调节感受的英语作文

调节感受的英语作文

调节感受的英语作文英文回答:Adjusting emotions is an essential skill in life. It allows us to navigate through various situations and maintain a balanced state of mind. There are several waysto regulate emotions, and I will discuss a few of them.Firstly, engaging in physical activities can be a great way to regulate emotions. Exercise releases endorphins, which are known as the "feel-good" hormones. When we engage in activities such as running, swimming, or dancing, our bodies release these hormones, leading to a positive shiftin our emotions. For example, whenever I feel stressed or overwhelmed, I go for a run, and the physical exertionhelps me release any pent-up emotions and feel more relaxed.Another effective way to regulate emotions is through practicing mindfulness and meditation. By taking a few minutes each day to focus on the present moment and observeour thoughts and emotions without judgment, we can gain a better understanding of our feelings and learn to respondto them in a more constructive way. For instance, wheneverI feel anxious, I sit in a quiet place, close my eyes, and practice deep breathing exercises. This helps me calm my mind and regain control over my emotions. In addition, seeking support from others can also help us regulate our emotions. Talking to a trusted friend or family member about our feelings can provide us with afresh perspective and emotional support. Sometimes, simply venting our emotions and having someone listen can be incredibly therapeutic. For example, when I feel sad or disappointed, I often call my best friend and share my feelings with her. She listens attentively and offers comforting words, which helps me feel better and less alone.Furthermore, engaging in activities that bring us joy and happiness can have a positive impact on our emotional well-being. Whether it's pursuing a hobby, spending timewith loved ones, or indulging in a favorite pastime, doing things that bring us joy can uplift our spirits andregulate our emotions. For instance, I love playing the guitar, and whenever I feel down, I pick up my guitar and play my favorite songs. The act of playing music not only distracts me from negative emotions but also brings me a sense of fulfillment and happiness. In conclusion, adjusting emotions is a crucial skill that allows us to navigate through life's ups and downs. By engaging in physical activities, practicing mindfulness, seeking support, and pursuing activities that bring us joy, we can regulate our emotions effectively. It's important to remember that everyone is different, so finding what works best for us individually is key. By incorporating these strategies into our daily lives, we can maintain a balanced state of mind and improve our overall well-being.中文回答:调节情绪是生活中的一项重要技能。

介绍一种团队活动跳长绳分工英语作文

介绍一种团队活动跳长绳分工英语作文全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1A Jump into Teamwork: Experiencing Camaraderie Through Jump RopeAs students, we often find ourselves immersed in a world of academics, where the pursuit of knowledge takes center stage. However, it is in the realm of extracurricular activities that we truly discover the essence of teamwork and camaraderie. One such activity that has left an indelible mark on me is the art of jump rope, a seemingly simple yet profoundly engaging endeavor that has taught me invaluable lessons about the power of collaboration and the joy of shared accomplishments. It all began on a sunny afternoon when our physical education teacher announced the formation of jump rope teams. Initially, the idea seemed unconventional, and I must admit, I harbored some skepticism. How could something as mundane as jumping rope foster a sense of teamwork? Little did I know that this activity would unveil a world of possibilities, transcendingthe boundaries of mere physical exercise and delving into the realms of trust, coordination, and collective spirit. The first step in our journey was the formation of our team. We were a motley crew of individuals, each with our unique personalities and quirks, brought together by a common interest in this seemingly innocuous activity. As we gathered for our initial meeting, the air was thick with anticipation and a hint of nervousness. Would we be able to gel as a cohesive unit? Would our differences prove to be insurmountable obstacles? It was then that the true essence of teamwork began to unfold. Our coach, a seasoned veteran in the art of jump rope, assigned us specific roles within the team. Some of us were designated as "jumpers," tasked with executing intricate footwork and maintaining a steady rhythm. Others were bestowed the responsibility of "turners," their arms tirelessly propelling the ropes in graceful arcs. And then there were the "choreographers," the masterminds behind our routines, weaving together a tapestry of movements that would captivate our audience. At first, the division of labor seemed daunting. How could we possibly synchronize our efforts when our roles were so diverse? But as the days turned into weeks, and our practices becamemore frequent, something remarkable began to take shape. We learned to rely on one another, to trust in each other's abilities, and to appreciate the unique contributions that each member brought to the table. The jumpers, once clumsy and unsure, developed a newfound grace and agility, their feet executing intricate patterns with precision. The turners, initially struggling with the rhythm, found their groove, their arms moving in perfect harmony. And the choreographers, once overwhelmed by the task of crafting routines, began to tap into a wellspring of creativity, unveiling sequences that left us all in awe.But it was not just the physical aspect of our endeavor that fostered a sense of camaraderie; it was the shared experiences, the triumphs, and the setbacks that truly brought us together. There were moments of frustration, when a routine seemed impossible to master, and tempers flared. Yet, it was in those moments that we learned the true value of support and encouragement, as teammates rallied around one another, offering words of wisdom and unwavering belief. And then, there were the moments of pure elation, when a challenging sequence finally clicked, and our movements coalesced into a seamless display of grace and precision. Thecheers that erupted from our teammates, the high-fives exchanged, and the shared looks of pride and accomplishment –these were the moments that etched themselves into our memories, forging bonds that transcended the confines of our jump rope team.As the days turned into weeks, and our practices became more frequent, something remarkable began to take shape. The cheers that erupted from our teammates, the high-fives exchanged, and the shared looks of pride and accomplishment –these were the moments that etched themselves into our memories, forging bonds that transcended the confines of our jump rope team.As the weeks turned into months, our team grew stronger, our routines more intricate, and our bond deeper. We had transcended the boundaries of mere acquaintances and become a family, united by a shared passion and a commitment to excellence. The culmination of our efforts came when we were invited to participate in a prestigious jump rope competition, where teams from across