1My Dream of Becoming a SniperEver since I was a little kid, I've had this big dream of becoming a sniper when I grow up. I know it might sound kind of weird for a young boy to want a job like that, but just hear me out.You see, I've always been really good at focusing and concentrating for long periods of time. My parents and teachers are always telling me how I have "laser-beam attention" when I'm interested in something. I can sit for hours just reading books about snipers, watching sniper documentaries, or playing sniper video games. My mind just totally zeros in.I'm also an excellent marksman already at my age. Last summer at camp, I was the top shooter out of everyone, even the counselors! I ended up teaching some of the other kids how to shoot properly. The instructor said I have incredible patience, steady hands, and an incredibly keen eye for detail - which are all crucial sniper skills. But I don't just want to be a sniper because I'm naturally good at that type of thing. For me, it's about protecting people and serving my country. The idea of being a guardian watching over my fellow citizens from up high just resonates with me. I have such a strong sense of duty and loyalty. Whenever I see videos of snipers protecting troops or civilians, I get goosebumps thinking about how heroic they are.I know there's a lot of training and hard work involved in becoming an elite sniper though. You have to be physically fit, highly disciplined, and have incredible mental toughness. The sniper courses and schools are extremely challenging from what I've read. But I'm ready for that challenge! I'm already doing lots of target practice, studying advanced mathematics for trajectories and windage, and working out to get stronger. My parents even got me a ghillie suit for my birthday, which is the camouflage gear snipers wear. I practice staying perfectly still for hours at a time when I'm wearing it.Snipers also have to be able to stay calm under unbelievable pressure. Their lives and the lives of their teammates could depend on making one perfect shot from over a mile away. Just the thought of that much responsibility gives me chills, but in an exciting way. I want to be that person that everyone depends onin the most critical moments. With my skills, dedication, and desire to protect others, I know I can handle it.篇2My Dream of Becoming a SniperEver since I was a little kid, I've had one big dream - to become an expert sniper! I know it sounds kind of weird for a young person to want a job like that, but I just find snipers so fascinating.I love watching movies and TV shows about snipers. They're always the tough, cool guys who can take out the bad people from really far away with just one perfectly aimed shot. I think that's an amazing skill to have. Being able to focus that intensely and make such a difficult shot from hundreds of yards away just blows my mind.I've played a lot of video games with sniper missions too. Having to find the perfect hiding spot, adjust for wind and distance, and decide the precise moment to squeeze the trigger makes my heart race every time. When I finally nail the target after all that preparation, it's such a huge rush! I'll pump my fist in the air and do a little victory dance around my room. Myparents just shake their heads at me, but they know how much I love the challenge. In school, I'm awesome at all the activities that develop skills good snipers need. I can sit perfectly still and quiet for ages during quiet reading time. My art teacher says I have a "spooky" level of patience and attention to detail when we're drawing still lifes. And in PE, I'm one of the best in archery unit every year. Bullseye after bullseye! The gym teacher says I was born for target sports.I've also been working on building up my physical strength and stamina. Snipers have to carry around heavy equipment for miles, sometimes crawling big distances to get into position. Then they have to be able to lie in one cramped, uncomfortable position for hours or even days without moving a muscle while they wait for their target. It takes incredible muscular endurance.Every night, I do push-ups, sit-ups, and lift weights in my basement. I run laps around the park near my house every evening too. In the summer, I'll run for an hour or two in the hot sun, gulping down warm water to practice being in harsh environments. My parents think I'm a little nutty, but they appreciate that I'm so dedicated to my fitness. I'm already stronger than most adults!Once we've gone through the safety chec篇3My Dream of Being a SniperEver since I was a little kid, I've had this big dream of becoming a sniper when I grow up. I know it might sound kinda strange for a kid to want a job like that, but just hear me out.I've always been really good at aiming things. When I was 5 years old, I could throw a baseball straighter than any of the big kids at the park. I was a crackshot with my Nerf guns too. No matter how far away the targets were, I could always hit them bang on. My parents were amazed at how I never missed. At first, they thought I might want to be a baseball player or something when I got older. But then they started to realize that my talent went way beyond just throwing balls around. It was like I had this gift for weaponry from the moment I came outta the womb!I remember when I was 6, my dad took me to the shooting range for the first time. He figured I was too little to handle a real gun yet, so he just had me start out with a BB gun. Man, I'll never forget the look on his face when I hit every single target, eventhe