求职面试如何成功英语作文120词左右全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1How to Get the Job You WantHi there! My name is Jamie and I'm 10 years old. I know I'm just a kid, but I've learned a lot about job interviews from watching my parents and from what my teacher told our class. Getting a job is super important for grown-ups, so you have to do really well in the interview. Let me share some tips!First up, you have to make a great first impression. That means dressing nice and looking professional. My dad always wears a suit and tie to interviews, even though his job doesn't require it. He says it shows he's serious about wanting the job. My mom gets her hair done and wears make-up and her best work outfit. They both spend time picking out their clothes the night before too. You don't want to be rushing around last minute and show up looking messy.Next, shake hands properly and make eye contact. A weak handshake is no good - you have to grip firmly (but not too tight!) and look the interviewer in the eyes. It shows confidence. My teacher had us practice shaking hands and introducing ourselves. We felt a bit silly at first, but she said it's an important skill for the future. Then in the actual interview, listen carefully to each question and be sure to answer it fully. Don't just give a one word answer - explain your thoughts properly. The interviewers want to see that you can communicate well. My parents always write down a few practice questions and rehearse their answers out loud beforehand. It's also good to do your research on the company beforehand so you can ask your own questions at the end. That shows you're really interested in working there. Maybe ask about the company culture, or growth opportunities, or their biggest challenges. Smart questions make you look impressive.Another biggie is to be super positive and enthusiastic! Talk about why you love the work, or give examples of when you went above and beyond. That kind of energy and passion will make the interviewers want to hire you for sure.Oh, and don't forget to send a thank-you email or note afterwards! That tiny extra touch can help seal the deal. Those are the main tips I've picked up so far. I know it might sound like a lot, but doing all those little things right in an interview is what gets people hired for their dream jobs. Just be prepared, be professional, and let your awesome personality shine through! I can't wait until it's my turn to start interviewing when I'm older.Well, thanks for reading my advice! I may only be a fourth grader but I'm pretty wise when it comes to the working world already. Just you wait and see - maybe you'll be interviewing ME for a job at your company someday! Though hopefully I'll be a bit taller by then. Anyway, good luck out there!篇2How to Be a Winner at Job InterviewsHi there! My name is Tommy and I'm going to teach you all about job interviews. Job interviews are when grown-ups talk to other grown-ups to see if they can get a new job. It's super important to do a good job at the interview so you can get hired! The first thing you need to know is what a job interview is like. It's kind of like when your teacher calls on you to answer a question in class, except way more serious. There will be one or two grown-ups asking you lots of questions to see if you are agood fit for the job. They might ask you things like "Why do you want this job?" or "What are your strengths and weaknesses?"Getting ready for the big day is really important. You need to practice answering questions so you sound smart and confident. My dad always says "Practice makes perfect!" You can practice in front of a mirror or have your parents ask you sample questions. Don't just make up answers though, you need to give real examples from your life.Another key thing is dressing for success! You can't just wear your favorite superhero pajamas. You have to pick out your nicest outfit – probably a suit and tie if you're a boy or a dress if you're a girl. You want to look very professional and mature. Comb your hair nice and don't have any stains on your clothes. Grown-ups call this "putting your best foot forward."Now for the really hard part – the actual job interview! You need to make a great first impression by giving the interviewer a firm handshake and looking them in the eye. Sit up nice and tall and speak clearly. Don't say "um" and "like" a lot. If you don't understand a question, it's okay to ask them to explain it again. The interviewers will be looking to see if you are really interested in the job. That means you need to know a lot about the company already. Do research ahead of time so you can talkabout how great the company is and why you'd be perfect for the job.Grown-ups also like when you ask them good questions at the end. You could ask things like "What are the biggest challenges for someone in this job?" or "What do you like best about working here?" Asking questions shows you are curious and want to learn as much as you can. After you answer all their questions, make sure to thank them for their time. You can shake their hand again on your way out. Then all you have to do is wait patiently to hear back if you got the job or not. Keep your fingers crossed!Even if you don't get hired this time, don't get discouraged. Interviewing takes a lot of practice for grown-ups too. You'll get another chance. Just think about what you can improve on next time. Maybe you need to speak up more, or work on your posture, or research the company better. As long as you try your best, that's what matters.Well, those are my top tips for rocking a job interview! It takes preparation and confidence, but I know you can do it. Just imagine how proud your parents will be when you land that job. You'll be joining the workforce in no time! Let me know if you have any other questions.