the region would gather to showcase their skills. The anticipation was palpable, and the pressure was mounting, but we refused to let it consume us. Instead, we drew strength from one another, reminding ourselves of the countless hours ofpractice, the sweat and tears shed, and the unwavering support we had provided each other throughout our journey. As we took to the stage, our hearts pounding in unison, we knew that this moment was not merely about winning or losing; it was about celebrating the journey we had embarked upon together. With each intricate step, each synchronized turn of the rope, we poured our souls into the performance, channeling the camaraderie and the shared spirit that had brought us to this pivotal moment. When the final notes of the music faded, and the audience erupted into thunderous applause, we knew that we had accomplished something far greater than a mere competition victory. We had forged an unbreakable bond, a testament to the power of teamwork and the beauty of shared accomplishments. As I look back on that experience, I am filled with a profound sense of gratitude. Gratitude for the opportunity to be a part of something greater than myself, for the lessons learned about trust, coordination, and perseverance, and for the lifelong friendships that blossomed from our shared passion.Jump rope, a seemingly innocuous activity, became a catalyst for personal growth and the cultivation of invaluable life skills. It taught us the importance of embracing our individualstrengths while recognizing the value of collaboration. It instilled in us the resilience to overcome obstacles and the humility to acknowledge our weaknesses. And above all, it fostered a sense of camaraderie that transcended the boundaries of age, background, or personal beliefs, reminding us that true greatness is often achieved through the collective efforts of those who dare to dream together. As I look ahead to the future, I carry with me the lessons learned from this remarkable experience, ready to embrace new challenges and opportunities for teamwork. For in the end, it is not solely the trophies or the accolades that define us, but the bonds forged through shared struggles and triumphs, the memories etched into our hearts, and the unyielding spirit of unity that propels us forward, ever-striving to reach new heights together.篇2Jump Rope: A Choreographed Dance of Teamwork and CoordinationIf you walk by the school playground during recess, you'll often see groups of students huddled together, swinging long ropes in rhythmic arcs. It may just seem like simple jump rope, but look closer and you'll realize it's an intricate dance of teamwork, timing, and trust. That's because we're not just taking turns individually jumping – we're participating in an incredible team activity called "long rope."With long rope, anywhere from two to dozens of students collaborate to swing these massive ropes in opposite directions, creating an elliptical pathway for others to jump through. It requires flawless synchronization and a well-choreographed system of assigned roles to pull it off successfully. Let me give you a behind-the-scenes look at how we make it work. The RolesAt the core are the Rope Turners – typically two pairs of students positioned at opposite ends of the lengthy rope. Their sole responsibility is to swing the rope in a continuous arc, maintaining a steady rhythm and consistent speed. But it's far more challenging than just waving a rope around. The Turners have to be strong, with impressive stamina and concentration to avoid breaking the motion. Then we have the All-Important Rope Callers, entrusted with initiating the chants and cadences that keep everyone unified. With a booming voice and keen senseoftiming, these leaders holler out phrases like "Bunny hop!" or "Backscratcher!" whichsignal the jumpers to perform the corresponding trick amid the whirling ropes.Speaking of jumpers, we have the Starters who lead off each new sequence, fearlessly sprinting in to join the moving ropes. Their spatial awareness and split-second timing are crucial to avoid getting whipped. As more jumpers join behind the Starters, the jumper closest to the turners becomes the Anchor – stopping any runaway momentum by regulating the pace.Rounding out the squad are the Turners' Assistants, who relieve their partners when arms grow weary from the endless swinging. Even these supporting players require focus, ready to seamlessly take over without disrupting the flow.Strategies for Smooth OperationsWith all these roles in play, long rope is truly an exercise in orchestrated teamwork. We approach it with the discipline of a professional dance troupe, first meeting to map out our strategy before each session. We carefully select our turners, looking for the strongest, most reliable performers. Our rope callers are natural-born leaders with loud voices and the cadence to inspire everyone tomove in unison. The starters must be brave and have keen reaction timing to dodge incoming ropes.Once roles are assigned, we analyze the jump rope area, mapping out running paths, potential obstacles, and risk factors like tree roots or grates that could trip up jumpers. We plan intricate jump patterns to challenge ourselves, choreographing dazzling moves like the Double Egg Scrambler or Unicorn Switch.Of course, safety is paramount, so part of our strategy sessions involve reviewing proper jumping form and techniques to avoid injury, like the heel-toe landing or bringing knees up high to avoid whiplash-inducing rope strikes. The Mental ChallengeAs much as long rope requires physical skills, it's also an incredible brain workout in concentration and communication. When you're in the rhythm, zoning out for even a second could cause you to miss a critical jump cue or rope rotation – a mistake that could unravel the entire routine. That's why we channel intense focus, using篇3Jump Rope Mania: A Team Activity like No OtherAs students, we're always on the lookout for fun activities that bring us together and challenge us in new ways. That's why our class decided to organize a jump rope activity unlike any other. Little did we know, this simple idea would turn into a thrilling adventure filled with teamwork, dedication, and an unforgettable experience. It all started when our gym teacher, Mr. Jenkins, announced that we would be participating in a jump rope competition against other schools in the district. At first, we were a bit skeptical. Jump rope? Wasn't that something we did in elementary school? But Mr. Jenkins assured us that this wasn't your average jump rope session. It was a choreographed routine that required precision, coordination, and teamwork.Naturally, the first step was to form our team. We had a diverse group of students with varying skills and interests, but we all shared a common goal: to put on the best jump rope performance our school had ever seen. With that in mind, we divided ourselves into different roles based on our strengths. The Choreographers were the creative minds behind our routine. They spent countless hours watching jump rope videos, studying different techniques, and brainstorming unique moves.Their job was to craft a performance that would leave the judges in awe.Next, we had the Jump Masters. These were the