teeny-tiny ones wayyyy off in the distance. He just stood there with his jaw hanging open, totally stunned. From then on, my parents started taking me shooting as often as they could. We'd go to the gun range, or sometimes out to the countryside where there were tons of open space and old bottles or cans to aim at. No matter where we were or what I was shooting at, I never missed a beat. It was like the gun was just an extension of my own arms. All the grown-ups started calling me "Dead-Eye Dan" because my aim was so deadly accurate. I'll be honest, at first I thought that was a kinda weird nickname for a little kid. But the more I learned about what snipers do, the more I realized that it fit me perfectly.A real sniper has to be patient, focused, and able to line up a shot with ultimate precision. You can't just go spraying bullets all over the place like in an action movie. It takes serious skills and serious discipline. And from what everyone around me could see, I definitely had those skills. Even as a 7-year-old, I could hold a scope steady as a rock for literally hours if I needed to.The toughest part for me hasn't been the shooting itself, but all the other stuff that goes along with being a sniper. Like learning to camouflage myself in any environment so I blend incompletely. Or studying advanced geography and meteorology so I can factor in distance, wind speeds, air density, and a million other variables before taking the perfect shot.I've spent countless hours in our backyard, disguising myself with mud and branches and leaves, seeing how still and quiet I can become. My parents say I move like a ghost sometimes. One second I'm right there, and the next, I've seemingly just vanished into thin air without making a sound. In school, I've always gotten straight A's in subjects like math, physics, and earth science. My teachers are constantly rambling on about what a gifted mind I have for complex calculations and analysis. I just smile and nod, because they have no idea it's all preparation for my future as a sniper.Don't get me wrong, I've looked into other potential careers over the years too. Like being a pro video gamer or a fighter pilot. But none of them have that same cool, stealthy vibe that really speaks to me. With sniping, it's like you're this unseen force that can take down the enemy from miles away without them ever knowing what hit them. It's a crazy kind of power when you think about it.That's why I've also been training my mind and body relentlessly. Hitting the gym to build up my strength andendurance. Practicing mind control exercises to boost my concentration. Studying books on warfare tactics and the psychology of combat. I wanna be prepared for anything and everything when my day finally comes. Some kids dream about becoming astronauts or pop stars or presidents. That's just never really appealed to me, though. For as long as I can篇4My Dream to Become a SniperEver since I was a little kid, I've had this big dream of becoming a sniper. I know it might sound kinda weird for a small fry like me to want such a dangerous job, but hear me out!Being a sniper is just about the coolest thing ever. They get to lay on their bellies in awesome ghillie suits that make them practically invisible. Can you imagine how fun that would be?! Blending in with the grass and bushes, unseen by anyone. Like a secret ninja guerilla warrior! And then there are the crazy high-tech sniper rifles they use. Those things are like works of art. So precise and accurate from huge distances. Every little detail has to be perfect - from thescope to the barrel to the ammunition. Just thinking about lining up that perfect shot gets me revved up! The skill, the patience, the concentration required...it's almost like meditative.I remember when my pawpaw first took me shooting at his gun range out in the country. I was only 6 years old but determined to be the best dadgum shooter out there. Pawpaw started me off with a .22 rifle and by golly, did I take to it fast! I could ding one of those little soup can targets from 100 yards pretty quick. Pawpaw said he was awful proud of hissharp-shootin' grandson. From there, I just became obsessed with guns and shooting. Every month I'd beg my parents to take me to the range to practice. Birthdays and Christmases, all I wanted were new scopes, magazines, targets...anything to feed my passion. They finally bought me my own rifle for my 10th birthday and I can't remember ever being more excited in my whole life!In school, I'm that classic kid who stares out the window during class, daydreaming about stalking through fields and woods unseen like a silent predator. My teachers are always fussing at me to focus instead of daydreaming. If only they understood - I am focused...just on my ultimate goal! The way I see it, the life of a sniper would be perfect for me. All that time alone out in nature, polishing your skills to stay sharp and ready. Tracking your target for days, accommodating for wind, elevation, distance. Exercising utmost self-control and discipline. And then finally... that sweet sound of your .50 cal round finding its mark from over a mile away. The exhilaration of a perfect shot! Could anything be more thrilling?Yeah, yeah, I know some folks might be all judgy about a kid wanting to become a sniper. But see, the way I look at it, snipers are true guardians. They'll put their own lives at risk to protect their spotter and their outfit from getting ambushed. A good sniper can take out threats quickly and precisely from concealed positions before anyone