篇3How to Rock Your Job Interview!Hey kids! If you don't understand a question, just ask the interviewer to repeat or rephrase it. There's no shame in that! And when you're answering, take your time. It's okay to pause for a few seconds to gather your thoughts before responding. One of the trickiest parts can be behavioral questions, where they ask about a time you faced a challenge or worked as part of a team. The key here is using concrete examples from your life, like that time you organized a big fundraiser for your school or coached your little sister's soccer team. Real-life stories make your answers way more memorable and impressive. At the end, have a few good questions ready to ask the interviewer. This shows you're curious and truly interested in the role. Job interviews can be really scary, but if you follow my tips, you'll be a pro in no time!First up, you gotta prepare like crazy. That means doing tons of research on the company you're interviewing with. Learn everything you can about what they do, who their customers are, and what their values are. That way, when they ask you "Why do you want to work here?", you can give an awesome answer that shows you're not just looking for any old job, but that you really want to work for their awesome company.Next, practice your answers to common interview questions out loud. Things like "Tell me about yourself", "What are your strengths and weaknesses?", and "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?". Don't just think about your answers, say them out loudover and over again. That way, when you're in the actual interview, the words will flow smoothly instead of you umm-ing and ahh-ing all over the place.Another key thing is to prepare some super cool questions to ask the interviewer at the end. Interviewers always say "Do you have any questions for me?" and you gotta be ready with at least 2 or 3 really good ones. Ask about the company culture, or what skills they think are most important for the role, or what a typical day looks like. Asking good questions shows you're seriously interested and engaged. Now let's talk about how to make a stellar first impression when you walk in the room. Dress for success, people! That means a nice suit or dress, polished shoes, tidy hair - the whole nine yards. You wanna look professional and put-together. And don't forget to smile! A warm, friendly smile will make the interviewer feel at ease right away.During the interview itself, sit up nice and straight with your shoulders back. Make eye contact and don't fidget or tap your feet - those are nervous habits that can be distracting. Speak slowly and clearly too. It's okay to take a pause before answering if you need to gather your thoughts. When the interviewer asks you a question, repeat part of it back to them before answering. So if they say "Tell me about a time you faced a challenge at work", you could respond with "A challenge I once faced at work was..." That little trick shows you're a great listener. Most importantly, stay positive! Don't trash talk your former boss or co-workers, even if you had a terrible experience. Interviewers want to hire people with a can-do attitude who will bring positive energy to their team.At the end of the interview, make sure to thank the interviewer for their time. You can also reiterate why you're so pumped about the role and working for their company. A firm handshake seals the deal!Phew, that's a lot of tips! You've got this!篇5How to Get That Job You Really WantHey kids! Today I want to talk to you about job interviews. You might be thinking "But I'm just a kid, why do I need to know about job interviews?" Well, it's never too early to start learning this stuff. Plus, you'll probably have to interview for jobs like babysitting, dog walking, or that cool job at the ice cream shop before you know it!A job interview is kind of like a test, but not the type where you have to answer questions about math or spelling. It's a test to see if you are the right fit for a particular job. The person interviewing you wants to know if you have the right skills and personality for the position. So how do you pass this "test" and get the job you really want? Here are my top tips:Dress for SuccessYou've heard that expression before, right? When you go for a job interview, you need to dress nice and look professional. That doesn't mean you have to wear a suit and tie (unless you're interviewing to be a banker or lawyer when you're older!). But you should wear clean, neat clothes that aren't ripped or stained. Pants or a skirt rather than shorts or sweats. A collared shirt instead of a t-shirt. Brush your hair and teeth. You get the idea!Looking put together shows you are taking this interview seriously.Make Eye Contact and SmileWhen you get to the interview, you'll probably be a little nervous. That's okay and normal! Just try your best to make eye contact with the person interviewing you when you greet them and answer their questions. Smiling and having a friendly facial expression is important too. You want to seem confident, honest and likeable. Avoiding eye contact or frowning makes it seem like you aren't interested or are hiding something.Listen CarefullyThe person interviewing you is going to ask you questions to learn about you and your skills. Make sure you listen very carefully to each question before giving your answer. Don't interrupt them while they are asking the question either. If you didn't quite understand the question, just politely ask them to repeat it. Paying close attention shows you are taking things seriously.Be Prepared With Your Own QuestionsAt the end of most job interviews, you'll be asked if you have any other questions. This is your chance to ask smart thingsabout the job and company. Maybe you want to know what a typical day would be like or what skills are most important for someone in that role. Asking a few good questions shows you are very interested in the position.Say Thank YouFinally, before leaving, make sure to thank the interviewer for their time. You can do this in person as you are leaving, and it's also a good idea to send a short thank you email or note later that day. Thanking them leaves a great final impression. So there you have it - the keys to nailing that job interview! Just pretend you're chatting with a teacher or family friend. The interviewers will definitely be impressed if you make eye contact, speak confidently about your experiences, and ask thoughtful follow-up questions. Do all that and you'll be a shoo-in for the job!So don't stress too much. If you prepare properly, practice answering questions, and just be your amazing self, you're gonna knock that interview out of the park. Good luck!篇3How to Succeed in an InterviewHi friends! Today I want to talk to you about interviews. You might be thinking - interviews, why do I need to know about those? I'm just a kid! Well, even kids sometimes have to go through interviews. Maybe it's for getting into a cool club or a special program at school. Or maybe your parents are making you interview for a job like babysitting or mowing lawns. Whatever the reason, it's good to know how to do well in an interview. The first step is being prepared. That means knowing what the interview is for and who you are meeting with. Ask lots of questions ahead of time so you understand what it's all about. Then you can get ready with the right things. For example, if you're interviewing to be a camp counselor, you'll want to brush up on your camping knowledge. What kinds of activities do kids like at camp? What are some camp safetyrules? Thinking about those kinds of things will help you feel confident going in.You'll also want to practice answering possible interview questions out