students with the strongest stamina and agility. They would be responsible for executing the most complex moves and setting the pace for the rest of the team. Their dedication to practicing day and night was truly inspiring.Of course, no team is complete without a support system. That's where the Motivators came in. Their role was to keep our spirits high, even when the practices got intense. They cheered us on, cracked jokes, and reminded us why we were doing this in the first place: to have fun and make memories together. As the weeks went by, our team came together like awell-oiled machine. We practiced in the gym, on the playground, and even in the hallways during lunch breaks. There were stumbles, trips, and plenty of laughs, but we never lost sight of our goal. Finally, the day of the competition arrived. We were a bundle of nerves, but as soon as we stepped onto the stage, something magical happened. All our hard work and dedication paid off as we executed our routine flawlessly. The crowd erupted in cheers, and we could feel the energy coursing through our veins. When the results were announced, we didn't even care about winning or losing. We had already won in our hearts, having forged unbreakable bonds and created memories that would last a lifetime.Looking back, our jump rope experience taught us valuable lessons that extended far beyond the court. We learned the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and believing in ourselves. We discovered that with the right mindset and support system, we could accomplish anything we set our minds to.But most importantly, we had a blast! Jump rope might have started as a simple childhood activity, but for us, it became a testament to the power of unity and the joy that comes from trying something new.So, if you ever get the chance to participate in a team activity like this, don't hesitate. Embrace the challenge, lean on your teammates, and prepare for an adventure that will leave you with unforgettable memories and invaluable life lessons.。

和朋友坐地铁的英语作文Riding the Subway with FriendsAs the bustling city streets passed by the subway windows, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. The rhythmic clacking of the train on the tracks and the muffled conversations of my fellow passengers created a lively atmosphere that was both energizing and comforting. This was my favorite part of the day - the time I spent commuting to meet up with my closest friends. We had been planning this outing for weeks, eagerly anticipating the opportunity to catch up and explore a new part of the city together. As the train pulled into the station, I spotted their familiar faces in the crowd, and a wide smile spread across my face. With a quick wave, I made my way through the throng of people, weaving my way towards them."Hey, you made it!" my friend Emily exclaimed, pulling me into a warm hug. "We were starting to think you'd gotten lost."I laughed and shook my head. "Not a chance. You know I wouldn't miss this for the world."The four of us - Emily, her boyfriend, Jake, our mutual friend, Liam, and myself - made our way through the bustling station, navigating the maze of hallways and staircases with practiced ease. As we descended deeper underground, the air grew slightly more stale and the noise level increased, but the energy was palpable. This was the heartbeat of the city, a constant flow of people from all walks of life converging in this subterranean transportation hub."So, where are we headed first?" Liam asked, his eyes shining with excitement."I was thinking we could grab some lunch at that new Vietnamese place downtown," Emily suggested. "I heard they have the best pho in the city."We all eagerly agreed, our stomachs rumbling in anticipation. As the train pulled into the station, we quickly found seats and settled in for the short ride. The subway car was surprisingly spacious, with ample room for us to sit comfortably and chat."Did you all catch the game last night?" Jake asked, leaning forward in his seat."Yeah, it was a nail-biter, wasn't it?" Liam replied, launching into a detailed analysis of the team's performance. The rest of us chimed in with our own thoughts and opinions, our voices mingling with the ambient noise of the subway. As the train hurtled through the tunnels, the city skyline visible through the windows, I couldn't help but feel a sense of camaraderie and belonging. These were my people, my tribe, and there was something special about sharing this experience with them. When we finally arrived at our stop, we spilled out onto the platform, our laughter and chatter adding to the cacophony of the station. We made our way up the stairs and out into the bustling city streets, the warm afternoon sun casting a golden glow over the buildings and pedestrians."Alright, let's go find this pho place," Emily said, leading the way down the crowded sidewalk. We followed close behind, our arms brushing against each other as we navigated the throngs of people. The smells of the city wafted through the air - exhaust fumes, freshly baked bread, and the tantalizing aroma of the Vietnamese cuisine we were about to enjoy. As we stepped into the cozy restaurant, the warmth and fragrance ofthe spices immediately enveloped us. We were greeted by a friendly host who quickly ushered us to a table in the corner, where we could sit and catch up in relative peace and quiet. The conversation flowed effortlessly as we sipped our steaming bowls of pho, each of us savoring the complex flavors and the comforting warmth of the broth. We shared stories of our recent adventures, our laughter and animated gestures drawing occasional glances from the other diners."I can't believe it's been so long since we've all gotten together like this," Liam said, shaking his head with a wistful smile."I know, right?" Emily replied, reaching across the table to give his hand a gentle squeeze. "We need to do this more often."We all nodded in agreement, our hearts swelling with a sense of gratitude and appreciation for the bonds we shared. These were the moments that made life truly rich and meaningful - the times when we could set aside our individual worries and responsibilities and simply be present with one another. As we finished our meal and stepped back out into the bustling city streets, the energy of the subway station felt even more vibrant and alive. We navigated the crowds with ease, our steps synchronized aswe made our way to our next destination."So, where to next?" Jake asked, his eyes sparkling with excitement."How about we check out that new art exhibit downtown?" I suggested. "I heard it's got some really cool interactive installations."The others readily agreed, and we set off, our laughter and chatter echoing through the streets as we made our way to the subway station once more. The familiar rhythmic clacking of the train on the tracks and the muffled conversations of the passengers surrounded us, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment and belonging. In that moment, I realized that the true magic of the subway wasn't just in the destination, but in the journey itself. It was in the shared experiences, the laughter, and the camaraderie that made these outings with my friends so special. Whether we were riding the rails or exploring the city streets, we were in this together, and that was what truly mattered. As the train pulled into the station and we stepped out onto the platform, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement for the adventures that lay ahead. With my friends by my side, I knew thatno matter where the subway took us, it would be a journey worth taking.。