even knows what hit them. Saving so many lives while risking their own. To me, that's the ultimate act of bravery and heroism. In my dreams, I'm already picturing myself all grown up in a ghillie suit, face covered in camo paint as I lay camouflaged for hours upon hours, breathing slowly and steadily. My spidey senses would be tingling as I detected the faintest sounds and movements all around me that no regular person would notice. And then...I'd take the shot that nobody else could make to save the day. How insanely cool would that be?!My parents worry that this fascination with guns and being a sniper is unhealthy for a kid. They're always trying to steer me towards "safer" careers like being a doctor, lawyer or businessman. But those paths just don't speak to the fire burning in my belly! I need that intense adrenaline rush. That sense of putting my finely-tuned skills to the ultimate test. A cushy office job would just bore me to tears.Instead of discouraging me, my parents really ought to nurture this aspiration. Think about it - the world will always need elite snipers to protect us. Why not their son? I'm showing the primal skills and mindset required at such a young age. Most kids my age can't sit still for 5 minutes, but I can maintain a sniper's patient, disciplined vigil for篇5My Dream of Being a SniperEver since I was a little kid, I've had one big dream - to become an elite sniper. I know it might sound weird for someone my age to want a job like that, but I've always been fascinated by snipers and the skills they possess.I remember the first time I learned what a sniper was. My dad took me to see a movie about a sniper in the military. At first,I didn't really understand what was going on. But then I saw this soldier hiding in the grass, perfectly camouflaged, with hishigh-powered rifle. He had to stay absolutely still and silent for hours waiting for the perfect moment to take the shot. When he finally did, he hit his target from over a mile away! I was amazed. From that moment on, I knew I wanted to be a sniper when I grew up.My friends all want to be firefighters, police officers, doctors or astronauts when they grow up. Those are cool jobs too, but not for me. I want the challenge of being a sniper. It's not just about pulling a trigger. Snipers need incredible focus, patience, determination and toughness, both mentally and physically. They go through some of the most intense training in the military to develop skills like marksmanship, camouflage, fieldcraft, reconnaissance and discretion. A sniper has to be able to disappear into their surroundings and control their breathing and heart rate to stay invisible. One tiny mistake could put them and their team in danger. It's an amazing display of discipline and self-control.I love practicing my marksmanship already. My dad started taking me to a shooting range when I was 8 years old to learn about different firearms and how to shoot them properly andsafely. We started with air rifles and BB guns, and I've worked my way up to .22 caliber rifles. I spend hours at the range, adjusting for wind, elevation, breathing patterns - all the little details that separate an average shooter from an expert marksman. Dad says I have a real natural talent and an exceptional eye. He's so proud when I hit bullseyes from long distances. I feel an amazing sense of pride and accomplishment too.In addition to target practice, I also go on hiking and camping trips to work on other sniper skills. I've learned how to navigate using just a map and compass. How to stalk through the woods without making a sound. How to camouflage myself and my equipment so I blend perfectly into the environment. How to construct a concealed sniper's nest. Funny enough, I've even practiced holding perfectly still for long periods by playing games with my friends to see who can stay frozen the longest without flinching! You'd be surprised how hard it is to control all your little muscle movements and twitches when you really try.I know some people might think it's weird for a kid to be so interested in this kind of work. They imagine snipers as just silent killing machines without feelings. But that's not true at all. The best snipers don't think about killing - they think about protecting. They're patient guardians, constantly vigilant, whouse their skills to keep people safe and save lives when needed. To me, that's one of the most honorable jobs there is. A sniper has to be both a warrior and a scientist, using intelligence, preparation and brain rather than just brute force. That's the kind of disciplined professional I aspire to be.Some of my friends just don't understand my fascination with snipers. They'd rather play video games or sports. That's fine for them, but not for me. In my mind, I'm already dressing in camouflage, carefully dialed into my scope, studying the terrain and waiting for my moment. My dream is to join the military one day and have the incredible honor of becoming an elite sniper, protecting my country and my teammates with my skills, discipline and dedication. Not everyone can handle that kind of intense psychological and physical challenge. But I know I can. Being a sniper is my calling, and I'm going to make it happen through hard work and perseverance. It's a lifelong journey that started when I was just a little kid watching that movie, and it will culminate with me taking my place as a guardian from the shadows. I can't wait.