As a result, individuals may feel empowered to engage in harmful behavior without fear of retribution.Another reason for cyberbullying is the ease of access to technology and social media platforms. With thewidespread use of smartphones and social networking sites, individuals can easily reach a large audience with their hurtful messages. This accessibility can make it difficult for victims to escape the harassment, as the harmful content can quickly spread and reach a wide audience.Furthermore, the lack of face-to-face interaction in online communication can also contribute to cyberbullying. When individuals communicate online, they may not be able to see the emotional impact of their words on others. This can lead to a lack of empathy and understanding, as individuals may not realize the harm they are causing to their victims. Without the ability to see the emotional reactions of others, individuals may be more likely to engage in hurtful behavior without considering the consequences.Additionally, the prevalence of cyberbullying may be influenced by societal attitudes towards violence and aggression. In a society that often glorifies aggression and conflict, individuals may feel pressure to assert their dominance and power over others. This can manifest in theform of cyberbullying, as individuals may use online platforms to intimidate and harass others in order to feel a sense of control and superiority. In conclusion, there are several reasons why cyberbullying has become a pervasive issue in today's society. The anonymity provided by the internet, the ease of access to technology, the lack of face-to-face interaction, and societal attitudes towards violence and aggression all contribute to the prevalence of cyberbullying. It is important for individuals to be aware of these factors and work towards creating a more respectful and empathetic online environment. By understanding the reasons for cyberbullying, we can take steps to address and prevent this harmful behavior in our society.。

网络暴力 英文作文
网络暴力英文作文英文:As a teenager who spends a lot of time on social media, I have witnessed and experienced the negative impact of online violence, also known as cyberbullying. It's a serious issue that can have devastating effects on the mental and emotional well-being of individuals, especially young people.I remember a friend of mine who was constantly targeted by a group of online bullies. They would leave hurtful comments on her posts, spread rumors about her, and even create fake accounts to harass her. It was heartbreaking to see how much it affected her self-esteem and confidence. She became withdrawn and anxious, and it took a long time for her to recover from the trauma. In another instance, I saw a classmate of mine being cyberbullied for her appearance. People would make fun ofher in the comments section of her photos, calling her names and making cruel jokes. It was appalling to see how some individuals could be so cruel and insensitive behind the anonymity of a screen.I believe that online violence is a reflection of the lack of empathy and understanding in our society. People hide behind their screens and say things they would never dare to say in person. It's easy to forget that there is a real person with real feelings on the other side of the screen. The anonymity of the internet gives people a false sense of power and invincibility, leading them to engage in behavior that they would never engage in face-to-face.I think it's important for us to raise awareness about the impact of online violence and to educate people about the consequences of their actions. We need to create a culture of kindness and empathy online, just as we do in the real world. It's crucial for individuals to understand that their words and actions can have a profound impact on others, and that they should use the internet as a tool for positivity and connection, rather than as a platform forhate and cruelty.中文:作为一个经常在社交媒体上花费大量时间的青少年,我目睹并经历了网络暴力,也被称为网络欺凌的负面影响。

However, alongside its many benefits, it has also become a breeding ground for a new form of aggression known as cyberbullying. This insidious phenomenon has emerged as a silent menace, striking at the heart of our online interactions, leaving a trail of emotional scars that are often overlooked. The anonymity provided by the internet emboldens individuals to unleash torrents of cruel words and threats, devoid of the empathy that typically governs face-to-face interactions. Victims of cyberbullying are subjected to a barrage of abuse that can range from personal attacks to public shaming, all facilitated by the relative safety of a screen. The impact of such behavior is profound, leading to a degradation of mental health, a loss of self-esteem, and in extreme cases, even tragic outcomes. The pervasiveness of social media exacerbates the issue, as it provides a fertile ground for cyberbullying to spread.