loud. Have your parents or a friend ask you sample questions so you can practice giving good responses. The more you practice, the less nervous you'll be.The next key to interview success is making a great first impression. That starts with your outfit. You don't need an expensive suit or anything, but do wear neat, clean clothes that fit well. Avoid things with logos or silly slogans. You want to look pulled together.Good hygiene is also part of a great first impression. Make sure you bathe, brush your teeth, and use deodorant (if needed) before your interview. Tidy hair is good too. You don't want to be remembered as the stinky, messy kid! When you meet your interviewer(s), shake their hand firmly and make eye contact. Sit up straight in your chair. Good posture shows confidence and respect. Smile and be ready with a friendly greeting like "It's nice to meet you!"During the actual interview, listen carefully to each question and don't interrupt. If you don't quite understand something, it'sokay to politely ask for clarification before answering. Then give clear, honest responses without rambling too much. It's smart to prepare a few questions to ask the interviewer too. Good ones show you're interested and thinking ahead. You could ask things like "What skills are most important for this position?" or "What do you enjoy most about working here?"Stay calm and positive throughout the interview, even if you're feeling nervous inside. The people interviewing you are just trying to get to know you better. It's not an interrogation! With practice, interviews become easier. At the end, maintain that great first impression by thanking the interviewer for their time. A short handwritten thank you note after is a classy touch too.So those are my tips for succeeding at interviews. Remember to be prepared, polite, friendly and interested. If you practice those things, I know you've got this! Just picture how proud your parents will be when you nail that interview. Let me know if you need any other advice!篇4How to Succeed in an InterviewHave you ever felt super nervous before an important interview? Maybe it was for getting into a cool club at school or trying out for the soccer team. Interviews can be scary, but they don't have to be! If you follow some simple tips, you can go into your next interview feeling confident and prepared. The first step is to learn as much as you can about what the interview is for. Is it to get a role in the school play? Or maybe to become a hall monitor? No matter what, you need to do your research! Read up on the responsibilities and skills required for that position.Next, practice how you will answer common interview questions out loud. Things like "Why are you interested in this role?" or "What makes you a good fit?" have good answers that show you've prepared. But don't just memorize answersword-for-word. That can make you sound robotic. Instead, make bullet point notes and practice explaining your thoughts smoothly. Now let's talk about your appearance for the interview. You don't need to wear a super fancy suit or anything, but you do want to look neat and put-together. Stick to simple clothing that fits well and is wrinkle-free. And be sure to take a shower, brushyour teeth, and brush your hair. Looking clean and respectable shows you take the interview seriously.Waiting for your interview can be the worst part! But there are things you can do to stay calm. Do some deep breathing exercises if you're feeling anxious. Or mentally repeat a positive mantra like "I've got this!" It's also wise to get to the interview location a little early so you have time to relax before going in.When it's time for the actual interview, there are some things to keep in mind for your best behavior. First, shake hands firmly with the interviewers and make eye contact. Then during the interview, sit up straight and avoid fidgeting too much. Be sure to listen carefully to each question before responding. If you don't understand something, it's okay to politely ask for clarification. As the interview goes on, don't be afraid to share specific examples that demonstrate your skills and experience, especially from school or extracurricular activities. At the same time, be careful not to brag or talk over the interviewers. If you've prepared well, your excellence will shine through. Finally, have a good final handshake ready and make sure to thank the interviewers for their time before you leave. You canalso ask when you might expect to get notified about the decision. That shows your enthusiasm for the role. The days after an interview can feel like torture while you're waiting to hear back. But don't drive yourself crazy wondering how it went! You'll hear the final result when the time comes. If you don't get the role this time, don't be too discouraged. Use it as a learning experience so you can do even better at your next interview.I know interviews aren't the funnest, but trying your best and staying positive can go a long way. Just think about how awesome you'll feel when you nail it! Then you can celebrate your hard work and success. With dedication and these tips in mind, your future is full of potential. You've got this!篇5How to Succeed in an InterviewInterviews can be scary, especially when you're a kid. You might be interviewing for a spot on the basketball team, a role in the school play, or even a job at the local ice cream shop. But don't worry, I'm here to give you all my tips and tricks for nailing that interview!First things first, you need to prepare. Don't just go in without knowing anything about what you're interviewing for. Do your research! If it's a team or club, learn about their values and recent accomplishments. If it's a job, read up on the company and what they do. Knowing this information shows you're really interested.Next, practice your answers to common interview questions. Things like "Tell me about yourself" or "What are your strengths and weaknesses?" The interviewer will probably ask you these. Have a friend or parent do a mock interview so you can practice out loud. It'll build your confidence! Now let's talk about what to wear. You want to look nice and put together, but you don't need to go overboard with a suit or anything unless they specifically say so. Nice pants or a skirt with a collared shirt is totally fine. And don't forget - look neat! Brush your hair, clean your shoes, all that good stuff. When you get to the interview, it's really important to be polite and have good manners. Shake the interviewer's hand firmly, make eye contact, and say "thank you" when it's over. Little things like that make a big impression.During the interview itself, it's okay to take a moment before answering if you need to collect your thoughts. Don't rush intoresponses. Speak