妈妈我想买一个滑板车英语作文对话

妈妈我想买一个滑板车英语作文对话全文共3篇示例,供读者参考篇1Mom, Can I Buy a Skateboard?Mom: Good morning, honey. You're up early on a Saturday!Me: Morning, Mom. Yeah, I've been thinking about something and wanted to talk to you about it.Mom: Sure, what's on your mind?Me: Well, you know how I've been really into skateboarding lately? A bunch of my friends have skateboards and they've been teaching me some tricks at the park.Mom: I've noticed you've been spending a lot of time at the skate park, yes. Getting good exercise at least!Me: Exactly! And it's just been so much fun learning a new skill. The thing is, I've been borrowing Joe's old skateboard since he upgraded to a new one. But it's pretty beat up and the wheels are super rocky.Mom: I see where this is going...you want to get your own skateboard?Me: Yes, please! If it's not too much to ask. I've been doing some research and there are some really cool beginner setups that wouldn't cost too much.Mom: Let's talk budget. How much are you thinking?Me: Well, for a complete setup with the board, wheels, trucks, and hardware, I'm probably looking at around 100-150 for a decent quality one to start with. I've been saving my allowance though, so I can cover part of the cost!Mom: That's not bad pricing actually. But skateboards mean safety gear too - have you factored that in?Me: You're absolutely right, that's so important. A helmet would be another 30-50, and I'll need pads for my knees, elbows, and wrists which could be like 25 each.Mom: Okay, so we're looking at closer to 250 or so all-in, from your estimates. Is this just a passing phase or do you really think you'll stick with skateboarding?Me: I totally get why you'd wonder about that. But I can say with complete certainty that this isn't just a fleeting interest for me. Ever since I started learning, I've been absolutely hooked! It's challenging in an awesome way and so satisfying when I finally nail a new trick after practice.Mom: That's great to hear you're so passionate about it. I don't mind investing in a hobby you really care about. Before we go spending all that money though, I want to go over some expectations.Me: Totally fair, I'm all ears!Mom: First off, your skateboard cannot take priority over your schoolwork. If I start seeing grades slipping, we'll have to re-evaluate how much free time you have.Me: That's a reasonable rule. I'll make sure to keep my homework and studies as my top priority still. My grades actually haven't been too bad lately!Mom: True, you have been doing better. Which leads me to my next point - skateboarding can be dangerous. If you get this skateboard, I'll need your honest promise that you'll wear all the proper safety gear 100% of the time. No exceptions.Me: Yes, I completely understand and agree. I don't want to get seriously injured either. Head trauma is no joke. I'll never skateboard without a helmet, pads for my knees/elbows, and wrist guards.Mom: Those ankle injuries worry me too... Maybe we can look into getting you some supportive skate shoes as well to protect your feet and ankles?Me: Good call, Mom. Having the right shoes is really important for support and traction. I can look at adding those to my setup too.Mom: One last thing - and this is non-negotiable. Under no circumstances are you allowed to skateboard in areas with vehicular traffic. I won't be able to sleep worrying about you getting hit by a car. You can only use it at the skate park or in our neighborhood cul-de-sac where there are no through streets. Deal?Me: I can definitely agree to those terms. The skate park is built for skateboarding anyway, so that makes total sense. No skateboarding anywhere near roads or vehicles, got it!Mom: Well, it sounds like you've really thought this through. And I appreciate your maturity about understanding the need for safety. If you can keep up your grades and responsibilities around the house, I don't have an issue helping invest in a good quality skateboarding setup for you.Me: Thank you so much, Mom You're the absolute best. I promise I'll take really good care of the gear and be super safe and responsible about skating. This is so awesome, I'm so stoked to get started!Mom: You're very welcome, sweetie. Just seeing how excited you are makes me happy to support this new hobby and passion of yours. Why don't we look at ordering some stuff online later today?Me: Absolutely, let's do it! I'll put together my top picks for boards, safety gear, everything and we can go over it together. This is going to be epic! Thanks again, I love you!Mom: I love you too! Now go get ready for the day - maybe we can start looking into this after breakfast?Me: You got it, I'll be ready in 20! Can't wait!篇2Mom, Can I Buy a Skateboard?Me: Mom, can I talk to you for a minute?Mom: Sure, honey. What's on your mind?Me: Well, you know how I've been saving up my allowance for a while? I was wondering if I could use the money to buy a skateboard.Mom: A skateboard? I'm not sure that's such a good idea. Those things can be really dangerous.Me: But Mom, all the cool kids at school have skateboards! It's not just a toy – it's a way to get exercise and hang out with friends.Mom: I understand that you want to fit in with your friends, but I'm worried about you getting hurt. Skateboarding can lead to serious injuries if you're not careful.Me: I promise I'll be super careful! And I'll wear all the protective gear – a helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, the works. Plus, there's this really cool skate park near the school where everyone goes to practice tricks and stuff.Mom: A skate park? That sounds even more dangerous! What if you fall and break something?Me: Mom, people fall all the time when they're learning to skateboard. That's why it's important to wear protection and take it slow at first. I'm not going to try any crazy tricks until I've got the basics down.Mom: I don't know... It just seems like an unnecessary risk. Why can't you stick to safer activities, like riding your bike or playing basketball?Me: But skateboarding is so much cooler than that! It's not just a sport – it's a whole culture and lifestyle. And it's a great way to meet new people and make friends.Mom: I understand that you think it's cool, but your safety is my top priority. What if you get seriously injured and end up in the hospital?Me: Mom, I promise I'll be really, really careful. And skateboarding is no more dangerous than other extreme sports that kids do, like BMX biking or parkour. You just have to take the proper precautions.Mom: Those other sports sound just as dangerous! I don't want you taking unnecessary risks just to fit in with a certain crowd.Me: It's not just about fitting in, though. Skateboarding is something I'm really passionate about. I've been watching tutorials and reading up on it for months. I know all the safety tips and tricks, and I'm ready to start practicing.Mom: Well, I appreciate that you've done your