3.Good afternoon! 这是一种近似于正式的问候语。

常用于午饭至晚饭前,译为“下午好”。

4.Good evening! 这是一种较为正式的问候语,一般用于晚饭之后,被译为“晚上好”。

5.Hello! 这是一种极为常见的问候语,使用范围相当广泛。

6.Hi! 这是一种很随便的招呼语。

7.Good day! 在英美国家这是一种古老的问候语,目前很少有人在使用这句话。

Walk on eggs我们常以“如履薄冰”形容一个人做事十分小心谨慎,像在薄冰上步行。

英语中类似的说法是walk on eggs,或者tread on eggs,就是非常小心地步行的模样,美语中则有这样的一个词组“walk Spanish”,原意是指小孩子在游戏的时候被人提着衣领踮着脚尖步行。

这个词引申后的意思变为“小心地走路”解,但现在又常作被解雇,被罢免以及被驱逐解。

追其根源,这主要来⾃基督教。

耶稣受难被钉在⼗字架上的前夜,和12 (twelve) 个门徒共进晚餐,师徒13⼈中出了⼀个叛徒犹⼤。

由此,信奉基督教的民族都认为13是个不吉利的数字。