clearly and try to smile - it'll make you seem more confident and friendly. If you get stuck on a question, you can ask for clarification. The interviewer would rather you understand than just guess!Pay close attention to any questions about problem-solving skills or how you'd handle different situations. Interviewers love to ask those to see how you think on your feet. For example, if they ask how you'd resolve a conflict with a teammate, you could say something like "I would first listen to their perspective to understand where they're coming from. Then I'd calmly explain my side and look for a compromise we could both agree on."Another important thing is to have some good questions ready to ask the interviewer at the end. This shows you've thought it through and have a genuine interest. You could ask things like "What do you most enjoy about being on this team?" or "Can you tell me about the work environment here?" Just don't ask questions you could easily find the answers to online. Most of all, be yourself! The interviewer wants to get to know the real you. Don't try to be someone you're not. If you're naturally a bit shy, that's okay. Just do your best to make eye contact, speak up, and let your true personality shine through.I know interviews can be nerve-wracking, but if you follow these tips you'll be a pro in no time! Remember to prepare, dress nicely, mind your manners, and most importantly - BE YOURSELF! You've got this!篇6How to Succeed at InterviewsHey kids! Have you ever had to go for a job interview before? Maybe not a real job since you're still in elementary school. But I'm sure you've been interviewed for things like getting into a club or sport team. Interviews can be scary, but they don't have to be! If you follow my tips, you'll nail that interview and get whatever you're trying for.First things first, you need to prepare! Just like studying for a big test, you've got to get ready for the interview. Do some research on the school, club, or job you're interviewing for. Find out what they're all about and what they're looking for in a new member. That way you can talk about how you'd be a great fit.Next, practice answering common interview questions out loud. You can ask a parent or friend to do a mock interview with you. Questions like "Tell me about yourself," "What are your strengths and weaknesses," and "Why do you want this job/jointhis club" always come up. Have your answers ready to go! Don't just ramble on though, try to keep them short and sweet. Around 30 seconds to a minute is perfect. Now let's talk about what to wear to an interview. You'll want to look nice and put together, but not too fancy. Maybe a polo shirt or nice blouse with khakis or a skirt. Avoid anything ripped, stained or too casual like old t-shirts or athletic shorts. And don't forget to smile! A friendly smile goes a long way.On interview day, get there 10-15 minutes early. Being punctual shows you're responsible and eager. Bring a copy of your resume if you have one, as well as something to write with and paper for notes. When you get called in for the interview, walk with confidence and shake hands firmly with the interviewer(s).During the interview, sit up straight with your shoulders back. Make eye contact and speak clearly. If you get stuck on a question, it's okay to pause and gather your thoughts before answering. The interviewers want you to do well, so staying calm is key! You can also ask about next steps if they don'toffer that information. Then just wait for their decision patiently. Whether you get it or not, be proud that you put yourself out there!Landing an interview is a big accomplishment in itself. How to Do Well on a Job Interview 如何在面试中表现出色

A Professional Essay to ConsiderHow to Do Well on a Job Interviewby Glenda DavisAsk a random selection of people for a listing of their least favorite activities, and right up there with "getting my teeth drilled" is likely to be "going to a job interview." The job interview is often regarded as a confusing, humiliating, and nerve-racking experience. First of all, you have to wait for your appointment in an outer room, often trapped there with other people applying for the same job. You sit nervously, trying not to think about the fact that only one of you may be hired. Then you are called into the interviewer's office. Faced with a complete stranger, you have to try to act both cool and friendly as you are asked all sorts of questions. Some questions are personal: "What is your greatest weakness?" Others are confusing: "Why should we hire you?" The interview probably takes about twenty minutes but seems like two hours. Finally, you go home and wait for days and even weeks. If you get the job, great. But if you don't, you're rarely given any reason why.The job-interview "game" may not be much fun, but it is a game you can win if you play it right. The name of the game is standing out of the crowd—in a positive way. If you go to the interview in a Bozo the Clown suit, you'll stand out of the crowd, all right, but not in a way that is likely to get you hired. Here are guidelines to help you play the interview game to win:Present yourself as a winner.Instantly, the way you dress, speak, and move gives the interviewer more information about you than you would think possible. You doubt that this is true? Consider this: a professional job recruiter, meeting a series of job applicants, was asked to signal the moment he decide not to hire each applicant. The thumbs-down decision was often made in less than forty-five seconds--even before the applicant thought the interview had begun. How can you keep from becoming a victim of an instant "no" decision? Dress appropriately. This means business clothing: usually a suit and tie or a conservative dress or skirt suit. Don't wear casual student clothing. On the other hand, don't overdress: you're going to a job interview, not a party. If you're not sure what's considered appropriate business attire, do some spying before the interview. Walk past your prospective place of employment at lunch or quitting time and check out how the employees are dressed. Your goal is to look as though you would fit in with thatgroup of people.●Pay attention to your grooming. Untidy hair, body color, dandruff, unshined shoes, a hanging hem, stains on your tie, excessive makeup or cologne, a sloppy job of shaving--if the interviewer notices any of these, your prospect of being hired takes a probably fatal hit.●Look alert, poised, and friendly. When that interviewer looks intothe waiting room and calls your name, he or she is getting a first impression of your behavior. If you're slouched in your chair, dozing or lost in the pages of a magazine; if you look up with an annoyed "Huh?"; if you get up slowly and wander over with your hands in your pockets, he or she will not be favorably impressed. What will earn you points is rising promptly and walking brisky toward the interviewer. Smiling and looking directly at that person, extend your hand to shake his or hers, saying, "I'm Lesley Brown. Thank you for seeing me today."