篇6My Dream of Being a SniperEver since I was a little kid, I've had one big dream – to be a sniper when I grow up. I know it might sound kind of strange for someone my age to want to be a sniper, but I just think it would be the coolest job ever!First of all, being a sniper means you get to use awesome guns and weapons. I love playing first-person shooter video games, and I'm really good at aiming and taking out targets from far away. My friends are always impressed by how well I can snipe the enemy team. In real life as a sniper, I'd get to use huge high-powered rifles with scopes and silencers and all sorts of awesome gear. How cool would that be?But it's not just about the weapons. Snipers have to be really stealthy and able to sneak around without being seen or heard. That's like being a real-life ninja! I practice being sneaky all the time, creeping up on my parents or little sister to scare them. They never know I'm there until I pop out and yell "Bang! You're dead!" As a sniper, I could blend into my surroundings and stalk my targets for hours or days before taking them out with a single perfect shot.Snipers also have to be crazy patient. They often have to lie still in one hidden spot for hours or even days on end, waiting for the right moment to take the shot. That's no problem for me - Ican spend hours playing the same video game level over and over, clearing it perfectly. My parents are always yelling at me for playing too much, but all that practice on being motionless for hours is just preparing me for my future sniper missions! And let's not forget, snipers are amazing shots who never miss their mark. With the intense training I'd get, I'd be able to make micro-adjustments for wind, distance, even the curvature of the Earth over long ranges. Then POW! One shot, one kill, from like a mile away. The enemy would never even know what hit them. It would be such a rush.I know that as a sniper, I'd get to travel all over for intense covert operations. Jungles, arctic tundras, desert badlands, the sniper's job is never done! How awesome would it be to incorporate survival skills and live off the land while carrying out my secret sniper missions? I already practice building shelters and traps out in the woods behind my house. I'm a master at camouflage too, using mud and leaves to blend in perfectly with my surroundings. My sniper ghillie suit would be so cool!Being a sniper does mean I'd have to keep my job a total secret from everyone, even my family. That way, no one could slip up and blow my cover when I'm deep undercover on a mission. I'm already really good at keeping secrets, like when Ifind out surprise gifts my parents got me. I never let on that I know in advance. As a sniper, I'd have to be comfortable being all alone for long periods too. But that's okay, some of my happiest times are just hanging out by myself reading cool military books or watching sniper movies.I know there would be a lot of hard work and training involved to become an elite sniper. But I'm willing to put in the effort because it's my biggest passion. I'd quit video games, focus solely on enhancing my skills, and become as strong and fit as a professional athlete. Holding perfectly still for days, climbing, rappelling, rucking for miles with heavy gear - no challenge would be too much because being a sniper is my destiny. My parents might think it's a little weird that I want to be a sniper when I grow up. But I don't care, I've。

Purpose of education教育的目的是培养对社会有用的人还是让人实现个人抱负 英语作文

Purpose of education教育的目的是培养对社会有用的人还是让人实现个人抱负 英语作文

Some people say that the purpose of education is to prepare individuals to be useful to society. Others say its purpose is to prepare individuals to achieve personal ambitions.Discuss these views and give your opinion. Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience. You should write at least 250 words.Model Answer 1:The nature of education is to humanise human, stated by Paolo Pereira. Some people believe that humanising human means that every person should be beneficial for society on howsocieties get the advantages from their knowledge and skills. However, others believe that they attend the education institutions for having skills and experience as the tools to enter job market easily. This essay aims to discuss both purposes as well as provide several reasons.People tend to focus on developing their social awareness through education in order to bring the society become a better community. They believe that the ultimate aim of education is that to contribute as well as to implement the knowledge and skills for the prosperity of society. For example, those who are expertise in agriculture science probably educate the farmers how to have a good quality of plants, how to manage the irrigation system well and how to conduct the product sales in the market. Moreover, graduates are believed as the social agents who bridge the society and government in terms of making society based policy. If there is a controversial policy that harms people, educated persons are probably asked by those people to help them conducting negotiation even against the policy. On the other hand, some believe that the ultimate aim of having an education is that people tend to get certain skills and experience as the main tools to achieve a good position in the job market. The company might require well-educated workers and put them in a strategic position which brings them to such more prosperous economic life condition. It is undeniable to stop people making education as the way to gain personal purpose because it is their personal rights. In addition, government guarantees every single person to have education for whatever