【教学意图】1.培养学生对重点词汇和句子的认读能力。

2.培养学生的听说能力,读写活动作为听说训练的补充,活动具有一定的灵活性。

【教具准备】1.教材相配套的教学录音带。

2.教学挂图。

3.火车模型或火车挂图。

【教学过程】Step 1.Warming-up教师和学生边说唱课本21页的童谣,边做TPR活动。

(设计说明:TPR活动可以促使学生快速集中注意力,并在活动中复习了动词的ing形式,很好地为本单元的学习做了铺垫。

这个环节要求动作与童谣同步,培养学生的快速反应能力,增强学习活动的趣味性和学生参与学习活动的积极性。

)Step 2 Presentation1.热身活动之后,教师取出准备好的火车模型或火车图片提问学生:“What is this ?”然后移动火车模型或图片问学生:“What is this train doing ?”学生可能现在不知道如何做答,教师此时告诉学生:“让我们一起走进课文,学习了课文之后你就知道该如何回答了。

”2.接下来教师用肢体语言把这一单元几个表示方位的词给学生用肢体语言表现出来,如:up (point upwards)down (point downwards)past (move your arm past the side of your body)stop (put your front as if to stop someone)3.教师和学生共同练习这几个方位词,老师说出一个,学生则以最快的速度做出相应的动作,如:T: DownS:(swing their arms)T: StopS:(put their doing ?”看图6提问:“Now, where is the girl ?”教师让同学们转动小脑瓜,思考一下,请一些同学说出他们心中的答案,教师给予帮助和指导。

5.教师请学生打开书,然后让学生边听录音边看书,同时用笔勾出课文中所有的“going”.教师再放一遍录音,学生边看边听,之后教师可以针对一些细节内容提问,让小组同学共同找出答案。