●Expect to make a little small talk. This is not a waste of time; it is theinterviewer's way of checking your ability to be politely sociable, and it is your opportunity to cement the good impression you've already made. The key is to follow the interviewers lead. If he or she wants to chat about the weather for a few minutes, do so. But don't drag it out; as soon as you get a signal that its time to talk about the job, be ready to get down to business.Be ready for the interviewer's questions. The same questions come up again and again in many job interviews. You should plan ahead for all these questions? Think carefully about each question, outline your answer, and memorize each outline. The practice reciting the answers to yourself. Only in this way are you going to be prepared. Here are common questions, what they really mean, and how to answer them: ●"Tell me about yourself." This question is raised to see howorganized you are. The wrong way to answer it is to launch into a wandering, disjointed response or--worse yet--to demand defensively, "What do you want to know?" or "What do you mean?" When this question comes up, you should be prepared to give a brief summary of your life and work experience--where you grew up, where your family lives now, where you went to school, what jobs you've had, and how you happen to be here now looking for the challenge of a new job. ●"What are your strengths and weaknesses? In talking about yourstrong points, mention traits that will serve you well in this particularjob. If you are well-organized, a creative problem-solver, a good team member, or a quick learner, be ready to describe specific ways those strengths have served you in the past. Don't make the mistake of saying, "I don't have any real weaknesses." You'll come across as more believable if you admit a flaw--but make it one that an employer might actually like. For instance, admit that you are a workaholic ora perfectionist.●"Why should we hire you?" Remember that it is up to you to convincethe interviewer that you're the man or woman for this job. If you just sit there and hope that the interviewer will magically discern your good qualities, you are likely to be disappointed. Don't be afraid to sell yourself. Tell the recruiter that from your research you have learned that the interviewer's company is one you would like to work for, and that you believe the company's needs and your skills are a great match.●"Why did you leave your last job?" This may seem like agreat opportunity to cry on the interviewer's shoulder about what a jerk your last boss was or how unappreciated you were. It is not. The experts agree: never bad-mouth anyone when you are asked this question. Say that you left in order to seek greater responsibilities or challenges. Be positive, not negative. No matter how justified you may feel about hating your last job or boss, if you give voice to those feelings in an interview, you're going to make the interviewer suspect that you'rea whiner and hard to work with.●"Do you have any questions?" This is the time to stress one lasttime how interested you are in this particular job. Ask a question or two about specific aspects of the job, pointing out again how well your talents and the company's needs are matched. Even if you're dying to know how much the job pays and how much vacation you get, don't ask. There will be time enough to cover those questions after you've offered the job. Today, your task is to demonstrate what a good employee you would be.Send a thank-you note.Once you've gotten past the interview, there is one more chance for you to make a fine impression. As soon as you can—certainly no more than one or two days after the interview—write a note of thanks to your interviewer. In it, briefly remind him or her of when you came in and what job you applied for. As well as thanking the interviewer for seeing you, reaffirm your interest in the job and mention again why you think you are the best candidate for it. Make the note courteous, businesslike, and brief—just a paragraph or two. Ifthe interviewer is wavering between several equally qualified candidates, such a note could tip the scales in your favor. No amount of preparation is going to make interviewing for a job favorite activity. But if you go in well-prepared and with a positive attitude, your potential employer can't help thinking highly of you. And the day will come when you are the one who wins the job.QuestionsAbout unity1.Either of two sentences in “How to Do Well on a Job Interview” mightserve as the thesis. How to do well in a job interview

How to do well in a job interview

1.How to do well in a job interviewWhen we graduate from university or want to change a job, the majority of us will consider hunting for a job. The job interview is the first step that we should take when job hunting. Only if you succeed in the job interview can you have the opportunity to be member of a company. If not, you may be like a hero without place to display your power. Therefore, “how to succeed in a job interview” is very important for us to learn, specially for us at Web. So many student studying but don’t have jobs, including myself. I hope some of my suggestions can help you, we can describe interview to be “3p”. “What is that?”--------- The first “p”is preparation, the second “p”is presentation, the third “p”is perseverance.First, let’s look at preparation.(1)First of all, to get ready for the job interview, read the job, describe and make sure you understand what is required. Read the company make sure you know how profitable it is(or if it isn’t) make sure you know and understand the products the company sells or makes, also make sure you know what skills you can bring that make you a valuable person for this company.(2)Secondly, make a good clear CV for your interview, please pay attention, don’t write it, type it. Don’t make spelling mistakes.(3)After it’s important to make sure your appearance is seamless and professional, even if your job interview is for a position as a waitress. (NOTE: this does not mean over-dress.) The second key part is presentation.(1)B e on time, well and be neatly dressed and groomed.(2)M aintain good posture all the time, whether seated, standing orwalking.