the purpose as long as it is still on the education rules.I believe that both purposes of people in entering education institution discussed above might be in line together. We can be valuable persons for the society while having a job which we allocate some money from our salaries to educate people by providing the fund for those children who need it for school fee. The higher salary we achieve, the more money we can donor. In short, everyone has their own targets to entering schools, universities or colleges. The most important thing is how to save ourselves byhaving a permanent job while contributing ours kills for the prosperity of society.Model Answer 2:In current years, the aim of pursuing higher education has been widely a fashionable trend. Some people believe that education lays on the aim of preparing individuals to serve the society. While some others assert that education conducts personal goal. Indeed, these issues emerges a fierce debate. As regards for this case, I will scrutinise both views along with related examples. To begin with, the idea that every living individual belongs to the more complex group is a very basic concept which shapes any aspect of human life including education. This further becomes a framework of education nurturing people in the sake of emerging positive impact to the broad communities. In this regards, as a part of the society, individuals are responsible for contributing their knowledge they have acquired. Subsequently, it is strongly assumed that knowledge without devotion is such a meaningless sense in any variant of ways. It is the sense of devotion which encourageindividuals to achieve their education for the sake of benefiting others.Furthermore, the national government urges the schools to enrich the pupils with the sense of nationalism where the citizen has to put public necessity over personal need. A very good example is Indonesian Government requires schools to provide nationality subject in elementary and junior high schools. In contrast, obtaining individual ambition should remain as the purpose of education particularly in the modern age. As is it widely acknowledged that individualism becomes a major trend wherepeople put aside social aspect. Undoubtedly, modern lifestyle propels people to seek their own desire of how their education should be aimed to.Moreover, the belief that people must fulfil their own need plays an essential role in this case. Finally, human rights tell us the freedom of everyone choice in focusing their own passion. For instance, people has legal rights to assert their purpose in acquiring education. To sum up, I personally think that preparing individuals to devote the society outweighs the other view in the term of education purpose.。

[1] Why Are You Poor Have an open mindset(心态)The most important thing to becoming rich for you is to have a mindset to want to become rich. The reason I say that is this, is because I wanted to become rich when I played Monopoly(垄断), that was, I was nine years old. The greatest formula for wealth is found on that board game. When I was nine years old my poor dad, the school teacher said, “Ah, put the game away. Study, study, study! You’re wasting your time playing Monopoly.” And my rich dad said, “The formula, you must open your mind and see the formula right on Monopoly.”It’s right in front of you.”And I went, “What’s the formula?”And finally I learned the formula is:four green houses, red hotel, four green houses, red hotel.Today I’m a rich man becaus e all I ever did since the time I was 24 years old was buy four green houses, sell them all, buy a red hotel. Four green houses, red hotel. It is not that you have to go to school to become rich.Just play Monopoly; four green houses, red hotel. That is it.You must look at how people before you have become rich.Do not talk to poor people.Poor people will tell you: “Oh it’s too risky. Don’t do that.Don’t take risk. Save your money. Play it safe.”That is a poor person’s mindset. You must have an open mindset, o pen.And if you have an open mindset you will learn from everything. If you have a closed mindset you will learn from nothing. So I think that is the most important thing. The difference between money and wealth No, I don’t have a salary.I’ve only had a job for four years in my life.I don’t want a salary. The middle class and poor, what they want is high income. They think they want money. But they have no wealth because they have no assets. You must know the difference between money and wealth but they’re not the same thing.Money will never make you rich. This makes you rich.I have large companies. I have lots of stocks.I trade options.I have real estate, that’s what makes me rich so the money just comes in whether I work or not.Bill Gates makes 500,000 a year. That’s all. I make more than him. That’s all he makes but he’s worth 40 billion.I’m trying to tell you there is a very big difference between income, money and wealth. So I have spent my life buying assets: businesses, stocks, real estate. That’s what makes you rich, not a job.The reason the rich in America get richer is they pass this on to their kids.My poor dad always said: “High paying job, high paying job, high paying job.”And my rich dad said: “Assets, assets, assets.” That’s the difference.[2] The Biggest Secret of SuccessOnce there was a young man who came to ask Socrates(苏格拉底)how to learn philosophy.Socrates said nothing but took him along to a river. He suddenly pushed him into the river forcibly(强制地).At first the young man thought Socrates was kidding so he didn’t take it to heart. But Socrates also jumped into the river and pulled hishead into the water desperately(拼命的).At this time the young man was really scared. His instinct (本能)of living made him use all his strength lifting Socrates and climbed to the bank. The young man asked Socrates with puzzle why he did that.Soc rates replied, “I just want to tell you whatever you do,do it with the determination to be unexpectedly rescued from a desperate situation.Only like that can you make a genuine(真正的)achievement.”[3] The Prime Condition, Great Secret of SuccessIt is well that young men should begin at the beginning and occupy the most subordinate(次要的)positions. Many of the leading businessmen of Pittsburgh(匹兹堡)had a serious responsibility thrust upon them at the very threshold(极限。

