Lesson 20:Where Did You Go?
1. Hi, Mum! We’re home!
Hi, Li Ming! Hi, Jenny! Did you have fun today?
Yes, we did!
Mrs. Smith: Where did you go today?
Jenny: This morning, we went to the store. We bought a pair of runners and a T-shirt for Li Ming. We bought some ping-pong balls, too.
Li Ming: This afternoon, we went to the gym with Danny. We played ping-pong. I taught Jenny to hit the ball! Danny wanted to hit the ball, too, but Danny hurt his hand.
Jenny: We played basketball, too. I taught Li Ming to throw and catch the ball. He is good basketball player!
Mrs. Smith: Did Danny learn to play basketball, too?
Li Ming: He wanted to learn, but he thought the ball was too heavy. He played basketball with a ping-pong ball!