research, but I'm still not convinced. Skateboarding just seems too risky for my liking.Me: But Mom, you always taught me to follow my dreams and pursue my passions. This is something I really want to do, and I'm willing to take all the necessary precautions to stay safe.Mom:sighsI know, I know. It's just hard for me to see you put yourself in harm's way, even if you promise to be careful.Me: What if we compromise? I'll buy the skateboard with my own money, and in return, I promise to always wear protective gear, start off slow, and stick to beginner areas until I've really mastered the basics.Mom: Hmm, I suppose that could work. But at the first sign of any reckless behavior or serious injury, we're putting an end to this skateboarding business. Deal?Me: Deal! Thank you so much, Mom. You're the best! I promise I'll be super responsible and safe.Mom: Alright, alright. Just be careful out there, okay? And remember, if you ever feel like it's getting too dangerous or overwhelming, you can always stop.Me: I will, I promise. Thanks again for understanding. I'm going to be the coolest, safest skateboarder ever!Mom:chucklesWe'll see about that. Just don't come crying to me when you fall on your behind a few times.Me: Hey, even the pros fall sometimes! It's all part of the learning process.Mom: I suppose you're right. Well, good luck with your new hobby, sweetie. And remember, I'm here if you need anything or have any second thoughts.Me: Thanks, Mom. You're the greatest!hugs MomI'm going to go research skateboards online right now!篇3Mom, Can We Talk?Mom: Sure honey, what's on your mind?Me: Well, I've been thinking a lot lately about getting a skateboard. All my friends have one and they seem like so much fun to ride around on.Mom: A skateboard? I'm not sure that's such a good idea. They seem quite dangerous.Me: But Mom, I'll be really careful! I've been watching tons of skateboarding videos online and reading up on safety tips. I know I need to wear a helmet and pads at all times.Mom: Even with all that protective gear, there's still a high risk of getting injured. Skateboards have those tiny little wheels - it wouldn't take much for you to hit a pebble and go flying off.Me: I understand your concern, but lots of kids skateboard safely. It's a great way to get exercise and fresh air. And I'm a pretty coordinated kid - remember how quickly I picked up riding a bike?Mom: Yes, but a skateboard is quite different from a bicycle. On a bike, you're higher up and have better stability.Me: That's true, but skateboarders get really good at balancing and maneuvering their boards through practice.Remember my friend Jake? He's been skating for years and is amazing at it. He can do all kinds of tricks!Mom: While I admire Jake's skills, I worry that seeing him do those daring stunts might encourage you to take unnecessary risks before you've mastered the basics.Me: You don't have to worry, Mom. I'm not interested in doing crazy tricks, at least not at first. I just want to cruise around our neighborhood and get a feel for skateboarding. Maybe eventually I'll work my way up to some simple tricks, but only once I've become really proficient.Mom: I appreciate that you have the best intentions, but children often get overconfident in their abilities before they're truly ready. Skateboarding injuries can be quite severe - broken bones, head trauma, road rash. As your mother, I have to put your safety first.Me: But isn't there a risk in any sport or physical activity? You let me play soccer and go rock climbing. Skateboarding is no more dangerous than those when you take the proper precautions.Mom: Those other activities have coaching staff on hand to ensure everyone's safety. With skateboarding, you'd essentially be teaching yourself through trial and error. That worries me.Me: What if I take a skateboarding class first? There are actually youth instructors in our community who could show me the fundamentals in a controlled environment. Once I've built up my skills, I could ride more independently.Mom: Hmm, now that's an idea I could get behind. Proper instruction from a qualified teacher would put my mind more at ease. Have you looked into the costs for classes and equipment?Me: Yes, I've researched everything! The beginner classes are really affordable, just 60 for an 8-week course. And there are Package deals where you can get a complete skateboard setup for around 100.Mom: I have to admit, you've clearly put a lot of thought into this. Your preparation definitely shows you're taking safety seriously.Me: Exactly! I'm not just rushing into this. Skateboarding means a lot to me - it combines fun, exercise, and chances to hangout with my friends. But I know it requires learning propertechniques first. Please let me try, Mom? I promise to be responsible about it.Mom:sighsYou've made a very convincing case, I'll give you that. As long as you stick to lessons with an instructor initially and always wear all the recommended protective gear, I don't see why we can't let you pursue this. But at the first sign of recklessness, we'll have to reconsider.Me: Thank you, thank you, Mom! You're the best! I swear I'll take it slow and prioritize safety every single time. You won't regret letting me do this. I'm so excited - this is going to be awesome!Mom:chucklesAlright, rein in that enthusiasm just a bit. Why don't we go browse for your gear this weekend? Just promise me you'll still make time for your schoolwork.Me: Of course! Don't worry, school always comes first. But in my free time, I'll be shredding up a storm!Mom: We'll see about that, young skater. For now, let's just focus on finding you some top-notch safety equipment. Maybe don't get ahead of yourself on those tricks just yet!Me: You got it, Mom. Baby steps - I've got to learn how to stop and turn properly before anything else. But this is such an amazing first step. Thank you again for understanding!。

英语大作文描写情绪句子摘抄大全全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My Book of FeelingsHi there! My name is Emma and I'm 9 years old. Today, I want to share with you my book all about feelings and emotions. Grown-ups say I'm an "emotionally intelligent" kid because I can express how I feel really well. I've collected lots of phrases that describe different emotions over the years. Let me show you! When I'm really, really happy, I say things like "I'm on cloud nine!" or "I'm over the moon!" Being joyful feels like a million butterflies are fluttering around in my tummy. Sometimes I get so excited that I can't stop smiling from ear to ear. I jump up and down squealing "Yay! Hooray!" When something awesome happens, I throw my arms up and yell "Yes! I nailed it!"But other times, I feel the opposite - I feel sad and gloomy. When I'm feeling down in the dumps, I might sniffle "I'm blue" or pout "I'm crying a river." If I'm really upset, I'll wail "My heart is broken!" and teardrops will roll down my cheeks. I get a lump inmy throat and my eyes get all puffy and red from weepy. It's no fun feeling miserable like that.Anger is another strong feeling I get sometimes, like when my little brother ruins my things. I'll fume "I'm so mad, I'm seeing red!" or shout "You're really getting on my last nerve!" When I'm raging, I ball up my fists, stomp my feet, and yell "Arrgghh!" It