英语口语考试个人话题

1.Is it possible for a woman to be a successful mother and have asuccessful professional career? Should society encourage or discourage women from combining the two?Yes, I think a woman can be a successful mother and have a successful professional career but it is a little difficult. Because women usually are the caregivers for husbands, children and, often, for ageing parents. And even in full-time employment, they are expected to continue to play this role. But I don’t think the two are conflicted. Society should encourage women from combining the two, because man and woman are equal. It is not just mothers’ obligation to care for the children. On the other hand, how difficult to find a job for a divorced woman in such a high-divorce society? Both men and women should learn to balance their work and family.2. Should University students focus on their specialized areas or fundamental courses?I think university students should focus on their fundamental courses. Specialized areas are based on fundamental courses. For example, how can you build a tall building without a solid foundation? The same is true of learning.Usually the knowledge we learned in university are disjointed from development of society. So when we are applying for jobs after graduation, we may find the professional knowledge we have is out of date. It will be difficult to learn new things without a solid foundation. Despite all the apparent changes, what remains essentially the same are the fundamental courses. I believe fundamental courses are the roots of great innovation.3.Should students choose their majors to meet their personal needs andinterests or the need of society?I think students should choose majors to meet the need of society. Here are some reasons.First, from a personal perspective, the ultimate aim of going to college is to find a job and make money. So what we need to think about is how to meet the requirements of society and enterprises. Only in this way can we find a job easily so that we can realize our value. If we only consider personal needs and interests when choose majors, we are likely to fail to find a job after graduation.Second, from a social perspective, the purpose of our studying in college is to serve society with what we learn. So it would be useless if we ignore social demands when choose majors. In a word, I think the majors we choose should depend on the needs of society.4. Indoor and outdoor activities, which one do you prefer?I prefer outdoor activities. First of all, I can not only keep fit but also be close to nature and breathe fresh air. Evidence has shown that connecting with nature can boost moods and bring even greater advantages. In addition, I like challenging sports such as skiing and orienteering which I can’t do indoors. If I choose stay indoors, I feel like I would be bound by the activities I could do. Besides, I think there are more choices and freedom to do outdoor activities. For example, if I want to picnic at beach, I can go off on my bike, play on the beach and enjoy the beauty of sunset.I believe I can have more fun to do outdoor activities. At the same time, there are also disadvantages of outdoor activities. It is full of all kinds of dangerous and uncertain factors. Therefore, we must pay attention to our safety.4, Do you mind being played a trick on during entertainment?I don't mind being played a trick on during entertainment, as long as his jokes are not too rude.First of all, I have to tell his trick is benign or malicious. On the one hand, If it's just purely jokes to make others happy, I don't mind it. People participate in entertainment activities, and our purpose is for fun. If I can make others happy, I will be very happy, and people will remember me. At the same time, the distance between people get closer in the process of joking with each other. On the other hand, if someone maliciously playing tricks on me, it will make me angry. I absolutely can't tolerate others to insult me. Entertainment activities must be based on mutual respect. No one can beyond the bottom line.In a word, I don't mind being played a trick on during entertainment to please everyone, as long as it is appropriate.5. Do you prefer to shop in big supermarket or convenience stores in the neighborhood?I prefer shop in big supermarket. There are some reasons.First, big supermarket has almost everything I want, and I enjoy pushing the cart around. I can buy toiletries and small home appliances at the same time in big supermarket, but I can’t do that in convenience stores.Second, I tend to have faith in the quality of the goods in big supermarket. Besides, the after-sales service is in time and perfect. In addition, big supermarket often offers bargains while convenience shores don’t.But sometimes when I am