Tape recorder, Computer, Pictures.
Read the words and the text.

Learn the new words.
Read the article.
五、学情分析
The students are sure to be taught how to listen to the tape with some questions in their minds.
六、教学过程
1.Warming up
Play a guessing game:Show the Ss some questions and ask them to say out the jobs.
(1)They work in a school and help children learn.
(2)They have special skills,such as making ships,planes and other machines.
(3)When you,re ill,you go to see them.
(4)They work in a serve you food.
2.Presentation
Show the Ss some pictures and ask:What does he/she do?Where does he/she work?
Teach the words:
job,office,manager,postman,post office,policeman,police station.
3.Practicing
Guide the Ss to finish Part A1.
Listen to tape and do PartA2.
Check the answers with the Ss.
4.Presentation
Play the tape for the Ss again and answer some questions about Wendy.
(1)Where is her father,s police station?
(2)Where,s her mother,s restaurant?
(3)Is her mother very busy?
(4)How does her elder brother go to work?
(5)How does her elder sister go to work?
5.Practice
Ss listen to the tape and do Part A3.
Check the answers in pairs together.
Ss read together.
6.Production
Work in pairs to talk aboutt each other,s family,s jobs and write a passage about them.
7.Speak up
Millie is talking about with her classmates about their future to their conversation and doT or F.
Repeat after the sentence by sentence.
Act it out in pairs.
8.Production
Ss work in groups in five and talk about their future/dream them enough time,then ask several to act them out.
9.Homework
Rembember the words phrases and sentence drills.
Recite Speak up.
Use the conversation as a model and write a passage.