feels like a volcano erupting inside me. I have to calm down by taking deep breaths.Unfortunately, I also know what it's like to feel afraid. Like when there's a thunderstorm at night and I quiver "I'm scared stiff." The hairs on my arms will stand up and I'll shudder "You're giving me goosebumps!" If something really terrifies me, I'll shriek "Help, I'm being scared out of my wits!" My heart pounds and I get butterflies in my tummy, but not the fun, excited kind. When I'm feeling nervous about something, like the first day of school, I'll say "I have butterflies in my stomach." My palms get all sweaty and I stumble over my words, stuttering "I'ms-s-so n-nervous!" Sometimes if I'm really anxious, I'll blurt out "I'm a bundle of nerves!" and my whole body shakes like a jackhammer. But you know what really bites? When I'm feeling bored out of my skull. I'll roll my eyes and whine in a monotone voice "I'msooooo bored." I'll slouch in my chair and fidget, tapping my pencil impatiently. If I'm really, really bored, I might groan loudly "This is excruciatingly dull!" and let my head plonk down on the table. Boredom is the worst! Then there are times when I'm just feeling blah and unmotivated. I'll mumble "I'm in a funk" or "I'm feeling meh." On those kinda mopey days, I can't seem to get excited about anything. I'll lay on the couch and sigh "I'm feeling blasé" while flipping through channels. Sometimes I'm so sluggish that I'll admit "I'm dragging today" and barely have enough energy to get off the couch.Occasionally, I'll get in a mood where I'm feeling shy or bashful. Like if I have to go up and talk in front of my class. My face will turn beet red and I'll squeak "I'm feeling flustered!" While everyone's eyes are on me, I'll duck my head and murmur "I'm so sheepish right now." It's a vulnerable, fragile feeling. But then there are other times when I'm feeling the total opposite - I'm overflowing with confidence! I'll march right up and introduce myself loud and proud, saying "Hi, I'm Emma and I'm not afraid of anything!" When I'm feeling brave, I'll puff out my chest and boldly declare "Nothing can hold me back!" It's an self-assured, powerful feeling. If I've accomplished something cool, I'll boast "I'm on top of the world!" Feeling proud makes me want to smile really big and strike a victorious pose. I might brag "I'm the champ!" while doing a little happy dance. Sometimes I get so cocky that I'll smirk "I'm too good" and act all snobby and superior. Luckily, I don't feel that way too often!Whew, that's a lot of feeling words! As you can see, I experience such a wide range of emotions as a kid. From feeling lonesome and left out, to feeling overjoyed and giddy. From being tense and ill-at-ease, to feeling daring and gutsy. Some days I'm hyper and bouncing off the walls, while other days I'm gloomy and low-spirited.No matter what I'm feeling though, it's important to have words to describe it. That's why I love my book of feelings phrases - it helps me understand myself better. I hope sharing my treasury of emotional words helped you get in touch with your feelings too! Learning to express ourselves is a lifelong journey, but one that's absolutely worth it. Thanks for reading!篇2Feeling All the FeelsLife is full of so many different emotions! Sometimes they come one after another really fast, and other times the same feeling sticks around for a while. I've felt them all - happiness, sadness, anger, fear, and everything in between. Let me tell you about some of the most intense emotions I've experienced.Happiness is definitely one of the best feelings. When I'm really happy, it feels like a million butterflies are fluttering around in my belly. My heart feels like it's soaring and I can't stop smiling from ear to ear. Everything around me seems brighter and more vibrant. I feel light as a feather, like I could just float away. Pure joy courses through my veins. I get super hyper and energetic and want to jump up and down. That bubbly, giddy feeling of happiness is absolutely amazing! I always aim to spread that joy to others around me when I'm that happy. On the flip side, sadness feels totally different. It's like a heavy weight is pressing down on my entire body. My heart feels achy, like someone is squeezing it tightly. I feel hollowed out and empty inside. Sudden waves of emotion crash over me, making my throat tighten and my eyes well up with tears that I can't hold back no matter how hard I try. Sadness makes me want to curl up in a ball under my covers and shut out the whole world. It's an incredibly lonely feeling, even when I'm surrounded by peoplewho care about me. Everything loses its color when I'm extremely sad.Anger is another intense emotion that I've battled with. It's like a raging fire burning inside my chest. My face feels flushed and hot. My hands clench into tights fists all on their own, and I grit my teeth together. I get an overwhelming urge to yell, stomp, or throw things. It feels like at any moment, I could just explode from bottling up so much fiery frustration. I see red and have trouble thinking clearly or controlling myself when I'm really angry. I pretty much become a tornado of fury spinning out of control until I eventually calm down.Fear has to be one of the most unbearable feelings of all. It's paralyzing, like all my muscles tense up and refuse to listen to my brain. My heart races at a million miles per minute, pounding so hard I can feel it in my throat. Drops of sweat form on my forehead and palms as my body goes into panic mode. All my senses feel heightened, making every little sound or movement set me more on edge. I get light-headed and dizzy from holding my breath without realizing it. There's an icy chill that runs through my veins during times of extreme fear or panic. It's a terrifying state to be in.While all these emotions can be intense and overwhelming at times, I'm learning healthier ways to understand and cope with them as I get older. I don't have to let my feelings control me. With practice, I can control my emotions instead. I'm grateful to experience the whole range of emotions that make me human, even the not-so-pleasant ones. They're all part of the wonderful roller coaster of life.