badly in need of something, I would shop in convenience stores to save time.7、Do you believe in the following saying "You get what you pay for"? Yes, I believe the saying that you get what you pay for. Today we are living in a fast and changeable world ,but the motto ,you get what you pay for ,is still a truth .In study ,no learner can break through any question or set up any theory(理论) without constant(解释) exploration .In society ,if a man is decided to give nothing before ,he will never be given angthing after. And between a person and other one ,they can only gain friendship during paying love, time ,energy even money for each other.8. Should mobile phone shielding devices be installed in all college teaching buildings?I think mobile phone shielding devices should be installed in all college teaching buildings. With the development of information society, mobile phones have become one part of our life gradually. We use them to contact others, browse webpage and microblogs. There is nothing wrong with playing mobile phones when students are free. But , in fact, many students would play at class, which is not only decrease study efficiency but also show disrespect to the teachers.9. Talk about the problem of globesity(全球肥胖).With the society development, moer and more people are too fat.fat will result in many issues, for example ,fat people will get heart problem than normal people.so globesity become a global problem to human health. therefore, every fat man or woman ought to take measure to fightglobesity.to begin with, doing sport is a good way to lose weight, such as running, swimming and so on.then,we can’t eat junk food any more and try to eat vegetables and fruits to build our bady.2.Do you prefer backpack Traveling or a package tour?As far as i am concerned, i perfer backpack traveling ,there are some reasons support my point. First of all, concerned with package tour, backpack traveling is more free and flexible ,you know, the aim of traveling is to relax ourselves ,If we choose package tour, the result maybe more exhousted, this is not what we want. What is more,as a university student ,if we take part in backpack traveling, that means we can go out together with some friends.you can think how interesting it is to go to travel with friends . Last but not least, the biggest advantage of backpack traveling is saveing money .For college student ,we don’t have enough money to go to travel ,so backpacktraveling is more appropriate for college student.3.Do you agree with the statement that "developed countries have ahigher obligation to combat climate change than developing countries"?Why or why not?I agree with this point ,there are some reasons that support my views.Firstly, there is no doubt that developted countries make more pollutions than develpoing countries on the procedure of economic development ,so we have deeply reason to believe developed countries should take more responsibility to combat change than developing countries. What is more ,developed countries is richer than development countries .Last but not least,i think developed countries should do more meaningful work for the world .But i don’t mean there is no obligation for developing countries.Everyone have the obligation to protect the earth. If everyone every country do some contributation, the world will be better.4.Talk about the negative effects of phubbing on college students. With the development of smart phone ,more and more people perfer to play mobile phone rather than other important things. As a popular saying goes “Every coin has two sides ”,the smart phone isnot exception. There are more and more negative effects appear with the popularity of smart phone .First of all ,time wasting,When we play smart phone, that means there are lost of time have been wasted by ourselves. What’s more, personal safety,it is so dangerous for those people who would like to play smart phone on the rode .Nextly, interpersonal indifference, the smart phone take the place of comunication between person. Last but not least,i believe everyone have the experience playing smart phone lead to delay important things.。

The ultimate aim of looking for a job is to live a substantial and happy life
What’s the ultimate goal of looking for a job? Just as the saying goes, “so many people, so many minds.” Different people have different answers to this question. Some people claim that the final objective of seeking a job is to earn money. But in fact, the ultimate aim of looking for a job is to live a substantial and happy life.
There are many facts in favor of my opinion, one such fact is that so many teachers who teach in rural areas or impoverished regions are very optimistic and happy about their contribution to the education. Though the salary is low, they live a mentally rich life for giving out their light and heat to those in need. There’s no denying that we need money to support ourselves and our family, and a miserable life stands closely with poverty-stricken families. For survival, we surely need to find a job to earn money. However, it’s just for temporary. Can you imagine having a career that you’re not interested or even hate just for making a living or a luxurious life? We are human beings, not machines! Job takes large part of our life. When money becomes the only motivation of our career, what’s the meaning and fun of our life? We need to enrich ourselves and, money can provide us with material condition, but can’t fill the hole of our soul.
We are not the slave of money, and money can’t assure us of a substantial and happy life.。