(3)B e enthusiastic, positive and engaged. If I were the bossTo be a boss is a dream for many people, but only few of themseriously think about what being a boss can get. To me, a boss is an intergenerational of boss-------- a believer, an opposer, a scholar and a student. If I were the boss, I would first be a believer in group synergy. As the saying goes, individuals add, team players multiply, a boss is just the one who gives both spiritual and technical leadership that makes the combined efforts of a team more than the sum of each individual. If I were the boss, I would be an opposer to absolute leadership. It is true that the boss is the father and spiritual core of a company, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that he should be at the top of the pyramid all the time. Facts have shown that the most successful CEOs are those who are able to make people with higher degree than themselves work for them and let those talents take the lead in some areas. If I were the boss, I would also be a scholar, of course, a boss cannot be pedantic, but he does need a sophisticated knowledge of both his profession and the outside world at large, which is a most to shape one’s personal charisma. At least, if I were the boss, I would be a student of all my competitors outside and my employees inside the company. I would learn from my competitors how good they are, learn from myemployee how hardworking they are, and thus find out how muchthere are still for me to do.That is just the sort of boss I would like to be------- a believer, an opposer, a scholar and a student.3. harnessGravity from the sun and the moon cause tides in the sun and the moon cause tides in the ocean to rise and fall. In fact, unimaginable amounts of water is constantly in motion in our oceans and for years people have scratched their heads wondering if there is a way to harness the energy is free, while there are many times when the water hardly moves. When the tide is running, about ten hours each day are extremely strong and totally predictable.Unfortunately, harnessing the free power is anything but easy. First, you need a place in which the tidal flow is through a constricted space. Some river estuaries and bays are suitable for this but the number of places around the world that will potentially work well is limited. You also need a way to extract the energy from the water. Two main approaches seems to offer promise. One is to build a large dam across a river estuary or bay. The dam, called a barrage, has underwater holes in it that contain turbines. When the tide floods andraises the water on one side of the dam, the pressure of it rushing through the holes turns the turbines, which, in turn, power electric generators. When the tide ebbs, the water trapped behind the barrage. River estuaries and bays contain mud, in the form of suspended silt, and this tends to clog the turbines. The tidal movement, which is important for the environment health of area, is restricted. In the case of rivers, the movement of fish, particularly during spawning, is also disrupted. Shipping a also blocked.Another way to harness the tides is to use a series of what look like underwater windmills. As the tides flows by them are forced to turn generators and produce electricity. They’re less efficient but the advantage is that, while they must also be located in a bay or estuary, they don’t block it off. Fish, ship and silt can move freely past the turbines.Tidal power is in its infancy and it will never supply all our electricity, but it will certainly help to satisfy our ever-increasing thirst for more power.。

如何在面试中取得成功大学英语作文

如何在面试中取得成功大学英语作文全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1How to Succeed in InterviewsHi friends! Today I want to talk to you about interviews. Interviews are something we all have to do when we're older and trying to get a job or get into a special school. They can be kind of scary, but if you follow my tips, you'll do great!First off, what even is an interview? An interview is a meeting where someone asks you questions to see if you are a good fit for the job or school they have available. The person asking the questions is called the interviewer. It's kind of like a test, but not quite. You don't get graded, but the interviewer decides if you did well enough to get the job or not.Interviews can happen in-person where you go meet the interviewer face-to-face. Or they can be virtual over a video call if you are somewhere far away. In-person is a little scarier because the interviewer can really see everything about you. But virtual is still nerve-wracking because you are on camera. No matter if it's in-person or virtual, there are some important things you need to do to prepare and increase your chances of success. Here are my top tips:Tip #1: Research the Company/SchoolBefore you even go to the interview, you need to learn all about who you are interviewing with. That means reading their website from top to bottom. Look at their mission statement and values. Try to understand what they care about. If it's a school, read about their specialty subjects and extra-curriculars. If it's a business, learn about their products or services. The more you know, the smarter you'll sound!Tip #2: Practice InterviewingOnce you know all about the company or school, you need to practice the interview itself. Have a family member or friend ask you sample questions, just like in a real interview. Some common questions are "Tell me about yourself", "Why are you interested in this job/school?", "What are your strengths and weaknesses?", and "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?". Practice giving clear, confident answers without saying "ummm" or "like" too much.Tip #3: Dress ProfessionallyOnce you have the interview scheduled, you need to pick out a nice, professional outfit to wear. For boys, this could be a suit and tie or at least a button-down shirt and slacks. For girls, a dress, skirt or nice blouse would be perfect. Make sure your clothes are clean and wrinkle-free. You also want to make sure your hair is brushed nicely. Looking professional andput-together shows you are taking the interview seriously.Tip #4: Arrive EarlyOn the day of the interview, make sure you give yourself plenty of extra time to get there, especially if it's in-person. You don't want to be late and frazzled! Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early. That way you can catch your breath and look over your notes one last time before heading inside. Being punctual is important to show your responsibility.Tip #5: Mind Your Body LanguageWhen you meet the interviewer, immediately make eye contact, shake their hand firmly, and smile! This shows confidence. Throughout the interview, sit up nice and straight in your chair. Avoid fidgeting with your hands or feet. Look at the interviewer when they speak, and when you respond. Good posture and eye contact are crucial.Tip #6: Listen CarefullyDuring the actual question-and-answer portion, make sure you listen very carefully to each question the interviewer asks you. Don't interrupt them. Let them finish speaking before you start your answer. If you don't quite understand the question, it's okay to ask for clarification by saying something like "Could you please rephrase that?" or "I want to make sure I understand correctly..."Tip #7: Share ExamplesThe best way to answer interview questions is to use examples from your own life. If they ask about your strengths, you could say "One of my biggest strengths is working well on a team. For example, on my kickball team last season, I always made sure to encourage my teammates and help them stay positive." Using a real example makes your answer stronger.Tip #8: Ask Questions TooAt the end of most interviews, the interviewer will give you a chance to ask them questions. This is mandatory! Come prepared with at least 2-3 thoughtful questions to ask about the company, school, job responsibilities, etc. Asking good questionsshows you are truly interested and came prepared. If you say you don't have any questions, it seems like you don't care very much.Tip #9: Send a Thank You NoteAfter the interview is over, it's proper etiquette to send a thank you note to the interviewer within 24 hours. This can be a handwritten note in the mail or an email. Thank them for their time and restate your interest in the job or school. This final touch of politeness can make you stand out from other candidates.Tip #10: Be Yourself! My final piece of advice is to just be yourself during the interview. Don't try too hard to be someone you aren't. The interviewer wants to get to know the real you - your interests, personality, and passions. If you aren't a good fit, that's okay! The right opportunity will come along where you can be your authentic self.So those are my top 10 tips for rocking your next big interview. You've got this!I know interviews can feel scary, but they don't have to be. Think of them as a chance to have an interesting conversation and learn about some place new. If you follow this advice, I'm sure you'll make a great impression. Who knows, you might even start to enjoy the interview process!Well, that's all for today. Until next time, study hard, be kind, and don't forget to brush your teeth. Buh-bye!篇2How to Succeed in InterviewsHey there! Do you ever feel nervous about having to do interviews? Maybe it's for getting into a new school, or joining a club or sports team. Interviews can be scary, but they don't have to be! I'll share some tips that have helped me do really well in interviews.First, it's super important to prepare properly. You wouldn't go into a big test without studying, right? Well, an interview is kind of like a test, except instead of showing what you know about school subjects, you're showing what an awesome person you are!One of the best ways to prepare is by practicing interview questions with a parent, teacher or friend. Have them ask you common questions like "Tell me about yourself" or "What are your strengths and weaknesses?" Then practice giving calm, confident answers. It might feel silly at first, but practicing will make you much more comfortable. You can also do research about the school, club or team you're interviewing for. What is their mission or philosophy? What kind of students or members are they looking for? Knowing these details can help you give answers that showyou're a great fit.Another key is having confidence in yourself. You're amazing and the interviewers should be lucky to have someone like you! Before the interview, make affirmation statements to yourself like "I'm going to do a great job" or "I have so much to offer." Positive self-talk can work wonders. Now for looking the part on interview day. You'll want to dress neatly and professionally, but you don't need an entire suit unless specified. Nice clothes that fit well and are wrinkle-free are perfect. Guys can wear nice pants and a button-down shirt. Girls can wear a skirt or dress, or nice pants with a blouse. Justavoid ratty old t-shirts or clothes with holes or stains. You'll look put-together and ready for success!Don't forget about good hygiene too. Make sure your hair is brushed, your hands and face are clean, and you've used deodorant. You'll feel fresh and confident. It's generally best not to wear a lot of makeup, perfume or cologne though since some people are sensitive to smells. When it's time for the interview, be sure to get there several minutes early. This shows you're responsible and respectful of other people's time. Once you get there, Stand up straight with your shoulders back. This projects confidence. When you get called in, smile, make eye contact, and give a nice firm handshake. First impressions are important!During the interview, it's okay to take a few seconds before answering each question. This gives you time to formulate a thoughtful response instead of just blurting out whatever. If you get stuck, you can politely ask for clarification or a moment to think. It's much better than rambling!Remember to speak slowly and clearly too. The interviewers need to be able to understand you. And don't be afraid to throw in words like "therefore," "furthermore," or "in addition." Usingmore advanced language makes you sound mature andwell-spoken.Finally, have a couple questions ready to ask the interviewers at the end. You could ask about their favorite parts of the school, club or team. Or what kind of student or member they think would be most successful. This shows you have genuine interest and initiative. When the interview is over, shake hands again, thank the interviewers for their time, and leave calmly and confidently. You did your best and should be proud of yourself no matter what! Remember that not getting picked isn't a failure, it's just a chance to learn and grow for future opportunities. So those are my top tips for rocking any interview! If you believe in yourself, prepare properly, and follow this advice, I know you'll give an amazing impression. Interviews don't have to be something to fear. In fact, they can be kind of fun when you know what to do! Just think how great you'll feel leaving that interview knowing you nailed it. You've got this!