一、试题结构分析从考查的题型板块来看，广州市中考英语主要从口语、听力、单项选择、语法选择、完形填空、阅读理解、首字母填空、完成句子以及书面表达等九个部分综合考查学生能力，具体如下：1）口语：广州中考口语先于笔试于每年五月份进行考查，口语考试依次分为朗读、对话、简短说话三个部分，这个部分分值为5分。
而口语考试的三个部分顺序可能会发生变化，或以先对话，再朗读，后简短对话的形式出现，但无论顺序如何，只要掌握了技巧，就能顺利通过考查。
口语考查中，应特别注意划分意群、语调和重读、说话时的时态、顺序、连贯和去口头禅。
2）听力：听力试题以句子为最小理解单位，考查学生的反映能力，理解能力和输出能力。
试题由易到难，层次分明，分别是听对话、听独白以及听取信息。
其中听取信息是难点，这一部分考查的是学生综合理解能力以及语言输出能力，需要学生在获取信息后准确无误的填写出来。
3）单项选择：中考试题中考查语法的重要板块，旨在考查学生在语境汇总运用语言知识的能力。
语法考查主要分为以下几部分：词法、句法、固定搭配以及交际用语。
根据近几年广州中考英语试题的单选部分来看，冠词、名词、代词、介词短语、非谓语动词、时态、宾语从句、定语从句和状语从句是重点考察对象，而其中非谓语动词和三大从句是难点。

细节题主要集中在数字或标志词等基本阅读攻略技巧上，而主旨大意题的解答技巧是要多关注文章的首句和末句。
另外，配对阅读也是中考的常考题型，这部分主要是会多出两个干扰选项，因此审题要认真仔细，不然就会被干扰项所误导而导致失分。
四、短文填空今年的短文填空不难，文章内容比较贴近生活，所以在了解文意方面对学生并不会造成障碍，而且几乎没有涉及到语法方面的知识，图片也很清晰，从图片和文章上下文的联系，不难写出正确答案。
五、读写综合这部分的内容非常贴近生活，以近年来中小学生溺水事故频发为主题展开讨论，谈论如何预防此类事故发生，如何适当施救等，并呼吁同学们热爱生命，注意安全。
学生在写作文时，除了紧贴文本之外，可适当展开想象，把文章写得饱满些。
总的来说，今年中考英语偏向基础，因此老师首先应该狠抓基础，扫清基础短语，识记词汇、短语、语法的基本用法，然后再逐渐升级语法难度，把知识运用到题目中去，回归真题，查漏补缺。

2016广州中考英语听说分值降至40分备考仍有不确定性

讨论多时的广州市中考英语改革终于尘埃落定。
9月14日，广州市招生考试委员会办公室正式发布《广州市初中毕业生学业考试英语听说考试题型方案》称，2016年起，初中毕业生学业考试(即“中考”)英语口语考试和听力考试将合并，实行英语听说考试。
“新的听说考试将会进一步拉大听力口语较佳的尖子生和其他学生的差距”，明师教育中考研究院英语科负责人向记者表示。
作为此次改革的重点，多位专家指出，考生备考关键在于针对听说合考这一新题型着手准备。
不过广东实验中学(以下简称“省实”)初中英语科组长梁幸老师告诉记者，虽然题型和分值已经确定，但由于最终样题仍未确定，考生后续备考仍“充满了不确定性”。
新“听说考试”分值降至40分
根据《方案》，此次改革的重点在于原本的口语考试和听力考试进行了合并，两者的总分值也从原来的50分下调到了40分。
新“听说考试”共三大题，包括模仿朗读、信息获取、信息转述及询问，考试时长约为20分钟。
而此前，听力和口语分开考试，分值分别为35分和15分，口语考试也一般在中考前一个月左右提前考试，分为朗读、情景应答、简短说话三道大题。
更为重要的是，“听说考试”提前在“纸笔考试”之前，采用计算机辅助考试(“人机对话”)方式进行。
按照《方案》规划，“听说考试”初步定于2016年5月进行。
笔试部分也相应发生变化，原笔试共五大题，满分135分，考试时长为120分钟；新笔试共四大题，包括语法选择、完形填空、阅读和写作，满分110分，考试时长为120分钟。
值得注意的是，此前有10分的语法单选题在2016年的英语考试中将彻底消失。
上述明师教育中考研究院英语科负责人指出，这道语法单选题是“历年中考平均分得分较高、难度较低的大题”。
此外，笔试部分还有少量变化，如阅读部分新增“阅读填空”题型、完形填空从原来的1分/题变为1.5分/题，单词拼写从原来的5题增加至6题等。
难度提升口语强有优势
尽管“听说”部分分值下调，但是整体难度却在上升。
分析指出，听说合考的新题型要求考生不仅具备良好的听力理解能力，在提取听力信息的同时，还要能够组织语言回答问题，“对考生的综合运用能力要求大大提高”。