篇3My Feelings in WordsEmotions are such a big part of being a kid. One minute you're super excited, and the next you're mad or sad for no reason at all. It's hard to put those feelings into words sometimes, but I'm going to try my best! When I wake up on a Saturday morning feeling happy and refreshed, these are the words that come to my mind:"Yippee, no school today!""This is going to be the best day ever!""I can't wait to play outside and ride my bike.""Everything is so awesome!"That bubbly, cheery feeling doesn't last too long though. As soon as my little brother starts bugging me or my mom tells me to clean my room, the joy quickly turns to annoyance:"Oh brother, not again.""Why does he have to be so annoying?""This totally stinks!""I don't want to clean, it's so boring."Those complaints and grumpy words lead right into full-on anger if I don't get my way:"That's not fair!""You never let me do anything fun!""I hate this stupid rule!""Leave me alone, I'm so mad!"I have to be careful with my temper though, because throwing tantrums just gets me in more trouble. Then the angry words become apologetic:"I'm really sorry I yelled.""I didn't mean to be disrespectful.""Please forgive me, I was just upset.""I'll do better next time, I promise."After I've calmed down, I usually start feeling kind of sad or disappointed in myself. The words turn melancholy:"Why did I have to ruin everything?""I feel so bad about how I acted.""Nobody understands how I'm feeling.""I just want to be alone for a while."Thankfully, those gloomy emotions never last too long for me. My mom's good at cheering me up, or I'll go out and play with my friends. Then the hopeful, joyful words come back:"This day is looking up!""I'm so lucky to have such a nice family.""My friends always know how to make me smile.""Maybe tomorrow will be better.""Ow, that smarts!"""No need to cry, I'm tough.""Just walk it off, you'll be okay.""Mind over matter, I can handle this."When it's time for bed, I'm always tired but struggle to settle down. The impatient words come out:"Five more minutes, please?""Why do I have to go to bed so early?""But I'm not sleepy at all!""Tomorrow seems so far away."Eventually though, my eyes get heavy and the drowsy words start:"Maybe I am a little tired...""Snuggling up in my covers feels nice.""This pillow is just so cozy.""Time to drift off to dreamland."Those are just some of the words I use to express how I'm feeling throughout a typical day. As you can see, my emotions are all over the place! From utter excitement and joy to frustration and sadness then back to cheer and contentment again.Being a kid isn't easy - we have so many big feelings rushing through our little bodies. It's a rollercoaster! But I'm learning more and more words to convey what's going on inside. Maybe I'll be a poet or songwriter someday. For now, I'll just keep writing down all my feelings, one sentence at a time. It really helps me understand myself better. Plus, I'll have an awesome collection of emotional vocabulary I can look back on when I'm older!篇4Feeling All the FeelsHi there! My name is Jamie and I'm a 4th grader. Today I want to talk to you about all the different feelings we can have and how to describe them. Feelings are a huge part of being human and sometimes they can be really intense! When I'm really happy, I feel like I'm floating on a cloud. My heart feels warm and fuzzy, and I can't stop smiling. Like when I got a brand new bike for my birthday - I was over the moon with joy! I might say "I'm on cloud nine" or "I'm beaming with happiness."On the flip side, sometimes I get really sad. When I'm feeling down in the dumps, it feels like a dark rain cloud is following me everywhere. My eyes might get puffy from crying and I don't feel like doing anything fun. I'll say things like "I'm feeling blue" or "I have a lump in my throat."Anger is another biggie for me. When I'm mad, I feel like a volcano that's about to erupt! My face gets hot, I clench my fists, and I just want to yell or stomp around. I'll shout "I'm furious!" or "You're really getting on my last nerve!" Luckily the anger usually passes pretty quickly. There are so many other emotions too! Sometimes I'm nervous or scared, with butterflies fluttering in my stomach. Other times I'm bored out of my mind and slowly goingstir-crazy. And occasionally I'm bursting with pride over an accomplishment.I have a few favorite emotional expressions too. "You're barking up the wrong tree" when someone is totally misunderstanding me. "Don't have a cow" when my friend is overreacting about something small. And "read between the lines" when there are hidden feelings behind what someone is saying. This year in school we're learning how to better express our emotions in a healthy way. It's super important to get those feelings out there rather than bottling them up inside. Here are some of my top tips:Use "I" statements to own your emotions, like "I feel frustrated when you don't listen to me."If you're upset, take a few deep breaths before reacting.Write in a journal about how you're feeling - it really helps get it all out!Talk to a friend, family member or trusted adult about what's going on.Do an activity you enjoy to blow off steam, like playing sports or drawing.Remember that emotions are temporary and this feeling won't last forever.Whew, that's a lot of heavy stuff for a 4th grader! But I really believe it's important to start learning about emotions at a young age. The more we can understand and express our feelings, the easier it is to work through them.Let me give you an example of how I deal with frustration. Last week, I was having the hardest time with my math homework. I struggled and struggled, erasing mistake after mistake, until finally I just broke down crying. I felt so dumb and incapable. That's when I decided to take a break, have a snack, and come back to it later with fresh eyes. I talked to my mom about how overwhelmed I felt. After a good night's sleep, I asked my teacher for extra help and was able to figure it out.See, even as a kid, I experience such intense emotions at times! But I'm learning strategies to cope with them. I don't have to act on every impulse or outburst. Taking a pause, talking it out, and looking at the bigger picture really helps me get through it.Emotions are what make us human. They add color, excitement and depth to our lives and experiences. Sure, they can sometimes be big, scary and overwhelming. But if we can recognize them, express them, and work through them in a healthy way, they make us so much richer as people. Never be afraid to feel your feels!篇5Feeling All the FeelsHey there! My name is Jamie and I'm a 4th grader. Today I want to tell you all about emotional sentences. What are those? They're sentences that describe feelings and emotions. Pretty neat, huh?You know when you're really, really happy about something? Like when it's your birthday and you get that super cool present you wanted? That's an emotional sentence! You might say "I feel so excited, I can barely contain my joy!" See how it tells exactly how you're feeling on the inside?Or what about when you're sad? Maybe your pet goldfish died or your best friend moved away. Then you'd say something like "My heart is heavy with sadness." That emotional sentence lets everyone know your emotion is weighing you down.Anger is another big feeling kids our age get sometimes. When your little brother breaks your favorite toy, you might yell "I'm fuming with rage!" That's an emotional sentence screaming out how mad you are.But emotions can also be more subtle. Like if you're feeling nervous before your spelling bee, you could say "My stomach is twisted in knots of anxiety." See how it uses a metaphor to capture that antsy, worried feeling? Here are some more examples of emotional sentences I've collected:"Waves of relief washed over me when I found my lost kitten.""Fear gripped my heart when the thunder crashed outside.""Bitter disappointment stung me after I failed the math test.""Unbridled excitement bubbled up inside me as we pulled into Disneyland."Using descriptive words like that makes the emotions way more vivid and easy to picture, doesn't it? It's almost like the sentence gives you a window into how the person is feeling.Hmm, now that I think about it, I've felt a lot of emotions just today! This morning I woke up "filled with groggy tiredness." Then when my mom made my favorite pancakes, "giddy delight danced across my face." Walking to school, I "beamed with pride" thinking about my perfect spelling test. But during math class, "frustration clouded my mind" when I couldn't solve that crazy long division problem. At lunch, my banana "tasted like pure bliss" because I was so hungry. But then Chad made fun of my new haircut, so "a wave of hurt and embarrassment crashed over me." I pushed it asideby reminding myself "confidence glowed from within." During reading time, I was "utterly absorbed" in my book about a kid making their own robot! Pretty cool, right?Whew, just reliving those emotional sentences makes me realize how many feelings we can have in a single day! The emotional words make it easy to understand and almost feel the emotions myself.I could keep going with tons more examples, but I think you get the idea. Using descriptive emotional sentences is a great way to let people know exactly how you're feeling on the inside. Rather than just saying "I'm happy" or "I'm sad," you can paint a vivid picture with your words. Give it a try next time you want to express an emotion!Well, that's all I've got for you today. Feelin' a bit "drowsy but content" after writing this essay. Don't be afraid to use those emotional sentences! It'll make your writing way more powerful and meaningful. Catch ya later!篇6Feeling All the FeelsHey there! I'm just a kid, but I've got a lot of feelings inside. Sometimes they're bouncing around like a juggler trying to keep all the balls in the air. Other times they're as quiet as a mouse tiptoeing across the floor. But no matter what, I've got a whole mess of emotions going on!I'll start with the happy ones, because those are my favorites. When I'm really joyful, it feels like a million butterflies are fluttering around in my tummy. Like the time I got a puppy for my birthday - I thought my smile was going to split my face in two! That giddy, giggly feeling is the best. Then there's the times I feel proud, like when I scored the winning goal at my soccer game. I felt ten feet tall and wanted to shout "I'm the champ!" from the rooftops. Pride makes me walk with a little extra spring in my step. But enough about the good vibes. The sad feelings are a whole different beast. They feel heavy, like someone parked a truck on my chest. When I'm truly down in the dumps, even smiling seems impossible. The waterworks start flowing and I just want to curl up in a ball under my covers.Loneliness is another tough one. It's that hollow, empty sensation, like the last kid getting picked for dodgeball. I'll lookaround and everyone else seems to be having fun without me. Those feelings of being alone and left out really sting. Then there's fear - the terrifying kind that makes my heart feel like it's trying to jump out of my chest. Like the time I got lost at the grocery store and couldn't find my mom. I felt so small and scared, frantically searching each aisle. Fear is gasping for air while panic tightens its grip.Anger is the emotion that makes me feel like a shook-up soda can ready to explode. My face gets hot, my jaw clenches, and I'm ready to let that mad energy erupt out of me. Stomping, screaming, throwing a tantrum - that's what rage feels like for me.But the worst feeling of all has to be anxiety. It's a constant knot in my stomach, waiting for something bad to happen. My mind starts going a million miles a minute with worries and "what ifs." Anxiety makes my palms get sweaty and my thoughts feel tangled up in knots. I overthink every little thing when I'm feeling anxious.I know I'm just a kid, but I've already felt the whole range of emotions that come along with being human. The highs, lows, and everything in between. These are just some of the emotional sentences that I feel deep down in my heart and gut. Who knowswhat other feels are still to come as I keep growing up? For now, I'm just along for the ride on this rollercoaster of emotion.。

• Fineman (1996) argued that organisations have been characterised by mechanistic approaches, emphasising technical efficiency. • Derives from the writings of Frederick Taylor (1911), the „father of scientific management‟. • The machinelike quality of the work environment was extayed emotions in conflict
• Happiness may be displayed as felt or with less intensity • Sadness/anger not displayed or with less intensity • Disgust and fear rarely displayed • Fear, anxiety & frustration can manifest in aggression or withdrawal – NVC
A rise in the interest of emotions at work
From the 1990s a scholarly interest around the role of emotions in org. contexts emerged and a questioning about the notion of the purely rational organisation (Sieben & Wettergren 2010). Emotions have been considered from multidisciplinary perspectives (Hatzinikolakis & Crossman
• Expressions of emotion have been viewed as legitimate in the domestic domain but an anathema in the workplace (James 1992). • Organisational emotions are consistently devalued and marginalized while rationality is privileged as an ideal for effective organisational life (Putman & Mumby 1993)
(Amanatullah, Morris & Curhan 2008 Diefendorff & Greguras 2009; Druckman & Olekalns 2008, p.2-3; Jameson, Bodtker and Jones 2006, p. 200; Lieberman 2006).

Emotions as cause and result of conflict
• Sometimes emotional needs for love, comfort, acknowledgment and acceptance can give rise to conflict. • Other emotions can also arise from the experience of conflict (anger, fear, humiliation, anxiety…). Discuss with others any examples from your own experience of how emotions caused or resulted from conflict?
People who feel unfairly attacked & misunderstood may be overcome with emotion and respond with hostility and aggression (James
(Guerrero & Valley 2006, p. 75; Lieberman 2006).
• Out of control emotions include; temper tantrums, coldness, the silent treatment and hurtful words (Brandon & Roberston 2007).
The historical context
• Organisations traditionally focussed on rationality that discouraged emotions (Crossman 2007). • Darwin‟s (1872) seminal work on emotions as something less than rational (Ashforth & Humphrey
• Since the display of authentic emotions is discouraged at work, employees may conceal how they feel. • People in conflict sometimes rely on logic to mask their emotions when they feel emotionally vulnerability (Fisher &
2010).
Scholars have also begun to acknowledge that in addition to instrumental goals and rational interests, people have emotional needs, such as the desire for love, status, recognition, and belonging (Shapiro 2002).
This workshop will involve exploring…

Organismic model
• Focuses on biological function of emotions. • Argues that there are universal basic emotions such as, anger, fear, sadness, disgust, pleasure (Sieben & Wettergren 2010).
Most scholars now concur that emotions have an important role in organisations whether positive or negative (Erickson & Wharton 1997;
Druckman & Olekalns 2008, pp1-11; Fulmer, Barry & Long 2008; Guerrero & Valley 2006; Ledgerwood 1998; Tolich 1993; Van Kleef & Dreu 2004; Weiss & Cropanzano 1996).
Controlling emotions
• The prevailing view from the 90s was that emotions should be acknowledged but should not rule conduct; assertion not aggression