篇3How to Smash Your Interview and Get Into Your Dream SchoolHey kids! Are you nervous about upcoming school interviews? Don't worry, I've got your back! Interviews can seem super scary, but if you follow my tips, you'll be a total pro. Just think of it like talking to a friendly grandparent about your favorite things. Easy peasy!First up, you gotta prepare. Don't just wing it! That's a recipe for disaster. You need to do your homework on the school you're interviewing for. What's their philosophy? What cool programs do they offer? What kind of students do they like? Dig deep and get to know them inside and out.Next, practice your answers out loud. Yeah, it might feel a little silly at first, but it really helps! Have your parents or a friend ask you common interview questions so you can rehearse your responses. Things like "Why do you want to attend this school?" and "What are your strengths and weaknesses?" The more you practice, the more natural you'll sound. Now for the big day! You gotta dress to impress. That doesn't mean you have to go full-on fancy, but neat, clean clothes that make you feel confident are a must. Wrinkly t-shirts are a no-go. Iron those shirts, kids! When you get there, shake hands firmly and make eye contact. Smile and be friendly! The interviewer is a person too,not a scary monster. They just want to get to know the awesome you.During the actual interview, sit up straight and speak clearly. Don't mumble or rushy your words. If you didn't hear a question, just politely ask them to repeat it. No biggie! It's way better than trying to fake an answer.Be honest about your strengths AND weaknesses. Everybody has weaknesses, and that's okay! Maybe you struggle with math, or haven't learned to bake yet. Own it, and explain how you're working to improve. The interviewer will probably ask you a million questions about your interests, goals, and experiences. This is your chance to shine! Don't just list boring facts. Tell stories that show your passion and personality. If you did an amazing art project, describe the inspiration behind it in vivid detail. If you volunteer, share a memorable experience that meant a lot to you. Most importantly, be yourself! Don't try to act like someone you're not, because they want to get to know the real you. Let your quirky side show through. Maybe you have a cool obsession with dinosaurs or can list every Pokémon's names. Interviewers love that kind of fun, genuine stuff! At the end of the interview, shake their hand again, make eye contact, and thank them for their time. You crushed it!After the interview, write them a nice thank you note. Grown-ups love getting mail that isn't bills! Maybe draw a little picture on it too.If you follow those tips, you'll feel ready to take on the world – or at least a school interview! Just remember to get enough sleep, eat a good breakfast, and stay hydrated. You don't want to be a yawning, hungry mess. Most of all, don't stress! Interviews are just conversations to help schools get to know you better. They're not trying to stump you with trick questions or anything mean like that. Be real, be passionate, and let your awesomeness shine through! You've got this, kiddo! With a bit of preparation and a positive attitude, that dream school will be accepting you with open arms. Just take a deep breath and go get 'em!篇4How to Smash Your Job Interviews!Hi there! I'm just a kid, but I've learned a bunch about doing well in job interviews from watching my parents and oldersiblings. Interviews can be scary, but if you follow these tips, you'll smash it for sure!First up, you gotta prepare like crazy! That means researching the company you're interviewing with. What do they do? What are their values? What kind of people do they hire? You can find lots of info on their website and social media pages.Next, study yourself! Make a list of your skills, experiences, and accomplishments that make you perfect for the job. Maybe you were captain of the soccer team which shows leadership. Or you won the science fair two years in a row which proves you're wicked smart. Remind yourself why you rock! Now practice answering common interview questions out loud. Grown-ups always ask stuff like "Tell me about yourself," "What are your strengths and weaknesses," and "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?" Have your answers ready to go, but don't just recite them robotically. You want to sound natural when you explain why you'll be amazing at the job.Speaking of sounding natural, watch out for filler words like "um" and "like." They make you seem unsure of yourself. It's okay to pause and gather your thoughts instead of cramming in those unnecessary words. When it's time for the real deal, dress for success! That probably means slacks, a nice shirt, and dress shoes for boys. For girls, maybe a skirt or dress and flats. Just look professional and put-together.Once you get there, give the interviewer a firm handshake, make eye contact, and smile! They'll warm up to your sunny confidence right away. Sit up straight too – no slouching!During the interview, be sure to stop after each question and think through your response. It's okay to take a breath before diving in. Rushing can make you stumble over words or say something you didn't mean to.When they inevitably ask if you have any questions (and you better!), inquire about things that show you're interested in the role and company. Maybe ask about the work culture, opportunities for growth, or what they love most about working there. At the end, thank the interviewer for their time and sayyou're really excited about the possibility of joining the team. A sincere compliment about something you admire goes a long way too! After you're back home, take a deep breath and pat yourself on the back. Even if you don't get this job, practicing interviews helps you get better each time. Stay positive! Those are my kiddo tips for ruling your interviews. You'll see – if you go in prepared, confident, and enthusiastic, the job is as good as yours. Just think about how proud your parents will be when you crush it! Manager: I’ve just looked over your resume and I must admit I am quite impressed.我已经看过你的简历了,我得承认我对你的简历印象不错。

Sales Rep: Thank you. I’ve worked pretty hard to be able to list those accomplishments.谢谢。

由于我自己努力才能换来这些成果。

Manager: You’ve got plenty of trai ning and experience. I wonder if you could tell me something about your goals. Where do you see yourself ten years from now?你接受的培训和工作经验都很丰富。

能否告诉我你的目标?十年以后你准备在到什么目标?Rep: To be honest, I don’t plan in that much detail. My goals tend to be general;I define success according to the job at hand. I see myself advancing as I succeed, but I don’t necessarily dwell on the timing of each step.说实话,我的目标没有那么具体要。

我只有大致的目标,我认为是否成功取决于手头上的工作。

我看到自己在不断前进,不断成功,但我觉得没有必要拘泥于每一步要花的时间。

Manager: interesting! And how do you feel about decision-making? Are you an independent thinker, or do you depend more on your superior for direction?有意思! 你对“作决定”有什么看法?你是个独立思考者,还是更多地依赖上级的指示?Rep: That depends a bit on the problem at hand. There are certain situations in which a manager can give a general directive, and expect his employees to know how to take the initiative on the details. I am known for taking the initiative, but I believe I also have the discernment to wait for direction when the situation calls for that.这就要看当时手头上的工作是什么。
